Janiculum, one of the seven hills of Rome: It tells the story of ancient Rome.
to see the historic center of Rome? Then walk a hundred yards and I am already immersed in the great history of Rome with all the beauty and comfort offered by this city!Rome was built by Romulus and Remus.
Rome is located on seven hills: the Janiculum is one of the seven hills. The bottom of the hill Janiculum is built and you can choose one of these beautiful apartments.
In the morning when you wake up you decide: I'm going
Or I go to visit the park of the Janiculum and the great Street Lungara Botanical Garden!
You'll discover so many things to see that you will want to return to Rome.

The nicest review I've had: Many of my guests (no customers) have told: 'me, I felt at home away from home!'
For this review, I was moved: my guests have all become friends!

Assistance even after check-in!: Have you ever needed help from home? We hope you never have need of nothing.
But if it happens? I have always intervened personally or with my other colleagues.
To my knowledge, other Holiday not behave properly like me!

Great home in Rome

Wonderful little apartment in a great location in the city. This is just outside of more touristy areas, so you feel like a resident of Rome during your stay, yet walking distance to most sites or a short taxi ride. Rodolfo is very responsive to any questions and even advice about getting around the city etc.

Good location

Nice and clean flat in an old building with charm and very good location. Very pleasant stay altogether. The only downside was the Check-out: relatively early (10am) and no possibility to leave our luggage for a few more Hours, which was not convenient. I would however recommend this place.

Great stay in Rome

Lovely apartment in a great location. We could walk just about anywhere. There are restaurants/café/small markets all very close to the apartment and within a 30 minute walk we could get to Great Shopping, Vatican, The, Colosseum, and more. The apartment was very comfortable and had all we needed.

Stay in Rome

The apartment is very well located, very near the historic district. Close to the San Angelo Castle and the StPeter basilic. Walking easy and near (25 minutes) to go to the Coliseum, Forum and Palatin. We always walked during our stay to visit historic sites, the district , Trevi fountain etc.. Safe place to stay which is important!

Great location, walking distance to many icons

The apartment was modern, clean and well appointed - tucked away in a quiet street within walking distance to buses or trains. The living space was a little cramped with four adults. The location was fantastic as we were able to walk to many major historical attractions such as Pantheon, Vatican and Colosseum.

We loved our apartment in Rome

We really enjoyed our stay in Rome. The apartment was in a great location. It was a short walk to the Vatican. Piazza Navona and the Pantheon were very close as well. The apartment was well furnished ( although we never cooked in the apartment- who would want to pass up a meal in the wonderful Roman restaurants?). I would stay there again.

Close to Rome's famous sites....all within a reasonable walking distance. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would rent from Rodolfo again! Perfect 2/2 in Rome

The apartment is wonderful, clean, extremely well equipped. The owner is responsive, helpful and quick. We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be convenient, we did struggle with Uber driver's willing to drop us at the door. Other than that everything was perfect.

Great home base to explore Rome.

I will start by saying how grateful we were when our train was delayed 6 hours! Rodolfo worked with us to make sure we got settled despite our late arrival. The apartment was cute and cozy. Not really a living room, but comfortable places to sit and read. We walked everywhere, taking advantage of walks along the Tiber. There is a bit of uphill walking (100m) to get home, but very manageable. It was a great stay.

Great location, right in the heart of the city.

Great place and Rodolfo was MOST helpful to us and our family for our visit to Rome. The apartment was well kept and most important, the AC worked well! The only drawback is a narrow street with very limited parking but who needs a car in Rome anyway. If I visit Rome again, I would most definitely contact Rodolfo and try and stay at his place again. The apartment is a gem of modernity

This duplex flat overlooking Castel Sant'Angelo is tastefully designed and furnished. It provides all the modern amenities of kitchen, laundry and office in a compact space with a master bedroom downstairs and a twin bedroom upstairs. Everything functions well and if you have the slightest problem the landlord responds inmediately with kindness and good humor. We enjoyed each moment of our long stay here, and so did the family and friends who came to visit. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful Apartment! Close to Vatican.

This beautiful apartment was very enjoyable. It was perfect for 4 people. Included a full size refrigerator, stove microwave, washer and dryer. We appreciated having hair dryers in each bathroom. Shirley and Iryna were great giving us directions for the use of the apartment. They also gave us information on using the buses and subway. Even ordered taxis. They were very helpful!

Hello Rodolfo, We had a wonderful stay at your apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and within very easy access to the Vatican, and most of the sites in Rome. The washing machine and dryer were a wonderful addition and the dishwasher made our stay most comfortable. Internet access was perfect, once we learned how to "reboot" the system. We would recommend your apartment to anyone! Your housekeeper was a delight. We appreciated your meeting us upon arrival, and your quick response to our questions. Thank you.

Very nice!

We stayed at this apartment with another couple and had an amazing stay. The location is perfect. Off the beaten path but yet close enough to walk where you might want to go. One word of caution is that is located on a steep hill and depending on the path you take also include a large amount of stairs. However, that comment is more about the location because the apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and well appointed. Rodolfo is an excellent host and made sure we were acquainted with the apartment upon arrival and he even helped arrange a taxi for us for our return to the train station. I would definitely choose this apartment again when I return to Rome. Thank you, Rodolfo, for such a pleasant stay!!!

