Come enjoy our newly renovated getaway; a short walk from the beach and downtown shops. The private backyard oasis includes plenty of places to gather and lounge; in-ground heated pool, pool house, patio dining table & lounge chairs, fire pit patio, and screened-in porch. The home is perfect for families or a small group retreat. Also a great place to stay while in town for a wedding and a short drive to a Notre Dame game.

Convenience and relaxation are key, so the house has everything you will need; kitchen gadgets and cookware, washer/dryer, beach towels, linens, gas grill, and kid toys. We want to make yourself at home and relax.

The screened-in porch is your sanctuary for a morning cup of coffee and an afternoon cocktail. Enjoy the shade in the pool house on a warm summer afternoon.
Lounge and enjoy a movie on the smart TV in the rec room, or play billiards, darts, foosball, and more in the game room.

The upper level features 3 bedrooms (king, king, and two twins), kitchen with counter seating for 2, porch, dining room table with seating for 10, living room, and full bath with double sinks and shower/tub. The lower level includes 1 bedroom (2 queens), game room with billiards, darts, and foosbol, rec room with a large couch, smart TV, full bath with shower, and clothes washer/dryer.

Everything you need is a walk away. We are conveniently located 1.1 miles from the beach, 2 blocks from Jackie's Cafe, 1.1 miles from Redamaks, and 0.7 miles from downtown New Buffalo shops and restaurants.
Do you like breweries? It's a short stumble to Beer Church, 1.5 miles to Ghost Isle Brewery, and a 15 min drive to Greenbush Brewing Co.

Four Winds Casino is only a few minutes away, and it's a quick drive to the Warren Dunes and/or Michigan City Prime Outlets. The University of Notre Dame is a quick 40 min drive and Chicago is a little over an hour drive or train ride.

Fantastic Family Trip

We were lucky enough to book this house over Labor Day Weekend. The location was perfect--short, easy walk to restaurants, breweries, shopping and the beach. The house had all the essentials and was comfortable. The pool was great for fun all day. The owners were responsive. Really can't beat it! Highly recommend this house. We are looking forward to our next visit.

New Buffalo Home with Pool

Great for a family vacation

The best thing about this rental for our family was the swimming pool. It was a huge hit with my grandkids (3 and 6). The dart board was a lot of fun for the adults as well. Although the home could have been a bit cleaner, it had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep/get ready, and relax. It's only a 2-block walk (if that) to a great breakfast restaurant, and just about a 10 minute walk to downtown New Buffalo, with shops and restaurants. My family really enjoyed our time here!

Perfect lake/pool long wknd getaway

The house was perfect for all generations of our family long weekend. Pool was wonderful and the pool house also had quality items needed for the lake. The house was conveniently located, just a quick walk to several great spots. Bonfire area, grill, kitchen amenties, game room!, bedrooms/bathrooms all great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!

This house was amazing. Clean, warm, fully stocked with everything we needed. The screened in porch was great and the pool was amazing! We had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun and sun

Wonderful house for families with young children. The pool was fantastic fun for all of us. Lots of toys, towels and stuff to take the beach too. Great location.

Excellent stay

We stayed here for a family vacation with adult children and a spouse and our 3 year old grandson. There was plenty to do for all ages. The 3 year old loved the zoo in Michigan City and the zoo was the perfect size for a 3 year old. Not to crowded and not to large. The family all enjoyed the beach and local shops. The private pool was even better than expected! Check in and out was a breeze and the 1:00 time was so convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time in New Buffalo. It rained and that didn’t stop us as the game room and movie channels kept everyone entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The house was very clean and this made us feel comfortable! Would love to do this again when it’s warmer out and we can enjoy the pool.

