A one-bedroom, one-bath apartment on the 2nd floor of a house (accessible only by stairs). It’s in a fenced and gated property with a private and secured driveway and private entrance.

The apartment includes: a queen size bed, a bathroom, full kitchen, TVs, and balconies, off- street parking is with a gate and a lock. Guests will also have a private entrance to the apartment.

We’re in Roosevelt Park neighborhood. We’re within walking distance to the river walk extension, Freetail Brewing Company, Roosevelt Park that had facilities such as public swimming pool (open only in summer time), basketball courts, barbecue pits, club house, etc.

We’re downtown living. Expect some noise from traffic, train, early morning joggers, and neighborhood dogs. We provide EARPLUGS and SLEEP MASKS for our light sleeper guests.

Older home but clean and had everything we needed. Very convenient and walking distance to the River walk. Highly recommend. The train noise didn’t bother us. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great home away from home
This was a great place to stay! The location is close to the downtown area, historic sites, and is centrally located to everything we wanted to do in San Antonio. We were aware of the train and brought a noise machine which really helped along with the ear plugs the owner provided. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great property.
This was a clean, well appointed suite. We enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is older and and shabby in spots. We appreciated having a gated spot to put our car in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely spot to stay
We enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the decor. The location is very close to downtown, but in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a train track nearby, but they rarely blew their horns while passing. The one drawback was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable bed to sleep in unfortunately. If you're used to beds that are on the harder side you will definitely enjoy your stay.

No complaints. The interior and exterior of the home are so adorable photos can’t do it all justice. Stayed for a weekend trip with my bestie and we were sad to leave! Great location, easy to drive or ride share to places. The city noise was not bad in my opinion, but it’s great that they provide things to block out sound and light pollution. Flawless check in/check out process. Love the private parking. Would love to come back some day!

Comfortable stay in San Antonio
The property was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The decor is intriguing and fun. It is a pleasant walk (couple of miles) along the extended river walk into San Antonio and a short drive to the San Antonio missions. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Great getaway
My husband and I exhibited at a convention last month. Because it was a last minute decision, all the hotel rooms were no longer available at a discounted rate. We found this place for significantly less money and it worked perfectly for our needs. We liked the parking in dedicated locked spot. The place was very clean and homey.

What Trains?
First night felt like a train running through property but by 2nd night both me and spouse slept soundly through the night. Place has charm. Close to Riverwalk and BCycle station. Used them extensively!

Everything about this stay was amazing! The house was beautiful and so clean. The check in process was super easy and any questions we had were answered almost immediately. We are definitely returning to San Antonio and I hope this place is available when we do! The location was perfect. Only 5 or 10 minutes from anything we wanted to do. Absolutely wonderful stay!

Loved this unique property. It was perfect for my husband and I for 5 nights. Short walk to the southern river walk, then about 45 minutes to downtown San Antonio riverwalk. We did a couple rides backs at night which averaged $7/8 each. The train did not bother us at all, but if you are a light sleeper it may not be the place for you. We will definitely stay here again!!

This location is perfect as it's just a few minutes drive to the farmers/artisan market, grocery stores, the Alamo, Riverwalk, and Japanese Tea Garden. Me, my mom, and my brother all stayed in the VRBO and it wasn't crowded at all, lots of space. The balcony gets a great view of the city buildings. The renters set out toiletries, and were great at communicating check in and check out. Responded almost immediately anytime I reached out. We all gave this VRBO a 5/5 rating. Would definitely recommend 😊

Place was perfect for the acivities we wanted to attend. It was hard to see the property from the street but we caught downtown fireworks on balcony which is always good. It is downtown living so if you don't like a lot of noise or close train traffic you might look elsewhere. Nice neighborhood and a nice Catholic Church close by (St Cecilia) close by with plenty to do..
