Anniversary Trip

The place is closely located to the French quarter which is very convenient. Overall the place was clean but some things need to be addressed: washing machine won't close so can't use it, vent in bathroom caked with dust and doesn't work, hot water lasts 5 minutes because the tub faucet won't stop completely when taking a shower. I tried to message the property manager about checking out early after the horrible incident on Bourbon street left us uneasy, but never got a response. Overall, this place is good for the price and is secure in a locked building.

Unfortunate Decline

We stayed at this property two years ago and it was terrific. This time, it was a huge disappointment.We stayed for 12 days. We were given two bath towels: mismatched, threadbare and stained. We were given one set of sheets: with dried blood stains. The bathroom mats were torn.The bathroom fan did not work. The bathroom was not CLEAN (there were hairs that clearly did not belong to us). The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were soooooo cheap that they looked like they were bought on the street (not even a 99 cent store) - disgusting. There were two ant invasions (which were eventually fixed).We have stayed at MANY vrbos over many years and this is the first negative review that I can remember writing. After about a week there, I texted the host and reported many of the problems. I said that I would not write a review but I was extremely upset and disappointed. The host immediately responded that the problems would be fixed. Never heard from the host again until we left and they kept asking us to write a review. Clearly AI. I am, therefore, doing what they have requested: writing a review.It's really too bad because the apartment is located in a perfect spot and is safe. Clearly, they are trying to save money and no longer care about their investment. A real shame.

Great apartment; close to the French Quarter!

Very spacious and comfortable apartment. It has everything you need to enjoy your time in New Orleans. Yes there is some noise from the street cars but they pass by pretty quickly. You can hear them in the bedroom if you’re awake but they never woke us up. They run much less at night. Try to park in the garage across the street as it is much cheaper than parking behind the building overnight. Great apartment with great hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was in a great location, easily walkable to the French Quarter and good restaurants. There was a parking garage across the street for $25 a day. We were a little disappointed because we booked a king bed but it was a Queen when we arrived. Just know: it’s a Queen! The trolley was outside, but it didn’t bother us. My husband uses a white noise machine that is travel size and we never heard the trolley at all. There are blackout curtains on the bedroom door and that keeps the room nice and dark. The place looks like the pictures, so no surprises.

NOLA

Great property ~ super location. When you walk in, you feel like you are in a well designed home (furniture picked out for the space not leftover items found in an attic to fill the space, gorgeous artwork). It has such a great flow/vibe with the modern layout in a wonderful old building space (brick wall, high ceilings). Very charming! We only used the kitchen to boil water for tea, but there are plenty of dishes/utensils and a great island bar or dining table. New appliances! The communication with the property manager was done via email, and was concise and timely. We appreciated the blackout shade on door to bedroom. This stopped the light from coming through from the front room, and I imagine helps with a bit of noise reduction from the street. The trolly cars were a bit loud, but they pass quickly and heck, they are right out the front door for a quick trip to Canal St. Besides being very nicely located, the unit was clean and well maintained. One drawback was that the listing said that it was a King bed (my one search criteria when looking for a property to stay at), and it was a Queen. If you are dead tired from exploring the City, stop in at Olive (restaurant located just downstairs). Nice Mediterranean cuisine.

Clean, private, great location

This property is excellent for a couples getaway. It is clean, safe, spacious, modern and in a great location for exploring New Orleans. Just a short walk from the French Quarter, and the Streetcar Line runs in front of the building. It has very high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and all the necessary amenities for an extended stay. It is also very tastefully decorated. The only demerits we could give are - 1)the ceiling fan in the main space doesn't have a speed control. It's on/off at the fastest speed. The bedroom had a remote to control the fan speed and light, but there was none for the main room. 2)the toilet seems to have a persistent air bubble, and will frequently splash a small amount of water out when flushed. After this discovery, we simply closed the lid and there was no further issue. We would happily stay at this property again, so these small and very fixable issues are minor. Don't hesitate to choose this location for your couples exploration trip to New Orleans. It's location and privacy are top notch.

Awesome stay

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The place was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was really a plus. The location was near to many of the key sites in New Orleans. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Great Location and a very comfortable condo

We enjoyed the condo and all it’s comforts. Easy to get to the French Quarter and the Garden district. Lot’s of neighborhood eateries with, of course, incredible food. Will definitely stay here again.
