This Little House is an artistic achievement! Combining the nostalgia of Pioneer days with the comfort of our modern era, we have had hundreds of visitors that have claimed they could just live here. It has all you need and all you want for wrapping yourself in the love and craftsmanship that has gone into this place. Every effort has been made to make this place joyful and complete. It is our sincerest wish that this Little House will embrace you with love and comfort.
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

An absolute TREASURE!!!

It's hard to capture in words the charm and uniqueness of this cozy little cabin. It just EXUDES peace and tranquility, and the decor is SO tastefully done! It is small, but it has EVERYTHING that you need. We LOVED the outdoor porch and the privacy of the yard. And the old outhouse was a touch of the past! We absolutely LOVED the ambience...and the hosts, Neil and Sherrie, were incredibly friendly and inviting. We want to keep this as a well-kept secret so it will be available when we want to return. It is by far THE MOST CHARMING AND ENCHANTING place we have ever stayed in. We hope to return very soon!

Five day stay plus dog

Lovely property. Close to downtown. Close to my venue in Lumby. Small fenced yard with cottage. Dog secure. Porch with seating. Nice in evening: pleasant view, dog happy, good libations. Wish cottage had a screen door, sometimes cooler outside than in with AC. Kitchenette was great for coffee, breakfast and light evening meal. Too hot to go any where, especially with dog in tow. Would stay again, and would recommend the accommodation.

Perfect spot for a summer getaway

This was the most amazing little cottage! The hosts took such care in all the little details and everything was spotless. Sherrie and Neil were excellent hosts, so kind and welcoming- they let us have our space but we knew where they were if there was a problem. They recommended Cambrian cidery for dinner one night and it certainly did not disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back again!

The most beautiful little place

This little piece of heaven makes you feel like your in a quiet little cabin yet your right in Vernon. It is absolutely gorgeous out host Sherrie and Neil have put so much thought into taking care of and making their guess feel at home. Wonderful wonderful people and places absolutely must please to stay

Biking holiday in Vernon

This is an adorable property for one or two people. This place is quaint and very well put together. We had a wonderful experience. The biking trails in the area were easy to access and enjoyable.

A very quaint place

Sherrie is a wonderful hostess. She was incredibly prompt in her communications and was very flexible in addressing a problem that arose. The cabin itself is very charming and tastefully decorated. It's a very short drive to downtown Vernon, or an easy walk for those so inclined.

Home Sweet Home

This is a lovely little space with everything you need, more storage than you would imagine, and a wonderful sun-trap veranda. The location is excellent as it is moments from downtown/ hospital/ Kalamalka Lake, but it's also surrounded by acres of fruit trees. Neil and Sherrie were wonderful hosts, friendly and generous, so if and when I return to Vernon I will only stay on their property. Thanks so much you two!

Great Place to Visit!

Sherri and Neil were amazing hosts. Available and friendly. Our Doxie Mojo loved playing with Johnny and Angel Great place for them to play and run. The accommodations were clean and everything we needed was available. Located very close to shopping, public beach, trails and pet beach. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.

Neil and I are a creative couple and we love meeting people! Neil is a Renaissance man who has masterfully renovated our heritage home and restored the out buildings. He is also a fine artist /painter. During your stay visit Neil in his art studio on location. I (Sherrie) am a yoga teacher with my studio situated here on the property as well. I'm also a singer/songwriter and enjoy performing and jamming with other musicians. Over the years we have hosted live music gatherings where some of the best musicians in town and from across the country have come to perform and share their music! We enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome and at home.
