We also own Homeaway Property # 4963828 "Chateau Relaxo" which is the condo right next door for families traveling together.

"Chateau Relaxo Deux" is a pool view condo located on the top floor that has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in Atlantic Beach. The unit is located in the sound side community of Bogue Shores Suites. With convenient ocean access directly across the street and the Inter-coastal Waterway in the complex's backyard, this condo will not disappoint. Days at "Chateau Relaxo Duex" can be spent beach side fishing, reading, and building sandcastles or at the community pool which is one of the largest on the island. Evenings turn into cooking on the community grills with a cold drink and beautiful sound view.

The condo's remodeled bathroom has been enlarged to include a stand up shower with full size vanity/sink and a linen closet. Brand new chaise lounge couch and full sized dinette in the living area make this suite feel like home. It also features a new memory foam queen mattress and is equipped with a brand new 50 inch Smart TV, two burner stove, toaster oven, blender, and full sized dinette.

Enjoy a night out at delicious seafood restaurants and visit local shops. Many attractions await in Atlantic Beach and the surrounding areas. We welcome you and look forward to your next visit.

Great spot for a couple

Across the street from the beach! My fiancé and I wanted to spend most of our time at the beach so this made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day for food/drinks. We will definitely go back!

Perfect for me and my daughters

This property was just right for me and my two adult daughters. It is very small, but then that's what we were looking for. There was plenty of room for the three of us, and the bed was super comfortable. And the location was great. Would definitely stay here again.

We’ve been vacationing in Atlantic Beach forever and wished we’d stayed here before. Nice and quiet, pool is beautiful and the sound is real close by. Also you can walk right to the beach. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great beach value

Comfortable space with a very short walk to the beach. The full kitchen and small table were a great help for an extended stay. Quiet area, but a close drive to lots of restaurants and shops. Comfortable bed and couch. Small space, but enough room for two of us.

Reasonably priced & quick beach access

The property is older but the updates inside help the overall feel. Basically clean, but some dust on wall behind tv and ceiling fan. Bathroom door could use a good coat of paint. Basic cosmetic things to make it feel cleaner. Offering beach chairs, or umbrella would be a bonus. Overall it was good for a short quick stay for our 3 person family.

Comfortable, relaxing vacation. Checkin was seamless. Suite decor bright and up to date. Perfect view of the pool. Very welcoming neighbors, owners and renters. Clear communication with owner about what to expect prior to checkin, and the expectations they had for us as renters. Will definitely visit Bogue Shore Suites again and will look for availability for this unit.

The place was wonderful only thing that would make it better is if we could walk out the door and be on the beach. The visit would have been even better if it had not rained most of the time (can't control weather though) and one afternoon we got to enjoy a bike ride with the sun.

Honeymoon Suite

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay! The property owners did a great job detailing expectations and information needed to check in and check out. We enjoyed having access to the pool and being steps away from the beach! I highly recommend this property to any couple looking for a low-key beach vacation

Mediocre Experience

Overall the stay was okay I guess. The location was nice and it was a quick walk to a nice beach. The room had all the appropriate amenities. I had 2 big concerns though, the room needed cleaning when we arrived. There was trash in the fridge(which was later removed by a cleaner) and a half eaten uncrustable in the freezer(never removed by the cleaner) the bathroom also needed to be cleaned again. The second day we were there, apparently a cleaner came without authorization by the owner and cleaned up, which would have been fine if authorized and if they didn’t steal my wife’s pillowcase, which the owner didn’t reimburse us for. The owner also assured be that he would check the security camera and get back to us, but he never did. After dealing with other vrbo style places and hotels, I would say this room was not worth what we paid for it. I will not be coming back.

Just what we needed

This property is fantastic for a couples getaway. We had such a relaxing time away. The bed and sheets were super comfortable and all of the basic kitchen ammenities that you would need are available. It was too cold to try the pool but it’s proximity to the unit definitely makes us wants us to come back during warmer times. The property itself is a 2 minute walk to the beach and local attractions are a short drive away. We are already talking about when we can go back. Thank you for the much needed getaway

Just Right

This was my first time ever renting a vacation property through VRBO. So my search was limited to crowdless beaches because we have a 2 month old and Atlantic beach was great. The studio condo was great for our family of three and what was expected so close to the beach which was only a few hundred feet. There is a stove to cook but we did not see a toaster over as it was just a toaster. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean when we arrived. We did not hear any of our neighbors so that is a definite plus. We did use one of the grills and we were excited to use the pool when it wasn’t crowded. The only issues was there were was no onsite laundry mat to wash our clothes. Other than that we had a blast and would stay here again.

Why they chose this property

We love Bogue Shores Suites. The facility is clean, well maintained and family friendly. The community offers a large pool and a small kiddie pool in addition to a gazebo, grills, and porch swings to watch the boats go by. There is plenty of open grass areas for family corn hole tournaments.

What makes this property unique

This property has a boat ramp. You will have to pay 150.00 per week in advance to use the ramp but you will love not having to wait in line at the local boat ramps. Payments and arrangements have to be made with owner prior to arrival. Also, must bring proof of boat insurance.

This facility also has room for your kayaks and bikes. And, if you dont have a bike, dont worry! There are bike rental companies located just a couple of miles from this facility.
