We stayed here to attend a 3 day music festival. Our stay was amazing. Our host was helpful and available for anything we needed. We came and went at crazy hours because of our flights and activities, and were able to get everywhere easily.
Super cute, and well-appointed and the decor throughout is just beautiful. Private and quiet in the backyard of their home right on the beltline. 1st time booking a tiny home, and plan to come back.
The container house was great! It is a very cool space that is amazingly well organized. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc and we had everything we needed. The location is walkable to so much and a really cute area. James was very communicative with all of my questions and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this place!
We LOVED this place.
We came up for a concert and truthfully this home James has made stole the show and became the highlight of the trip! The energy of the space is incredible-- peaceful, tucked away, cozy yet with plenty of space. The neighborhood is so walkable with plenty of awesome breweries, brunch spots, etc all around. Truly cannot be beat! Highly recommend and have already told plenty of friends who plan to book.
My best friend from college and I made plans to catch up in Atlanta for an extended weekend. We wanted a place to stay that was walkable, interesting, relaxing, and safe. This checked off all the boxes and then some. The container home is wonderful - quaint, cozy, and pretty. The neighborhood is equally wonderful - artistic, walkable (in multiple directions), safe and fun. We highly recommend this home and this neighborhood!
This container rental is in the perfect location to Krog street and the Belt-line in Atlanta. There is a separate entrance from the owner’s house and parking was super easy. James answered any questions we had and offered extra heaters because it happened to be cold when we stayed. This property has everything you need for your stay. My daughter and her friend loved it as well, and want to stay there every time we come to Atlanta. If you’re looking for a unique place to stay in Atlanta, this urban container home is for you! We will be back!
Our stay at the Gimlet was awesome!! The container setup was perfect and not one detail was overlooked. The neighborhood was very safe and we could walk or use electric scooters to get to the local restaurants, bars and breweries. The only reason I gave 4 star on cleanliness was because of the exterior of the property. Inside the container was immaculate, however the deck and sitting area for container area was not usable because it was dirty. The yard of the main house was not maintained very well either which made me a bit leery when we first got there. With that being said, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Where to start? It’s sometimes very difficult to distill experiences into words. I could use all the adjectives I know and it still would not convey the subtle essence of a stay in the Gimlet. Sublime, beautiful, peaceful, inspiring, restorative. Those all apply, but it is so much more. Located in one of the most delightfully eclectic areas of Atlanta you will be steps away from every experience Atlanta has to offer, some of the best restaurants and shops in town are in walking distance, and you will find plenty of parks and greenscapes near as well. The container home is so gorgeously decorated it’s breathtaking. And the hosts, I can’t say enough good things. Welcoming, genuine, and wonderful people. Whether you’re looking for a place to stay while you enjoy Atlanta, a little staycation, or a place to have a relaxing vacation this vrbo can provide it. I can’t recommend it enough, go, stay, enjoy, embrace, and return again and again.
Great stay overall. Modern home with plenty of space and small outdoor patio. Perfect area to get anywhere. Easy parking. Hosts are very prompt to answering questions!
