Spacious house in nice Secluded location. Property had everything needed for a weekend away. However, was unable to find fire pit at property which was a little disappointing.

Easter break
Property is awesome. However we were not given the villa number or a location map. We also received two different codes for lock box with the key. There was only one key so had to make sure everyone used the correct code.Had to message owner when arrived . While waiting for response we knocked on doors to try and work out where to go. There were little complimentary toiletries, a variety of loose less teas but no milk! Lots of space and very comfortable beds. Wifi dropped in and out, not unusual for the area. Would definitely stay again now that we know the process. Very convenient position with a fantastic coffee shop close by on Commanage rd. Thanks

We are a family of four with two young children that live on site. Should you need anything during your stay we are always happy to help out. Thursday through to Sunday you will find us at our onsite restaurant and cellar door.

Why they chose this property

Rivendell is situated only ten minutes from Dunsborough and Vasse. Busselton and Margaret River are both about 20 minutes away by car. Rivendell is located on Wildwood road that leads down to Caves road and the pristine beaches we are so proud to have here in the south west. Smiths beach is only 8 kms away and there are plenty of beautiful trails in national parks and on the coast that are available for everyone to enjoy. Here at Rivendell there are several holiday homes sharing the use of a tennis court and views of beautiful natural surroundings. The onsite restaurant and cellar door offers lunch and a full bar menu as well as coffee and tea.
The natural bush hosts a variety of natural life and you are guaranteed to see kangaroos and plenty of beautiful birdlife. We named our villa the Cockatoo lodge due to the population of large black cockatoos living here. If you are lucky you might even spot one of the many possums and gliders that reside in our bush. We like to remind our guests that while there is plenty of beautiful nature to enjoy it is important to be mindful that not all wildlife are friendly and kids should be accompanied by adults when playing outdoors.

What makes this property unique

We live on the property so if you need anything or have any questions or issues contact us and we will be around shortly should you need us.
