Welcome to “Sea”clusion! This beautiful and exceptionally clean second-floor condo offers the best view of the beach! Relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the balcony and watch the dolphins, or relax beachside with a nice book. This one-bedroom condo can easily fit up to six! Includes a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin built-in bunk beds, and a queen-sized pull out sofa. BED LINENS AND BATH TOWELS ARE INCLUDED, no need to bring your own. Wireless internet, with cable TV, books ,board games, cards and puzzles ensure there is plenty to keep everyone entertained inside. This is a true home away from home- featuring a fully equipped kitchen (including Keurig coffee maker, pancake griddle, and blender) full size washer and dryer, and dishwasher to meet all of your needs. Walk right out onto the (mostly secluded!) beach or enjoy the recently renovated outdoor pool that is steps away from your door. Owner provides recommendations of places to visit, things to do, places to eat to help make your vacation the best it can be. Relaxing Vacation Spot

This condo is exceptionally comfortable and well equipped, and the owner is helpful and easy to work with. Just a few steps from the beach! I didn't want to leave, and would love to stay here again!

Anniversary Trip

We couldn't stay any closer to the beach!! We felt as if we were in on a cruise ship during high tide....loved it!! The home is in walking distance to Fort Fisher, the beach is quiet and beautiful. The home was very comfortable and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is great! Definitely extreme ocean front which was lovely listening to the waves. The only downside was the kitchen supplies which were very old and not in the best shape.

Getaway at Kure Beach

Great property right on the beach, you really can't get any closer to the water. Great proximity to Ft Fisher activities and walkable to the pier if you like a good beach hike. Property was clean and comfortable. We had no issues during the stay however, the owner is very accessible if needed.

First off the owner was extremely nice and went above and beyond compared to any other condo owner I have rented from. The place was absolutely beautiful and cozy. The area was peaceful and had beautiful scenery. I highly recommend!

Great Place for a Getaway

I rented this condo to celebrate my birthday with a couple of girlfriends. It was the perfect place for 5 of us for a long weekend. Everything was clean and comfortable. Teresa was quick and responsive to my many questions. Would definitely rent again!

Awesome oceanfront weekend!

This property is amazing - oceanfront is the perfect description! One of my girlfriends and I came for a long summer beach weekend (I’m 30 weeks pregnant and she has a 3 month old), so the close location to the pool and beach was amazing! Teresa was sweet and checked in on us during the weekend, and had a lovely condo that suited all our needs. Will definitely be back!

Needed some rest. The room was nice with a beautiful view. Good local food ( Freddys was my favorite) Pier Fishing was fun and relaxing something I haven’t had a moment to do . 5 stat all around .

Great place with everything within reach!

We visited with a family of 6: two parents and four kids (9, 7, 4, and 1). The fact that we could be at the condo (with a GREAT VIEW), at the pool, or at the beach in 2 minutes was amazing. The tide pools, the aquarium nearby, and fort fisher are cool amenities for families. Having Kure Beach and Carolina Beach restaurants and shops nearby is a plus. Pro tip: ride the ferry from Southport for a cool experience on your arrival. We loved this vacation!

The condo was wonderful! Our upstairs neighbors ended up being really loud most of the stay, sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. The view and location was simply amazing! Usually after a week stay at the beach I’m ready to go home, this time, I wasn’t. I appreciated how clean the place was.

Best getaway

This was the perfect property! We were looking for something relaxing and low key on the beach. Being located as one of the last properties on Kure Beach allowed us to avoid crowded beaches. We were just steps away from the beach making it easy with younger kids they also enjoyed the access to the pool. If we ever venture back we would definitely consider staying again! Theresa was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had.

Vacation State of Mind

Beautiful property. It was really quiet and peaceful except for the stomping upstairs. When we realized it was a toddler running back and forth, compassion overcame aggravation. I was disappointed in the kitchen - we cook on vacation and the knives were hazardous - literally came away from the base while using. Wish there had been some large bowls for stirring things in. Otherwise great location and lovely place.

Can’t get closer to the water!

When my husband and I were looking for a place to go with our two girls (ages almost 3 and almost 5) we wanted somewhere very close to the water, a not crowded beach, a pool, the bathroom separate from the bedroom with a king size bed and a pull out couch so the kids could go to sleep and we wouldn’t disturb them... and also at a good price but still wanted it to be nice too! I searched for a WHILE with such a big checklist and we were SO lucky to find this place that literally had everything on the list! I couldn’t believe just how close we were to the water! Our only disappointment was that the aquarium wasn’t able to open back up due to covid and our rainy day option was out. Check in was super easy and we loved not having to worry about a key! We definitely want to stay here again! :)

Renters Beware!

My husband and I have stayed at several very nice rentals in this area and this particular one is below the standards that anyone should have to accept. First, there is extreme beach erosion. There are very large sandbags in use and have been in use since 1985. The owner is stating that these sandbags were placed for the tropical storm but they were not. Google “The Riggins Sandbags” and you will see that this complex has had extreme erosion since it was built. If you plan on using the beach, you will only be able to use it for 2 hours a day at low tide. The rest of the time there is no beach as the waves rush up to the sand bags. Second, the unit needs a deep cleaning. Upon entering, there is a stong musty/mold smell. There are 2 dehumidifiers in the unit. The furniture covers have dirty spots/stains, there are water stains on the floor near the kitchen and soft spots in the floor. The dishwasher/stove have rust on them. Lastly, there are bugs in the unit. Both cockroaches and water bugs. We left the unit after seeing several bugs in the unit. I attempted to work towards a solution with the owner but she stated she would not discuss reimbursement. I am currently working with VRBO towards a solution. I read all of the reviews and there was one bad review for this unit. I thought it was a disgruntled renter, now I know her review was accurate. In this listing, there are not any sandbags in any photos despite the owner stating there is. Rent elsewhere!

Great location and beautifully decorated!

We love this end of the island! It is quieter, yet restaurants and attractions are close by. We enjoyed walking down to Ft. Fisher every night. The unit is beautifully decorated, and you could not get closer to the beach!

We have been visiting this area for the past 8 years, typically staying in CB. We decided to stay in Kure this time and we were not disappointed. The view at this property is amazing! My family loved it. We will definitely be back.

Hi! We are so happy that you have taken the time to explore more information about our little piece of heaven on Kure Beach. We never thought we would own a beach property but the opportunity arose and we grabbed it and are so happy we did.

We are from Apex, NC, which is about 3 hours away. We work full time running an automotive business that has been in the family for 40 years.

Why they chose this property

The Riggings is the last property on the islands south end. Its views are outstanding with the huge rock jetty to one side and sometimes vibrant emerald green outcropping of coquino rock to the other. Its so beautiful that beach photographers often bring their clients here to get that perfect beach photo. An early morning stroll can take you alternating between pristine beach and trails through salt water marsh brimming with wildlife.

What makes this property unique

Kure Beach is the perfect vacation spot because it is outside of the "crazy". While we go into Carolina Beach very often to eat or shop, we love that we can come down to our little end of the island and breathe....ahhh. Kure beach has no hotels so the beaches are much less crowded especially where we are at the very end. Within 1/2-1 mile of our location is the Fort Fisher Museum, the Fort Fisher Sate Recreation Area (where you can drive your 4WD on the beach) The Aquarium and the Ferry. People drive from all over the state to visit these destintations and it is right here at your door. Your stay at the beach can be as active as you want it to be with so much to do.
