It was our 41st anniversary, and this place made it wonderful! Emma has thought of everything. It’s a beautiful property, and cozy and quaint to boot. Emma’s is a must stay!
Private, peaceful setting. Great place to sit back and get away from it all. Interior of cabin is spacious and well stocked. Outside has a couple of nice areas to relax and enjoy nature. Plenty of hiking trails and scenic drives nearby.
Beautiful place, perfect for a couple just wanting to relax. Will do it again!

I loved the location and the beautiful flowers and the outside area. We had everything we needed to cook and grill! It is decorated like an enchanted cottage! Bed was so comfortable and every detail thought out so well for a comfortable and homey get a way. Me and my husband loved it!
We had a great time hiking the Ozark trails around Jasper. Such a beautiful area and Emma’s Place was a perfect getaway; very secluded and private. Would definitely stay there again.
Had an amazing time in Jasper. Emma’s cabin was very cozy. She has thought of everything to ensure comfort. The water pressure in the shower is great and the bed super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The entire cabin was spotlessly clean! Great proximity to town and several of Jasper’s hiking trails. Loved the wildlife on the property. Will definitely be back!!
Emma’s Place was wonderful! So cute, and clean with a comfy bed. It’s set back off the highway so it’s quiet and relaxing. I half expected some little elves to come popping out from the little porch . Communication with Emma was excellent!
Cutest little cabin a couple could want. Easy access for motorcycling. Great location for all the motorcycle routes in area easy to get to lots of nice amenities. Would stay again when an area
Emma’s place was great! Clean Quiet and relaxing! Me and my husband were impressed with how clean the cabin was. Close to Jasper and right down the road from the Arkansas Grand Canyon! We enjoyed the wildlife and seen a deer and fox during our stay! We will stay at Emma’s again if or when we visit the area again!
Adorable cottage close to town but away from it all!
Emma's Place was the perfect location for a relaxing, peaceful get-away! It is right off the scenic byway but tucked away from the road in a very well-groomed area surrounded by trees, making it feel like we were miles away from anyone. We had everything we needed for a quiet weekend alone.
Emma was so sweet and helpful with suggestions for places to visit and activities in the area...we tried several of the restaurants she suggested and everyone we talked to knew her, even when we were in Harrison! I wish her "junk shop" had still been open so we could have met her in person, but I feel like I got to know her through our many communications and the personal touches throughout her place. I really loved discovering all of the little gems around the house and property...from her collection of books on the Buffalo River area to the cute garden decor, you can tell she put a lot of love and thought into each piece.
My only disappointment was that we had to leave and return to reality, but I hope to return someday with my mom, who would absolutely love it there! Thank you, Emma, for your hospitality and for sharing your lovely little place with us!
Everything was perfect! The house was cozy, clean and had Everything we needed. The house was situated off the road about 300 yards and was surrounded by woods with a big yard. Fox and deer frequently came into the yard in the mornings and evenings. Jasper was just a few minutes drive away. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. The area is surrounded by the Ozark Mountains with amazing views. Ozark cafe, Cliff house Inn restaurant and Jasper pizza company were all really good. Jasper pizza company had the best pizza I've had in a very long time. Great area to hike and kayak/float the buffalo river. You'll enjoy everything about Emma's place. Highly recommend!
Emma’s place was a great place to stay. Very nice & clean cabin, property was nicely taken care of. Cabin was outside of town so it was quiet & peaceful. In the country but still close enough to town. Would definitely recommend for 2 people. Property manager responds quickly & her numbers are given at the cabin if needed.
The cabin has a very warm, cozy, airy and rustic feel. Extremely clean and well accommodated. The perfect place to relax after long days exploring the beautiful Ozark roads on my motorcycle. Very quiet and peaceful while enjoying my morning coffee in the nicely decorated private yard and surroundings. The Cliff House is only a few miles away with the most amazing mountain valley view in Arkansas — and great food too! Jasper is just a few miles in the other directions for provisions and the historic Ozark Cafe as well as other restaurants. The location is perfect. I highly recommend staying here for any single or couple.
Very comfortable stay! The property is beautiful and full of wildlife and is private! Deer visited everyday. Easy access with a motorcycle. Emma was a wonderful host and is available if needed. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet place. No other people around to see or hear.
We really enjoyed the quiet cozy stay at Emma's Place. She provides for the expected comforts and the unexpected touches of this cozy place.
It is a great place for a get away to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area.
This place is AMAZING! It was everything we had hoped for, quiet, clean, relaxing, charming and close enough to various activities in the area. Beautiful flowers around the cottage, great place to watch the birds and wildlife. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!
We were running late to arrive and the property manager called us at 9:30PM to help guide us directly to the driveway for the cabin. Never got this treatment from anyone else. Superlative effort. Loved the space, loved the atmosphere, beautiful country and even more beautiful experience. Will be back.

Originally from R.I., I moved to Arkansas nearly 40 years ago! I recently retired from owning a wonderful little junk store of 40+ years in downtown Jasper! Now, I’ve become an avid gardener and simply enjoying retirement in one of the most beautiful locations in this country!
Why they chose this property
I purchased this property a few years ago and ironically enough, I used to live in this spot about 35 years ago and always wanted to own it! Well, it pretty much came my way and after redoing it, decided to make it into a nightly rental! It’s such a peaceful, sweet spot! Sometimes, when I drop by there to tend to the flowers, I just sit outside and enjoy the quiet!
