“The Meadows” Container Home in Country Setting

Summary:
The Mainsail is a tiny container home handcrafted by CargoHome™ right here in Waco. With 1 bedroom and an inflatable floor mattress, it sleeps up to 4 people. Features a super comfy Hilton queen mattress. The rooftop deck lights up beautifully at night and is a great place to stargaze or enjoy a morning coffee. Full size, custom-tiled shower and spacious bathroom completes this beautiful home. Just a short 12 minutes to Magnolia and Baylor.

The Space:
This unique home started as a 40' shipping container. Our build company, CargoHome, insulates and panels the interior in pine shiplap and trim it out in 100+ year-old barn wood. The outside is clad with cedar siding, spaced to allow the original container to still be seen. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. LED lights inside and a super-quiet, efficient mini-split AC unit makes this a comfortable, energy efficient space.

The Neighborhood:
Great, safe neighborhood in the country just north of Waco. 5 minutes from I-35 and 3 minutes from Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. Only 8 minute from the Waco airport.

Getting Around:
You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

Interaction with Guests:
We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. We’ll try to meet you to show you the house if possible but you can also check yourself in with the passcode we’ll send you the day of check-in.
