About this property
King Street Boutique Resort
Charleston is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the South. From history and dining to shopping and sightseeing, there's something to do around every corner of the city. Located in the heart of the city along Upper King Street, the resort is within walking distance of award-winning restaurants, art galleries, great shopping and more. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride along cobblestone streets past stately and lovingly-preserved antebellum mansions and graceful gardens. Shop for antiques, enjoy lunch at a tavern dating back to the Revolution or stroll down to Waterfront Park to view Fort Sumter still guarding the harbor–the first shots of the Civil War were fired here.

Very comfortable and clean location. The employees at the location were very kind and helpful. One made quite a few odd and kind of rude comments toward me, but other than that the stay was wonderful. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was enjoying exploring Chareston, the building was in a great central location on King Street. Made walking and biking a breeze.
Clean, modern, well appointed with everything we needed. Full kitchen, living space, and large bathroom. Plenty of room for both of us to stretch out and relax. Super reasonably priced. Not right in the heart of Historic Charleston but very close. Public parking right across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Better options in town
Overall our stay was fine with a few issues. 1. Location is not the best, would look for other options closer to French Qtr. 2. Thin walls, could hear neighboring rooms. 3. Visible code compliance issues. Door to room did not have smoke gaskets, windows were inoperable could not have been used for emergency egress. 4. No thermostat in room, no control of room temperature.
Will not return.
We had a wonderful time at this property. It was comfortable and the kitchen was ideal with everything needed for our stay. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful for any of our needs. The location is on the north end of King street and near restaurants. Supermarket is about a 30 min walk as is many of the things to see in Charleston. Longer than we had expected but still OK. Uptown Social bar next door can get noisy at night so request a room on back side of property if noise is a concern. Overall, a great stay and we look forward to returning to Charleston!
First time staying in Charleston and for my wife's birthday no less! We didn't realize parking was such an issue there so we did use the valet provided by the resort. I think the only kinda awkward feeling was the attempt to sell us on buying events there or the usual "so you have time to listen to our pitch" for a free stay or gift card. Other than that, the bed was great and very comfy. The location was great in relation to the shops. We walked everywhere. I'd stay there again
We visited Charleston after departing from a cruise. Hotel was in a good location. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Public parking directly across the street for easy access. Recommend walking or taking bike taxi if you are going down to Battery or Marketplace if you are not a walker. Room was wonderful with all amenities needed!
Great location & great room. Valet parking was a breeze. Greatly appreciated the coffee in the lobby each morning. Bed was incredibly comfortable. We will be back!!!
This property was great - everything was smooth to check in and the location was excellent. Close to plenty of bars and restaurants. The room was clean and as advertised.
We came to town for a concert and this location was excellent walking distance to so many restaurants and places to shop and hang out. We started each day, hanging a right and walking the entire day. Our room was impeccably clean, as was the entire property and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating holding our bags for a few hours before we left since we flew out and didn't have a car. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Charleston to see all it has to ofer.
This is an excellent property and we had a wonderful stay. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were delightful and the property was secure. This could have been a concern as it does get a little rowdy on King Street. They did try to split our 6 night reservation into two and make us move in the middle of our stay. We objected and they “found” a place for us to spend the whole time. We had to ask twice for towels. They also draw you into a time-share discussion that we had to wiggle our way out of. Overall though it was a great place to hang out in Charleston.
The unit was clean and comfortable. Located near many restaurants, city shuttle route, and easy walk to King Street shopping. Room above King street a bit noisy due to King street night life. White noise definitely needed.
