A Decent Place
To start with, the property is nice. However, one of the biggest detractions is its location. It is removed from the city in a way that almost will always require hiring a Grab or tuk-tuk. The arrival process was fine, but a surprise request for THB 5,000 from the person checking us in was offputting to say the least. If they needed a deposit, wouldn't it make sense to just put it on the card we booked with and then return it? If you just flew into Pattaya from a different country, you might not have that kind of cash. The propety was supposedly recently refurbished, but there was definitely a bit of wear and tear. I think the biggest detraction was the lack of basic amenities. For instance, they provide 1 towel per person irrespective of the lenght of stay. They don't provide pool towels, a washer or dryer, a dishwasher, anything in the shower to place shampoo/conditioner/body gel and paper towel. They did provide one sponge with a little bit of dishwasher liquid for apparently all your cleaning requirements. It could be that we are picky, but those basic things would have gone a long way to make the stay more enjoyable.
