There is a screened in porch, outside ski locker and an air lock entry for boots and outside clothing. No shoes, boots or skis in the unit. No Smoking Allowed. No Pets.
About Sugarloaf: Sugarloaf is located in Carrabassett Valley in the heart of the Western Maine Mountains. The Loaf, as Sugarloafers refer to it, is Maine's second highest peak at 4,237 ft with a 2820 vertical foot drop. Sugarloaf is the largest ski area east of the Rockies. The trails and glades spread across Sugarloaf Mountain, Brackett Basin and Burnt Mountain. Sugarloaf offers the only lift serviced above tree-line skiing in the East, 1,360 skiable acres, 176 developed trails and glades with 3 terrain parks: 22% Green Circle trails for beginners, 32% Blue Square trails for intermediates, 26% Black Diamond Trails for advanced, 21% Double Black Diamond Trails for experts and Glade skiing. 120 acres of new trails with a new High Speed Quad (Bucksaw Express) being added to West Mountain in 2023, 95% snow making coverage on 700 acres of coverage, ten year average snowfall of 206 ft with a total lift capacity of over 25,388 skiers/hour. In February 2024, West Mountain was opened, spanning 120 acres with 12 new beginner and intermediate trails with views and terrain reminiscent of skiing out West. Bucksaw Express, a new high speed detachable quad, provides access to this new terrain.
