Welcome to Hornbrook Lodge.

The perfect place for a family getaway or a friend's get-together. Tucked on 7 wooded acres, the custom-built lodge vacation home offers complete privacy with close proximity to Ithaca's downtown (7 minutes), Cornell (12 minutes), and Ithaca College (5 minutes).

There are two very spacious upstairs bedrooms with king beds, each with its own bath. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, its own bath, and a walk-in closet. Luxury comfort is the key here. Two beds have Tempur-Pedic mattresses and one has a king feather bed.

The Great Room offers spectacular views of surrounding woods with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wood-burning fireplace with a sunken seating area, and plenty of lounging space.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of tools, gadgets, and spices to make a gourmet feast. Enjoy that perfect meal on the spacious dining deck, or inside while watching the fire glow and the snowfall.

No matter what the season, Ithaca Lodge is all about comfort and relaxation!

• We are in a rural setting, about 7-10 minutes from Downtown/The Commons. A car is necessary as there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance.
• The cell signal is spotty. T-Mobile or AT&T gets the best service (one to two bars at the front of the house). Verizon is terrible to non-existent.

Great NY Getaway
This cabin is perfect, the location is great and the hosts are amazing. It is also one of the most well stocked rentals I have stayed in, anything you could possibly need is available. The hosts are very proactive with communication and very accommodating

Absolutely Gorgeous
Eva & Dann are simple phenomenal! From the initial inquiry to the time we had to leave, EVERYTHING went so smoothly. The Hornbrook Lodge is stunning and so well decorated, we fell in LOVE the moment we pulled up. Not ONE complaint and we are TRULY looking forward to more stays here.

We absolutely love Hornbrook Lodge!!! This is our second Thanksgiving staying and we hope to make it a family tradition. Eva has anything and everything you can imagine to make a holiday meal with ease. A fantastic family time playing games, hanging out with our grown kids and making wonderful memories. What a Unique Treat
Hornbrook Lodge was such a special place to stay! A beautiful wood home in a serene setting. The modern design, furniture, and decorations was just fun! There was plenty of room for the six of us. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and lots of places to sit, talk, eat, or relax. There were also many extra amenities - products in the bathrooms, paper products including tissue, and even wood for making fires. The outside area was also well appointed - two decks with furniture, a grill and a propane heater, and chairs around a fire pit. You could never leave the house and still feel you were on vacation! Instructions were provided to answer most questions, plus Eva was very easy to communicate with. It was clearly the owners’ intent for us to enjoy our time in their home, and we did!

Comfortable Lodge
We spent 2 weeks in Ithaca to visit with family. Eva is a very welcoming and thoughtful hostess. We entered a clean lodge with a generous goodie bag and slippers waiting for us. Beds were very comfortable. Linens and towels were nice quality. All the appliances are new. The furniture indoor and outdoor was lovely. My husband used the office area. The bathrooms were clean and nicely updated. We took advantage of the s’more station and bonfire! Eva’s home is incredibly well stocked. We hiked in woods and on Ithaca trails. We took in all Ithaca had to offer, including Cornell football. Eva was very quick to respond. We would definitely come back to her lodge. I highly recommend for immediate and extended families. Plenty of room for 6 people. Our dog loved the woods. Truly a lovely experience. The

Great Stay at Hornbook Lodge
We had a great weekend at Hornbrook Lodge. The property is outstanding, both inside and out. The house is spacious, comfortable and super well-equipped. It has two decks and a nice area with a fire pit. The hosts provided us with a very generous welcome basket, which we appreciated. The only negative about the property is that it is so enjoyable to spend time there you might find it difficult to get out and going. If you’re thinking about booking the property I would certainly recommend that you go ahead. I’ll be very disappointed if we don’t get back there sometime down the road.

First of all the place is beautiful. There are great spaces inside and out and it became our little enclave where we caught up and spent time. The hummingbird feeders were a surprise feature of the outdoors showing up with their buzzy sounds and grace. I have never in my life seen a place that was so stocked with food and condoments and spices. Great accomodations, beds linens, and pillows. The one thing in their description they could tighten up was the office that has a sleeper in it, it was a beautiful place with large windows overlooking thickly populated trees. Only thing was there was no door and no separation from the living area. Other than that it was perfect top to bottom and a both functional and beautiful space.

