Burrill Lake View Holiday Cottage - pet friendly 🐶

Original beach holiday cottage overlooking beautiful Burrill Lake

Brand new kitchen and bathroom, two bedrooms and a lovely sun room with veranda to watch the sun go down over Pigeon House mountain and the lake

Very large, private and enclosed backyard to step onto from timber deck leading off the kitchen and dining area

A few steps to a wonderful bakery, IGA supermarket, cafe and bottle shop as well as the best fish and chip shop on the south coast means no cooking required although full kitchen ( with cooking essentials), Nespresso machine and BBQ at your home if you wish.

The lake is great for swimming, SUP boarding, boating and fishing (boat ramp nearby) and pristine, undeveloped Burrill Beach is a 5 minute stroll away.

Air conditioning and heating and laundry with top loader washing machine, dryer and second WC available for guests. All bed linen and towels provided.

Wonderful getaway

We had such a lovely stay…the house is gorgeous with everything you could need. The backyard is secure and a great space for us (our daughter loved the chicken garden statue!). Kevin’s communication and recommendations were on point. The location is ideal and an easy walk to the lake, shops etc. loved our time here

Great place to stay

The cottage is gorgeous and everything you need is there, lots of kitchen gear, staples such as tea, coffee, sugar, basic cooking supplies and more. Easy to check in, good communication with the host, great yard for the dog, close to beaches, good for boating, fishing. Close to shops, bakery, cafes. Quiet neighbourhood. Will definitely return.

Great family getaway

A beautiful quiet getaway

The perfect place to unwind with the beauty of nature all within walking distance. Such beautiful area to explore, fish, swim and relax. Kevin was so accommodating, we had all the essentials, plus some! Thank you for such a wonderful week away. Highly recommended!

Relaxing and quiet lakeside getaway

Kevin (the host) was very helpful and shared lots of tips and recommendations (both for activities, and dining) prior to the trip. The place was very tidy and the photos in the website were accurate and descriptions were spot on so it helped set the expectation for our stay. We had such a lovely time and the check-in/out process was very smooth. Our little dog loved the backyard to run around in. We will surely be back!

From the moment I found this place I knew I would love it. Gorgeous little home, incredibly accommodating. Charming cottage just perfect for a relaxing getaway

The cottage is very well equipped and so clean with a great kitchen, bathroom and laundry and fireplace in the lounge room. The location couldn’t be better, close to shops, lake and beach with a lovely enclosed garden backyard perfect for dogs and their owners. Wonderful to sit on the verandah and relax. The host goes out of his way to keep you informed and provides you with all the local recommendations and info to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A true Super Host. Full marks from us on our stay. We will be back.

Perfect place to relax and unwind

Comfortable and cosy, beautiful gardens, lovely deck outside to sit in the sun a with a cuppa and a book. Quiet area, but close enough to everything if you want to go out. Lots of beautiful local walks, birdlife, easy access to fishing. Pop over the bridge to a handy supermarket, or walk down the road for a coffee at the local bakery. The host, Kevin, does everything possible to ensure your stay is a truly enjoyable holiday! We will be going back as soon as possible!

Lake Burrill trip

Lovely property with character, well appointed, cosy, perfect for pets with secure back yard. Bakery goods and a handwritten note were a nice touch. The girls swam at Burrill Lake inlet most days with the dog, the boys surfed at Burrill beach, just a short walk away, perfect! Communication with Kevin was excellent, he couldn’t do enough to help, including a late check out which meant we could go for one last swim. Highly recommend!

School holiday get away

Quiet street, lovely house, close to the local shops, the backyard is enclosed with plenty of privacy, the back has a nice, pleasant garden, loved the morning sun on the deck. The house was very clean. Communication with Kevin the host was fantastic.

The sweetest Cottage

This cottage is just the sweetest. I absolutely fell in love from the moment I arrived. The original features down to the old sunroom, fireplace, french doors and Windows to the updated bathroom and kitchen. The backyard was perfect for my dog with plenty of tree shade. I’ll definitely be back to do it all again but a longer stay next time. Kevin was amazing and full of information to make our stay perfect.

Comfortable stay at a lovely location

My husband, dog and I stayed here for the second time and it will not be the last. We arrived to find relaxing music playing, a lovely smell and some bakery treats. The house is comfortable and the yard great for the dog. A boat ramp at the end of the street allowed me to kayak every day to a great spot where we could swim and the dog play on the beach. Very relaxing stay.
