My husband & I stayed with our 2 dogs for the month of July. The location was perfect - away from town and near hiking trails but close enough for easy access for restaurants and shops. The trail at the end of the road was perfect for our morning walks with the dogs. The home worked out great and Pat was a nice host and quick to respond when needed. We really enjoyed our stay. One note to manage expectations- the backyard is fenced but it is overgrown- which is common in the area. We had just imagined playing fetch which didn’t work - that said - the dogs were happy running around - only noting so no surprises for future guests.
We had a wonderful family gathering for spring break. Fenced in yard allowed our dogs plenty of fresh air. Pat was a great host and responsive to any and all questions.
Pat was a fantastic host for this location. She responded very quickly to us whenever we had questions. The Eagle was comfortably furnished and at a great location with a lot of personality. It was very close to some great restaurants (eg Breckenridge Distillery). Thanks so much for letting us stay!
Spent two weeks here in the summer with our family of four having great adventures in the mountains. Our whole family wanted to move in permanently. The layout is perfect for a family and the fenced in yard made having our dog there a breeze. Pat was a great but unobtrusive host. Best rental experience we’ve ever had!
We stayed same place in summer of 2019, and we were wonderful renters, same people, one less animal. I know her rules, but a little harder to follow with 2 feet of snow and temps down to 5 degrees. Dogs have to pee! They go out and pee, IN THE SNOW. They poop in the snow! They have no 7am to 7 pm schedule and then sleep all night. One dog was not acclimated and pooped on the deck, which promptly froze like rocks and was removed. I did NOT pick up yellow snow! I apologized profusely if my adult relatives did not police their dogs as well as I did mine, and I have let them know!! We were given a later checkout and spent several hours removing dog hair (yes, dogs shed—large cleaning fee says owner understands that), mopping floors, reading and following close up instructions. I was only aware of 1-2 “accidents” downstairs…my daughter assured me she used white vinegar and scrubbed the area on the laminate. We spent every morning removing snow on the deck, steps and even from the drive when snowplow no showed. I MAY NOT HAVE SCOURED THE 2 FOOT DEEP SNOW FOR EVERY DOG STOOL! Dogs go out, it snows at night, covers dog poop—I would have had to filter all the snow in the yard. it was between 5 and 20 degrees under winter storm conditions. Dog pee on the snow will be gone first warm up. BARKING: the three adjacent houses ALL HAD BARKING DOGS, often at night! When one dog barks, our dogs bark. We took dogs out on schedule AND ON DEMAND, to avoid owner complaints, if other dogs are barking, whatever time of day or night, our dogs would bark…even at 3 am! I slept on couch to let them in and out. I am so sorry about any dog pee you think you found. I would be too at my house. But getting downright nasty in response to my humble apologizes, taking large deposit on top of high cleaning fee and threatening to try and take more will not be profitable for owner. I understand, not to return to your rental! I’m sorry, nice place! But you are trying make killing off this rental and your concerns. We did take photos just before departure and are willing to defend ourselves above my above admitted shortcomings. Some of your concerns appear unfounded. We have Never had a bad VRBO or other review with our pets!
This house is in a great location! Close enough to town but far enough for peace and beautiful views. The home is spacious and comfortable. Full kitchen with all we needed, awesome hot tub, nice wrap around balcony for star- gazing. Large kitchen table for all 6 of us. We did bring a firestick to watch tv-there is only Internet, which worked fine. The washer/drier was nice to have after we drove to Buena Vista for white water rafting. The town of Breckenridge it’s about a 10 minute drive away but is very cute and has many shops and restaurants. We took the free gondola ride to the top of peak eight and they were plenty of activities for everybody. The nearby hiking was also fantastic!
Pat is very responsive and Made us feel very welcome. This was a great summer vacation four my family of six including our highschooler, our college daughter, and our two working kids.
This is a great house with all the amenities and especially the really large fenced yard and private hot tub. Close to a walking trail and only about 10 minute drive from town makes it very convenient.
Awesome house. Property and layout is way better than the pictures. Had everything needed for a relaxing getaway and thanksgiving meal prep. Highly recommend! Hot tub during a snowstorm is a unique experience! Loved every minute and I highly recommend to anyone looking for their own family getaway. Property is on a mountain in the forest, a 4 wheel drive is highly recommended.
Had a great stay here with my family and 2 dogs. The yard is fully fenced for your furry friends, so no worries! Great 3 bedroom house, plenty of room for the whole family. Beds are comfortable! Treed, corner lot is gorgeous! Close to downtown! Would highly recommend!!
We loved this house for many reasons! The owner was amazing to work with. The house is in a beautiful setting and there are hiking trails literally at the end of the street! The fenced yard was perfect for our furry friends to join the vacation. We will definitely stay here again.
Great space just outside of town - it had everything we needed for a week's stay. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs. Will definitely be looking to rent it again.
Ideal home for family. Open kitchen, ding and living area and master bedroom and bath with huge jetted tub upstairs. Kitchen large enough for all 3 of our cooks. Everything we needed dish and pan wise to cook meals. Upstairs has large porch over fenced in spacious yard. Dogs loved it. Nice hot tub. Downstairs has two bedrooms, full bath and another living area with TV which was great for the adult “kids”, who live in different parts of the country, to stay up and do their thing. We were fascinated by the hummingbirds that would fly over your shoulder to the feeder 2-3 ft away from you. Owner was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Our dogs may have had at least, if not more, fun that we did!
The property is in such a beautiful setting. The meadow down the street with incredible views was really a highlight. We loved the deck and the yard. Everything was truly wonderful! The host was very responsive with any questions we had, and comunication was smooth and easy.
The house was perfect for our family of 7 and all of our dogs! Pat was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway!
Great home. Clean and comfortable.

Great ski house in breck
My family of 5 and dog stayed at this ski house in the back of breck near peak 7. The location is good 10 min away from town but easy to get to. It is in a beautiful area and there is access to a hiking trail in the National forest at the end of the road. The house itself was nice. All of the bedrooms and beds were good. We used the kitchen for almost all meals and there was plenty of cooking utensils. There are a couple common areas so we could all spread out. The hot tub was private, big and hot and the yard is fenced in. The owner was very helpful and made special accommodations for us. We really enjoyed our stay.
