Wonderful Getaway

Such an amazing place to stay if planning to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. So secluded, we felt like we had a piece of the park to ourselves.

Relaxing beautiful home

The house was fully furnished with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, the firepit was cozy, the atmosphere was so relaxing and communication was very prompt and helpful. We had a wonderful time! I can easily recommend booking this home!

Clean, well-stocked house that served as a great base for visiting acadia and bar harbor. All the furniture is comfy and there was plenty of outdoor space for relaxing. We loved our stay here!

Great Cabin at Acadia Park

The cabin was amazing, it exceeded our expectations. Was very well equipped and the location was just perfect. Close to everything Acadia Park has to offer and at the same time secluded for resting. Will definitively recommend this place to friends and family. 5 stars

We stayed here for three weeks with our family of five. The house was clean and well cared for. The host was easy to communicate with and provided suggestions of activities in the area. We’ve stayed at a number of different rentals near Acadia over the years and this is one of the few we’d stay at again.

Pretty Marsh Hideaway

This is a great place to stay. It is new, clean, and well stocked. It is several miles from the activity of Bar Harbor and has beautiful woods around it. The host has provided many convenient things to make your stay comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This property came as advertised and was very well located! Close to Bar Harbour and Acadia park! This house is very well equipped with everything that you would need to cook and entertain! We would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect location to Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor

We enjoyed our stay. The owners thought of so many things to make you feel at home. The beds were very comfortable. My grandson enjoyed the frequent visits from several deer. It feels very private but you are close to so many things.

Great Family Stay

This is our second stay at this property and we were again very happy with our choice. It’s a great place to call home for a family vacation. Incredible Home

This home is AMAZING. It has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. Roomy, great kitchen, comfy beds, laundry, etc. We loved the quiet area, and it was only 15-20 minutes away from any hiking we wanted to do. Loved Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bria answered the one question we had immediately. Would recommend this home to anyone. This is the place you want to stay!

Pretty Marsh, Peaceful Marsh

We had a lovely 3 days on the quiet side of the island. We hiked up Beech Mountain in the fog and kayaked around Mt. Desert Narrows. In the evening we enjoyed games and a fire in the firepit! The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep! But, Beals won our hearts for a water front lobster/mussel fest!

Very nice house

We enjoyed our stay and washed all sheets, rugs and towels before our departure. We also did all dishes and swept, wiped all counters down. We enjoyed the Air conditioning and full kitchen. Didnt get the chance to use the patio or grill.

Simply fantastic!

A beautiful, literal cabin-in-the-woods that is a true home away from home. It a quiet and secluded part of Mt. Desert and exactly as described. The kitchen is WELL stocked for any level of cooking. Access is easy with a code. All rooms and beds were very comfortable including the futon downstairs. We felt like we were in our own home from the minute we walked in. Close to all the attractions. And it is very quiet and peaceful at night. Host is an excellent communicator and almost instantly.

Mount Desert Island Hideaway

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the woods! The house is clean, modern, and well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is great because it's off the beaten path in a nice quiet area, but close enough to all the sites you would want to see on Mt. Desert Island with a short drive. Excellent place to stay if you like peace and quiet. Very comfortable with a great flat screen TV. Gas grill and fire pit were great for relaxing and cooking a burger after hiking all day. Also, loved having a washer and dryer available. Super easy check in and great communication from the host. We will certainly look stay here again on future trips to Mt. Desert Island!

Relaxing week in Bar Harbor

My husband, daughter, and myself drove out from IL to meet up with my family on the east coast for a week in Bar Harbor. The house was able to accommodate the 6 of us perfectly. Location was great and just far enough out that we had our privacy to relax and get away from the crowd. The property manager was prompt at returning messages and was available to assist us with any needs we had. Appliances were all new and worked great and beds were comfortable. Only downfall is there are no ceiling fans in the house and at times it became just a little stuffy. Over all a wonderful stay and couldnt have asked for better.
