About this property

The Silo Experience

Cozy and comfy. This is an experience not just a place to stay! Grain Bin repurposed into a tiny home that doesn’t feel so tiny. I’m sure you will be impressed by this little gem. Kitchen, full bath and loft bedroom. Located just far enough out of town to feel like you are miles away in the country. Very quiet and private. Located on a small farm with mini horses, mini donkeys, dwarf goats, bunnies, turkeys and peacocks. A must see!

Adorable, comfortable, relaxing
My husband and I came for a weekend anniversary getaway. This property is so great! It was very quiet and relaxing! It is located in the country but it was only a short drive to places to eat. The silo is decorated so cute and is comfortable for two adults.

Charming and unique
We’ve seen a few silo properties over the years, but this was the first time we actually booked and stayed in one. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The silo itself is incredibly charming featuring all kinds of warm and homey touches. Initially, we were concerned about exactly how much room we’d have in this small space, but those fears were wiped away immediately when we checked into the silo. The space is well designed and efficient. The bottom floor is easy to maneuver around in, and there was plenty of room for storing our bags (under the stairs to the loft). We very much appreciated the full kitchen, and the bathroom, while small, wasn’t cramped at all. I’m 6’6” tall and had no issues whatsoever. Upstairs in the loft, there’s even more room available with a small sofa for lounging and a very comfortable queen bed. The stairs are a bit steep, but are not difficult to navigate. We even got the opportunity to meet the owners, who were hospitable and friendly. We chatted with them about the property, and they introduced us to their menagerie of miniature horses, goats, donkeys, and kittens. If you’re looking to experience a distinctive stay that beats the pants off a boring hotel room or even a traditional VRBO accommodation, we strongly encourage you to stay at the Silo. We will definitely be back.
