• Custom designed Villa in Jamestown, RI built to capture the views of Narragansett Bay and the Newport bridge!

• 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath home (Downstairs bath newly renovated feb 2021 new pictures soon!) and a brand new private outdoor cedar shower. Modern Coastal open concept first floor with 27 foot high ceilings, central AC/Heat and amazing natural light. The house is perfect to optimize both privacy as well as entertaining. You're going to love cooking and entertaining from the beautiful custom kitchen with large island and pantry. Wood burning Fire Pit, a Gas grill and a large 8 person 96" outdoor table for summer cookouts on the back patio just off dining looking out onto Narragansett Bay.

• First floor: 'Beachy Boho Bedroom' with a comfy queen size bed and ceiling fan. Half bath with brand new washer/dryer right off the bedroom. Wide open living space great for casual entertaining.

• Second floor 3 bedrooms: Upstairs step out onto your second level 400 sq foot deck from the atrium or private access from nicely proportioned king bed 'Bay View' bedroom with a sleeper sofa and ceiling fan overhead. Two more upstairs bedrooms...'The Bunk Bedroom' featuring a full size above full size bunk bed with a pullout twin mattress trundle perfect for kids/adults. The third 'Bridge View Bedroom' features a King bed along with a twin size daybed and ceiling fan. There is ample sleeping space for multiple families or larger groups. Full bath/shower as well.

• 3 of the 4 bedrooms have HD Smart tv's with easy access to Netflix/Prime etc. Main room tv is also HD Smart tv with Sonos speakers that you can easily connect your devices too. The house is very tech friendly in general with Google home, Nest thermostats, Nest security system and High speed wifi that can handle all of your group's devices. Great for remote working as well (if you have to:).

• The property has a spacious front yard on a very private street with parking that can easily accommodate 7-8 cars, a garage and a kid friendly tree swing as well:)

• The home is walking distance (about 700 yards) to center of Jamestown with access to beaches, shopping and several delicious restaurants and lunch spots. Bikes, Kayaks and SUP rentals available at Jamestown Outdoors in the center of town! https://www.jamestownoutdoors.com/.

•Also great fishing spots only 200-300 yards away at Potters Cove as well as several other spots on the island: https://www.onthewater.com/jamestown-fishing-guide

• Only an 8-10 Minute Drive/Uber/Lyft over the Newport/Pell bridge to access Newport, RI night life, shopping and restaurants. Jamestown to Newport Ferry is also a fun way to travel across the bay to Newport from the center of Jamestown (walking distance!).

Very nicely remodeled and decorated home. Walking distance to several nice restaurants and pubs in Jamestown. Short drive to many shops, restaurants, etc. in Newport. Definitely worth the stay!

We stayed for 2 nights with a dog and a 1.5 yr child. The house was very bright, airy, clean and exceptionally well organized! The kitchen is large and has every appliance we could want. The location is great as well, Jamestown is quite lovely place and if you want cheery crowds just go over the bridge to Newport which packs good restaurants. We are thankful to owners for the opportunity to stay and will be keeping this place in mind for the next trip!

Amazing stay in Jamestown
Last year, after a horrible experience on a different rental platform, I was ready to swear off vacation rentals forever. However, we switched over to VBRO and decided to try renting one more time. We chose Matt's place and I am so thankful we did. Matt's property is really amazing and was the best vacation we have had in a long time. The home is even better in person than the pictures. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked really well, and the home was close to tons of stuff. We can't recommend this property enough, and we would love to come back!

Beautiful Stay, Beautiful Weekend!
Pictures do not do this property justice! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a great room with a direct view overlooking the water. The design is beautiful, and the amenities are luxurious. Our trip was a friends trip, but this home is perfect for any type of getaway -- family vacations, couples' weekends, etc! Matt was super helpful, and I would stay here again 100%!

We really enjoyed our brief stay. The house is very comfortable and really clean. The walk into town was just the right distance and we walked in both days. The beds were very comfortable and the house is bright and airy. The communication with the owner was excellent and we did not have any issues. It did not bother us but you can hear the traffic on the bridge. The sea air more than made up for it.

Wonderful home and good location
Stayed here with my family and was very pleased. The home was as advertised, very clean and beautifully decorated. One of my family members was in a powered wheelchair and we were able to get her into the house (front and back) with two portable ramps (one small and the other medium sized) that we brought. Main floor has a one bedroom and bathroom that was accessible. We all enjoyed our stay.

Great spot to relax
We were a group of college friends celebrating a milestone birthday, and this was a great place to do it! Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The kitchen is well-equipped and Matt was very responsive to our (few) questions. The house is about a 20-minute walk from Jamestown's "downtown" and marina, but you need a car (or bike) to explore the rest of the island. Newport is a toll bridge or ferry ride away.

Graduation celebration
This home was not only beautiful and clean but had so many extra touches that made it feel like more than a rental! The hosts didn’t miss a detail. We were visiting to celebrate our son’s graduation from medical school and brought along the 4 grandparents. It was a perfect home base for all of us. The beach is a short walk we all enjoyed. The younger crowd walked into town to a cute coffee shop one day! We used the fire pit and cooked in one of the nights. Everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay and good memories!

This property is fantastic! A 5 minute walk to town, 8 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive to Newport. The pictures do not do this place justice... its gorgeous! Everything is beautifully updated...the kitchen has coffee makers, toasters and all kinds of utensils, dishes and spices. The beds are so comfy.. and the rooms are all a great size! The outdoor shower, swing, and ring game-were fam favorites here! This place is 5 Stars and the Thompsons take care of it and you can tell!

Why they chose this property

We loved the proximity to the Ocean and quiet feel of Jamestown RI while also having the easy access to the restaurants and nightlife that Newport, RI provides right across the bridge. The open and casual feel of the house was attractive to us because it was a perfect for our family.