Better than a hostel

The neighborhood was great and the property was wonderful. We did receive detailed instructions on how to leave and return to the property each time. If you stay during the summer, know that there is only one set of keys that also turns on the AC and electricity as well as opens the door, so there is a delay in returning to the apartment before the air gets cool again. Checking out was a bit stressful as we had to deal with chores regarding the electricity panels as 4 young women. The apartment also has several passive aggressive signs regarding other costumers. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Great location,

Great location . Upon arrival we were greeted and everything in the apartment was explained. Short walk to the Vatican and the Hop on Hop off tour stop at the Vatican. Many restaurants within a 20 minute walk and a mini market 5 minutes away at the base of the street. A larger market is over the bridge. Garibaldi Park is very close up the hill from the end of the street. The uphill walk is worth the spectacular views Rome and beyond. The four of us were comfortable is this secure apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. Highly recommend the Hop on off tour.Purchase the tickets prior to your trip, board at the Vatican stop and the double-decker bus will travel all around to the Rome sights. Highly Recommend this apartment !

Lovely and tranquil

This was our second time at Rodolfo's apartment and we found it was delightful as the first visit. The space works perfectly for a small family (we were traveling with our daughter) or two couples - and it's rare indeed to find a space in historic Rome as quiet, immaculate and convenient. Rodolfo and his staff are super nice and responsive. When we accidentally disabled all the radiators and set off the smoke detector, Rodolfo responded immediately and set all to rights in a jiffy. The view from the downstairs bedroom is something I wish I could wake up to every morning. One caveat: "Salita" means ascent in Italian and ascend you will on steps or steep streets to reach this terrific flat. Mille grazie, Rodolfo!

modern apartment with amazing view

this apartment is just as advertised. it is very modern, clean and comfortable. the owner and his agent are easy to work with. the bedrooms and bathrooms are great, and the bedrooms have lovely views of city rooftops. the location is good, with both the center of the city and the vatican nearby. there are two issues with the apartment that i would mention. the first is that there is no living room, and only a very small sitting area, so there is no common area for socializing. of course, since we were out all the time this was not so important. the second is that the entrance to the apartment is on a fairly steep hill, and to get up to the street you must walk up a city staircase. so if you have trouble walking up hills or stairs this apartment is not for you.

Enjoyable apartment in a great location

As two couples traveling to Rome, we could not have been happier with our accommodation. Rodolfo’s home was immaculately clean and quite spacious. The location was perfect; near to many attractions, but situated on a quiet street. This home is fully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils, a full-size refrigerator and a large gas cooktop; if you’re inclined to try your hand at Italian cooking. The large clothes washer and dryer allowed us to pack lightly and wash clothes as needed. The check-in process was friendly and thorough. Rodolfo responded promptly to all our inquiries and requests. Walking to the Vatican or Piazza Navona was very do-able. But we also made use of the bus system which was easy to use with three convenient bus stops nearby; Pza. Di S. Onofrio, Piazza della Rovera and LGA Sassia. On day two, we discovered we could take the 115 or 870 bus to Pza Di S. Onofrio (Bambino Gesu) and walk down the hill to the apartment! Don’t miss walking up the hill to Bar Tasso for great coffee and pastries and see the stunning hilltop view overlooking the city of Rome! We would definitely recommend Rodolfo’s home to family or friends.

It's i nice property, but impossible owner

The owner is extremely difficult, there are endless rules, and at least 30 signs with rules for every thing, on the shower doors, windows, cabinets, etc. arrival is difficult only an hour and half window which is very difficult if you fly and the plane is late or drive like me, you can't plan for traffic etc. The door entry and exit is impossible, if you leave you have to turn off all power , A/C and wifi, i was locked out for 2 hours, because the greeter told me i could use a different key to get in and leave the power on. but it didn't. This place and owner is so ridiculously, stressful. I have stayed in hundreds of properties over many years and never have i had to deal with difficulties like this.

Ideal apartment for small family

Our 3 week stay in Rodolfo's apartment was the high point of a wonderful two-month sojourn in Italy. Where to begin? The apartment was spotless, comfortable, super peaceful, with wonderful light and a lovely view from the main bedroom of the Florentine church across the Tiber. For about 10 days two of our adult daughters shared the flat with us and there was plenty of room for all. The street is lovely, residential, quiet day and night (aside from the sound of ambulances serving the nearby hospital). Everything worked perfectly and when we had a minor issue with a shower drain, Rodolfo fixed it instantly. In fact, Rodolfo himself is totally charming and extremely attentive -- we enjoyed chatting with him (we do speak some Italian which was helpful, though he provides a translator for those who don't) and by the end of our stay he felt like an old friend. The neighborhood, while devoid of nightlife, hopping bars, or large grocery stores, is super convenient to all of central Rome. Bus service is great but it is also a quick and beautiful walk to Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Vatican etc. In short, this was a dream come true -- and we will certainly stay here on our next visit to Rome and renew our friendship with Rodolfo. Grazie mille per un soggiorno indimenticabile!

Perfect - Close to St. Peter's!

This apartment was perfect for our one month stay in Rome. Rodolfo was very accommodating and made everything very easy for us from the time we first inquired about staying there. He was great about communicating via email prior to our visit. Then when we arrived, he and his interpreter met us at the apartment and went over everything to make certain we had what we needed for our stay. He also arranged for our taxi pick up to the airport when we departed. The apartment has beautiful natural light from nice big windows, two good size bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms with heated towel racks and a nice functional kitchen. It has a small living area (really just a small sofa in the kitchen by the TV) but it was fine for the two of us. The upstairs bedroom gave us plenty of room for the occasional visit from our daughter who was attending the American University a few miles away. All of the appliances and plumbing worked fantastic - and there was even a washer dryer! The apartment is very close - maybe 1/2 mile - to The Vatican and we were able to attend mass as St. Peter's whenever we wanted. It is also close to bus line and easy walking distance to Campo de Fiori and Jewish ghetto, and neighborhoods on east side of Tiber as well as Trastevere, just to the south. The walk along the Gianicolo Hill is beautiful and begins just at the end of the street. This is a very nice apartment and we would highly recommend staying here.
