Welcome to Sea Star at Calypso Resort and Towers. The most pristine one bedroom unit at Calypso Resort & Towers! Located directly on the beachfront, this opulent unit comes with all the comforts of home, top of the line luxury furnishings and incredible views of the coastline for up to 40 miles!!!

The vacation rentals dirty little secret is that comforters are only washed once or twice a year. Rest assured knowing that we are the only vacation rental provider on the Gulf Coast to offer the Clean Bed Guarantee. This means the bedding in our condo is changed out with a freshly washed duvet and duvet cover for each new incoming guest.

$50 Parking Fee (per stay/per vehicle - limit 1) is NOT included. You will be emailed a parking pass request before your arrival.

Not as nice as i expected.

I expected a .uch nicer condo whith what i read. The pictures dont show everything. When i walked batefoot after a shower the boftoms of my feet were black. I felt it could have been ceaner. The cookware was not very good.i felt i could have gotten better any place else for the price

Amazing Location

The condo was clean, well-kept, and gave great beach vibes. The view from the balcony was excellent and we saw sharks, dolphins, sting rays, and even a bald eagle, twice. The bed is comfortable and I’m not sure we’ve slept that good in a long time. The beach chair service being included was outstanding and saved us hundreds of dollars for the week. We loved the location as it was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back as we loved every bit of this property!

Great rental

This unit was on the 21st floor. It was very quiet and a nicely decorated unit. Very close to many restaurants. Lots of rental options on the beach. I think some instructions about all the remotes for the bedroom TV would be helpful. The bottom fitted sheet doesn’t stay tight so wasn’t the best. I didn’t report this but the door for the dryer has to have something under the door to keep it from popping open and shuts off. Had a great stay!

We stayed at this property for a baby moon. We have loved staying at the calypso the past few times we went! The listing matched the description almost perfectly, although I did feel like there was more balcony seating in the listing, but it did not matter to us. The room was clean and loved having extra fans in the room! The beach chair service was nice to have included as well! The view was my favorite part though! I love having the ability to wake up in the morning and drink my coffee while watching the water and sand below! Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely Amazing!!

This unit was Amazing!! Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable Bed and the view!!! The view is Breathtaking!! We saw a Dolphin the last morning we were there!! My wife loves Dolphins so she was so excited!! Chair service was included!! We got two chairs and umbrella for the week! They assigned you the chairs and they are yours all week! It was nice not having to go down early to save chairs! So close to Pier Park. It was nice to be able to walk there!! I highly recommend this property!! We will definitely book again!! Oh and the Host…She was amazing!! She answered all my questions and recommended places to eat for our 20th Wedding Anniversary! She was awesome! Thank you for everything👍

“Aye, Calypso, I Sing To Your Spirit”, John Denver

John Denver’s song, Calypso, came to mind when I started my review of this condo on the 21st floor of the Calypso Towers. Both are simply beautiful and give majestic deference to the sea. Our view of the ocean was stunning as we could see dolphins playing in the ocean not far from the beach. You could see and hear the waves rush to shore. The pier was a very short walk. We also enjoyed the perk of free beach chairs and umbrella reserved every day. The location of the resort is literally less than a block from Pier Park. We walked to restaurants, gift shops, and an excellent movie theater. When we tired of seafood, we walked down to Diego’s Mexican restaurant for excellent burritos. We highly recommend this beachfront property as it truly will make you sing to your spirit with all it has to offer.

The Reidos

The condo was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved everything about this unit and the Calypso! We're looking forward to another visit, hopefully soon :)

Peaceful Getaway

Unit was clean. Bed was very comfy. View was amazing. Elevators were fast but finding a cart could be challenging if checking in at prime time. We checked in late and left very early due to our drive. Water was beautiful and we had an umbrella set up for us each day. Decor was very nice. Location to Pier Park was great!!!

Calypso 2105

Stay was good. Could not get into ocean due to rip current, that was a bummer. Neighboring rooms we’re smoking on the balconies so we could not enjoy sitting on the balcony. We did report this to Calypso management, but we could identify the room(s). Overall, pleasant stay.

Great family memories!

We loved our stay! The bedroom was spacious for my husband and I and ours girls were comfortable on the pull out couch. The location was ideal as we could walk to pier park in ~5 min from our resort and obviously the beach view/ access was wonderful. The keyless entry was also very convenient. Would def go again!

This place is wonderful

5 stars all around. We loved that there were 2 bathrooms. The tub was great. Separate shower. Large walk in closet. Great sized fridge. Someone did have fish in it before us. Please. Renters, don't do that. My grapes smelled like fish. The kitchen is well stocked. Keurig was great. Didn't have to bring mine from home. We didn't check pots and pans to see what was there as we ended up going out each night. It was so close to everything. How could you not? My only negative was the bed. Too firm for me. Husband was in heaven. He went and got me a mattress topper so by night 2 I slept like a baby. The linens were very comfy. Pillows were good for a rental unit. And there's a bunch of spare pillows in the closet if you need. Nights 1 and 2 we had a loud buzzing coming from the electrical closet outside of our unit. My husband did not think it was normal so he reported it. Maintenance was to our unit within 10 minutes. And a few hours later the sound was gone. Maintenance was superb. This unit is directly next to the elevators. I thought that would be a problem. Rest assured zero issues. One rowdy party goer one night but they were out of the hallway quickly. Loved the unit. We would stay again. Extra bonus was the military jets did a direct flyover and circled our tower. That was fun. So loud but so so cool. I was secretly hoping they'd do it again.

Spring Break 2023

This was our first time to Panama City Beach. The property is great and the Unit was very nice. The fridge at this property has an overpowering fish odor. It permeates through the entire unit every time the fridge is opened. The management company was very responsive, they kept trying to clean it, which did not help at all. They need to dispose of this fridge to get rid of the odor, which understandably they are not open to doing. This could be problematic for someone with a fish allergy, and certainly it should be disclosed before you visit. Again, kudos to the management company for trying. but vacationers should know that this can put a damper on your stay, especially if you need to use the fridge. It was just as bad when we left as when we came.

We stay at Calypso often, and this has been the best unit we’ve stayed in! Very nice and updated and clean. Building location is perfect for walking around pier park or to shuckems, room location right by the elevators was super convenient. Will plan to stay here again!
