Perfect location: Ski-in/Ski-out 2 bedroom right on Aspen Mountain next to core

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2.0 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

**Being one of a handful of ski-in/out condo properties on Aspen Mountain, and adjacent to Lift 1A makes this property unique.The mountain being directly outside allows for spectacular view and a peacefull and quiet retreat. Directly down South Aspen there are numorous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Aspen Mountain has only advanced blue and black ski runs for access to lift 1A adjacent to the condominium complex. To ski-in or out you will need to be able to ski these types of runs. Otherwise the Gondola is avaliable for easier blue runs or the other mountains are accessible via great Aspen public transportation for green runs etc. My family almost skis up to our Condominium level and skis down from the same place on slope side.

**The complex has a heated pool (that acts as a hot tub) in the winter with a temparature of approximately 102 degrees farenheit making it ideal for a soak after a great ski day.

**No guest pets are allowed in the complex per HOA rules. Complimentary parking for one vehicle in the on-site lot on a first come first serve basis. Additional vehicles will need to be parked off-site.

** Property is located on the 4th floor, is not handicap accesible, and does not have an elevator. The views are spectacular and well worth the trip but there are stairs.
**Guests are required to sign a rental agreement and manager

**Lift 1A operation usually starts around christmas (and did year 2023) depending on snow but in years past has started earlier in the year. Early and late season Shadow Mountain lift access dependent upon snow conditions (access as of December 25th 2023). Aspen Gondola is 5 blocks away.


**Gorgeous view of the city and the mountains. Directly adjacent to the slope. It is 4 flights up with no elevator but the view is worth it. There is a tram (when operational) between the 1st level and the 4th level if requested for luggage but not used for much else.. 2 queen size beds for comfort. Easy access to the slopes. Ski in the morning. Come back for lunch and ski in the afternoon makes for a great day. The condo has stairs inside that makes the condo unsuitable for small children. We chose this property for convenience to the slopes during the winter and hiking during the summer. It is an amazing combination of peace and quiet and so close to all the gret things Aspen has to offer. If there are any questions feel free to email and I will be happy to assist.

This place was just as advertised - excellent view and great location adjacent to the Shadow Mountain chairlift. The condo was comfortable and in great condition. Lot's of stairs, but the payoff is worth it.

This is an amazing location for a stay, Trey was a great host and made this available in less than 24 hours as our original booking fell through and we were left without a place. Could not recommend this stay more! One note - there are quite a few stairs so if stairs are an issue it likely isn’t the place for you, though there is a luggage tram to bring your things up.

Perfect ski in/ski out stay on Aspen mountain!
Our group of two couples had an amazing stay! It is a true ski in / ski out (sans a very short walk) with access to the Shadow Mountain lift and entry via Norway (double black) or W 5th Ave (blue). It is also a reasonable downhill-to-flat 10 min walk to the Silver Queen gondola. We loved the ski access and proximity to town. The property is up about 4 flights of stairs. (If you don't like stairs, book elsewhere.) However, the reward for your climb is a gorgeous view of Aspen town and the mountain range to the north! There is a lift/tram that can be used to get luggage up, which we took advantage of. Trey was a super responsive host and was happy to answer our questions about mountain access and conditions. We hope to stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay. This property is ski in ski out and located within minutes of all the best shopping and dinning in Aspen. Parking was easy and always available. We used the condos tram to help with luggage but took the stairs other than that. Two things I wish the property had, more comfortable seating in the living room and window treatments. After a long day of skiing, there isn't room for 4 adults to lounge by the warm fireplace, a sectional would be perfect. The condo gets very bright as soon as the sun comes up, there are no window treatments on the main floor and only thin white shades in the bedrooms.

Awesome spot and super value in Aspen. Living space is a nice and open. View is amazing but you earn it coming up the steps each day. I'm a large guy but upstairs shower is crazy small, I felt like an ostrich in a small garden bird bath. Kitchen was well-appointed and the unit is nicely updated. Skiing into the unit is the biggest reward at the end of a long day on the mtn. Easy walk to town. All in all, great spot!

Very comfortable, amazing views and great location!
We were in town for ski races at Highlands and the location was perfect - 7 minutes from Highlands. You could ski out on to Aspen from the condo but we couldn’t manage to fit that in, sadly. The views from the condo were spectacular. The place was roomy and bright - perfect to return to after a day on the slopes. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was sparkling. It looks like it has recently been renovated. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Why they chose this property

Love Aspen and wanted ski-in ski-out availability plus a 2 block walk to downtown. No need for a car was a high priority as well. 4 flights of stairs to get to the condominium but the view is worth it.

What makes this property unique

One of the very few ski-in ski-out locations on Ajax Mountain. Come into town and never have to get in a car. Walk to town or the slopes. Perfect for a relaxing get away.