Well appointed and lovely home in the Finger Lakes area
The house was clean, well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The kitchen was amply stocked with good quality equipment for cooking full meals inside and outside, including utensils, cookware, dishes and glassware, spices, grilling tools, and even ingredients for making s'mores at the firepit. The beds were comfortable, and the bed and bath linens were very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the decks and playing games around the big dining room table. This house in its lovely wooded setting was a great base for relaxing after hiking the gorges and visiting area attractions.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The lodge is perfectly located close enough to Ithaca but far enough from the chaos of graduation to be relaxing. The scenery was breathtaking. We were very comfortable and the hosts have literally thought of everything a guest could possibly need.

My family and I absolutely loved this magical place in the woods. We spent the week of Thanksgiving visiting our daughter who attends Cornell and loved every minute of our stay, we rarely left. We found some board games and played hours of Catch Phrase enjoying the fireplaces and admiring our beautiful views of the property. It's truly magical!!! The kitchen has every amenity you could possibly think of and then more. The pantry was wonderfully stocked. We felt like we were home. Eva was a phenomenal host, she treated us like we were family. The attention to every detail including house slippers and the special welcome and birthday gift bag were amazing. We can't wait to go back!!!

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and filled with everything you need: fully stocked kitchen, board games, laundry, lounging and dining areas, fireplace, TV, and internet. We were all impressed with how every need was anticipated including welcome snacks, coffee, and fresh slippers to wear inside. My friends and I were in town for the Ithaca College Alumni Weekend and had a blast the first night sitting on one of the 2 spacious decks catching up. The next day we drove to campus easily for all the activities. Hosts are very responsive to queries.

Peaceful Retreat
We rented Hornbrook Lodge for a weekend getaway while attending a wedding in Ithaca. We are so happy with our choice of accommodation! It was great to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet just a short drive away from the wedding activities in town. As fellow VRBO Premier Hosts, we fully understand the time and effort it takes to provide a top-notch guest experience. Eva and Dann have done exactly that! From the moment we walked in to the lodge, we felt at home. The home was clean, comfortably furnished, and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The multi-story wall of windows in the great room afforded sweeping views of the beautiful gardens and surrounding woods. We loved the cozy lodge ambiance, the spacious bedrooms, the well-equipped kitchen, and especially the outdoor decks and the fire pit. The complimentary S’mores station was a big hit for evenings around the fire pit. We all agreed the Hornbrook Lodge would be a great place to spend a few days watching the snow come down in the winter! Thank you for the hospitality and for sharing your lovely home with us. The welcome gifts, slippers, and the fully-stocked crock of dog bones were great surprises at check in - even our dogs loved their stay! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Hornbrook Lodge.

Amazing property!
The lodge was absolutely wonderful! The homeowners have thought of every little detail to make our stay enjoyable like a S’mores kit, welcome letter and gift, paper goods, etc. They were always quick to respond to any questions with had. This house has to be the best stocked house VRBO we’ve ever stayed. Think they have more kitchen gadgets, pots, etc. than our own home. It definitely would be a delight for a gourmet chef. Our teen was impressed with all of the board games. The lodge is tastefully decorated throughout with art work, retaining the historical nature of the house with modern touches where needed. The renovated bathrooms were lovely. We absolutely loved our stay here. The only caveat is that the lodge is most definitely a retreat. We had no cellular service (Verizon) and the internet wasn’t the greatest which made it challenging for husband to work and daughter to get online classwork done. Despite that, we’d love to stay here again. It’s just something to keep in mind if you have to work on vacation.

Wonderful home in the woods near Ithaca
We enjoyed our stay in this secluded, well maintained, and comfortable house. The wrap-around deck was our favorite place to be when the sun was shining. Our host thought of everything to make us feel welcome and was responsive to our questions. We highly recommend Hornbrook Lodge.