We had a 5 Star experience

Extemely clean. Good linen quality and good mattresses on the adult beds. Tastefully decorated. Lower level game room was perfect for our boys 15,14, and 12. Lots of good TV selection. Close to town. Had a small plumbing problem and Host was right on top of it. Had a plumber there ASAP and considering it was a holiday week that was amazing. Could use a little more silverware had to handwash if dishwasher was not full. Great state of the art appliances. I brought my own crock pot. If you added one to the mix that would be great. May be a shelf in the laundry area for that. No really room left in the kitchen for storage for that. Great toaster. Micro wave dials were icons not real easy to figure out. May be a legend to explain. If we had such a great experience in the Winter the warmer months would be fabulous. Great yard, great screen porch & pool that we were not able to take advantage of due to weather. For it not being a large home it did not feel crowded with 7 of us there. Floor plan was well thought out. Look forward to going back. Grocery Store Barney's has a fabulous wine selection.

Great Gathering Place for my gal pal trip

We had a great time in New Buffalo the beach and the pool were amazing they provided us with floats and a cute little pool room. The bedrooms were nice and clean.

Our family reconnected?

The teens loved the pool and took over the game room in the evening, singing their favorite songs. Then we all played traditional board games. Check put Captain Mike's fun park 13 miles north. Tons of reasonable priced fun for all ages.

Backyard Oasis

We had some luck and found good weather on the Friday as we arrived. It was so nice to relax by the pool. The accessories on this property are top notch. The home is close to New Buffalo's stores and restaurants which is convenient. The home itself is really set up well and decorated nicely. We will definitely be back! Thanks Mitch

Awesome property with pool - close to beaches

House was clean with a great layout, well-stocked, and conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood minutes from the beach. We hope to stay here again someday. Nicole, the host, was helpful and responsive, making our very first summer rental easy and a positive experience. So many thoughtful details we loved and didn’t know we needed right down to the pool house, outdoor grill, and kids toys/games. Kids (4 and 5) loved the heated pool and beaches. Each morning, before the kids were awake, some of the adults walked from the property to coffee shops and New Buffalo Beach (amazing views!). We initially wanted a property on the waterfront but it did not end up making much difference since multiple beaches are a short ride away and easy to find, with plenty of parking options.

Perfect Quick Fall Break Getaway

We're frequent visitors to New Buffalo in the summer, but had never been during the fall and decided to book a short trip during Fall Break. The hosts were gracious enough to keep the pool open a few days longer for us and the kids (and Dad) loved splashing in the balmy pool despite the cool, rainy weather. The pool house was perfect for the toddler and I to hang out and watch the fun while staying sheltered from the drizzle. The house is clean, comfortable and just as pictured and is very nicely stocked! Soaps, shampoos, condiments, etc. which make a shorter trip with kids much more practical - no hauling a car full of miscellaneous things from home and no need to purchase locally for 2 days of use. Much appreciated indeed!

Great house for our Family Girls Weekend!

We loved this house for our family girls weekend trip. We had plenty of room to hang out, laugh, & play games including a bit of karaoke! We also really enjoyed the screened porch & the pool area for our morning coffee & chats! We did not use the pool.. planned on jumping in but the rain changed our plan. Had to give 4 stars because on our last morning, after 2 showers in the downstairs shower, the toilet, shower & laundry area would not drain. Thankfully it didn’t affect our stay much because we left for brunch shortly after this happened. Then we came back just to load our bags & leave. The owners did respond with questions & planned to get someone right over, however we were already leaving.

Great pool

We picked this place mainly for the pool and it did not disappoint. Kids ranged from 6-14 and we all enjoyed it. The place was clean. We appreciated the labeling of cabinets so we could easily locate items. The house is close to downtown. We walked, but also drove downtown as there aren’t sidewalks along the neighborhood. Some nights the adults wished there was a tv on the main floor to watch something different than the kids. :)

A Wonderful House to Get Away!

The house has all that you need for a fun summer get away. The pool was beautiful and came with plenty of beach towels, comfy patio furniture and pool toys. The kitchen was nicely stocked so we didn't have to bring things like condiments, spices or oil. The hosts were very responsive and helped us resolve an issue we discovered right away. I would highly recommend this house for families who want a comfortable, fun and well-maintained place.

Fit for a family vacation!

We have rented houses in Harbor Country for twenty years and this is the best one we have stayed in!! Great house! Great Pool! Great location! Very clean. Very well stocked - paper products, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, towels, beach towels.
