Beautiful Boston Brownstone!

Welcome to South End Vista LLC! Stunning top to bottom renovation of this beautiful brownstone located in the heart of Boston on the Back Bay South End line. We currently have over 250 5 star reviews between our properties on the various platforms.

This unit offers wide open living, dining and kitchen space with gorgeous refinished original pine floors, dramatic ceilings with refinished original moldings, exposed brick throughout, brand new top of the line stainless refrigerator, 5 burner gas stove, built in microwave and white custom kitchen cabinets with white quartz countertop and backsplash. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed and gorgeous marble bathroom is stocked with hotel quality bath towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow dryer.

There are 2 bedrooms - one master with king size bed and one smaller bedroom with exposed brick and high quality daybed that pulls out to a king. Both have gorgeous new bedding.

We have installed high definition flat screens in each bedroom including a 60" smart TV in the living area and each room has high efficiency remote controlled mini splits for heat and air conditioning. There is also a new high end full size washer dryer in the unit and plenty of closet space in each bedroom.

Magical Christmas Holiday

This property was the perfect backdrop for our Boston Christmas getaway. Sue’s beautiful brownstone was comfortable, in a perfect location, and so beautifully appointed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was outfitted with everything we would possibly need, and the couch/TV area was perfect for gathering to watch Christmas movies. Sue was so helpful and added some little touches to make our stay very festive. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Just lovely!

Perfect retreat after exploring the city

We loved this apartment. It is beautiful, lots of closet space, big king beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus was stocked with some basic foods like coffee, milk, sparkling water, etc. It had plenty of room to hang out in the living area, and was a lovely Place to sit and watch the city wake up in the morning.The hosts were so helpful and responsive.

An Exceptional Place

This is a lovely apartment into which it is very easy to relax. The proximity to multiple transport links made for quick journeys to all our destinations. The host is super friendly, helpful and approachable. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would return in a heartbeat.

A Wonderful home and the most gracious hosts!

We visited Boston this September to tour Berklee College of Music with our son and absolutely loved every minute of our stay here! Sincerely didn’t want to leave. The location can’t be beat. So many great restaurants within walking distance, a legendary jazz bar a few doors down. Susan and David are generous and attentive hosts & their place is gorgeous, comfortable and immediately felt like home. We’ll definitely be back as often as we can.

Easy walk to NEU. Great apartment. Surprisingly quiet, comfortable beds, spacious living room, quiet A/C. Beware of two sets of steep stairs -- you'll be going up a lot!

Oasis near Northeastern University

I needed an accessible location from which to move my daughter into an apartment near Northeastern. This was a dream location, fully upgraded, well-stocked, 5 star experience. Beds were extremely comfortable, linens soft and cozy, and living space very comfortable. The VRBO owners, Susan and David, went out of their way to help us throughout our stay, providing restaurant recommendations and shopping support when needed. In addition, they checked on us periodically to ensure we were satisfied at all times. Best hosts ever!

Beautiful brownstone with owners taking exceptional thought of all details. Property is exactly as pictured with very convenient location to grocery, Fenway Park and restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked, beds very comfortable and marble shower with fast hot water for an older building. We celebrated a graduation and engagement with family and the living/kitchen space flows smoothly for a buffet serving. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend this beautiful brownstone!

Great stay in Boston, do not hesitate to book this one

Traveled with my wife and two teens, and really enjoyed our stay. This brownstone apartment is quintessential Boston and looks exactly like the pictures. Everything has been updated recently, with high-end finishes, big Sony flatscreens, fast internet. The kitchen is well-stocked, but you are so close to so many great restaurants, you probably will not need to use the kitchen much! I really wanted to stay away from downtown, and the location was perfect -- convenient to T-stop, back-bay shops and restaurants, South End, Northeastern U, and downtown. There's even a little hole in the wall jazz place down the way. My one hesitation in booking was that the place is on a busier street, but really noice was not an issue at all. Bedrooms are in the back and we all slept well. Zero issues. Finally, the owner, Sue, is very accommodating and you can tell she cares about her place and that her renters enjoy their stay. Very communicative and helpful in every way. Again, don't hesitate to book this one to get your city fix. Beats a hotel hands down.

Boston Brownstone

We loved this place - clean, well stocked - coffee, creamer, lots of towels, toiletries, extra blankets, washer(with a efficient high speed cycle) and dryer. Excellent communication with David and Susan. David met us upstairs to ensure easy, first time access. We chatted forever! Tons of tips/restaurants recs provided by hosts -so helpful. Walking distance to Boston Common. It could sometimes be a little loud at night due to street noise but bedrooms were in the back so we slept peacefully in comfy beds. We'd definitely stay here again, if nothing else to see David and Susan!

Great stay

We really appreciated our stay. It was a great location - half a block from the metro, on a bus line, walkable to Whole Foods for groceries (and also walkable to the symphony if you’re going there). The hosts were very responsive and helpful in figuring out some small tv issues really quickly. I know I read all other reviews looking for this info, so I’ll share in case it’s helpful for others - the apartment is on the 2nd floor of a brownstone walk up. In case someone in your party has mobility issues, it’s helpful to know there are stairs up from the street to the door, then up a flight to the apartment. Once there, it’s a very well laid out apartment and the building itself has great character. Thanks for the stay!

Great Place for a Family Visit to Boston

The location of the place was great and the hosts were super responsive. It's very close to a couple grocery stores, the T and many places to eat. It was very well equipped along with some nice touches including a list of things to do and coffee and condiments to add to a nice meal. I would highly recommend. :)
