Firefly is a one off 1970’s family house designed by an architect for inside/out Caribbean living, and all on the single level. It has all the amenities you need to relax in peace, but is also an ideal base for exploring.
Exit the living room onto terrace – which has the pool and a choice of both sunny and shaded areas. This is the place to relax while taking in the sea and mountain views. Local wildlife comes and goes - humming birds, sea eagles, lizards and by night the magic of fireflies on still evenings.
Internal decorations are in neutral colours complemented by commissioned murals and local art. All the bedrooms are en-suite, and one of the bedrooms features a level access shower. Inside/out living means you can choose to dine formally at the dining table, or informally on the terrace while taking in the setting sun.
There is nearly 2 acres of garden to explore, and a gazebo, that is ideal for relaxing with a drink and taking in the views. The garden is laid out with local plants, that provide colour. Seasonal fruit trees grow in the garden, namely papaya, mango, soursop, pomegranate and banana.
Westerhall point has beaches within easy walking distance. But part of visiting Grenada is about exploring the beautiful island that is Grenada. Most attractions take less than half an hour to get to, while getting to the North of the island takes an hour. La Sagesse beach is only 20 minutes away, and often features as one of the best beaches in the world.
The property is suitable for six guests in 2 large suites and a double room all with ensuite facilities.
