Enjoy the security of a quiet, gated community. Very comfortable king size bed, queen size bed, and full size sofa bed with movies to watch. There is a desk to work, a balcony off the bedroom with a nice view of the lagoon that feels like Venice, and 3 full bathrooms (2 with a soaking tubs). As good as the first time!

We really enjoyed our second stay! The kids loved swimming all day and had a lot of fun exploring all the nature on this large acreage property. We saw some gorgeous turkey vultures or hawks, the same toad we remember last year, and a really cool walking stick which they'd never seen in person before. It was a great treat! They loved feeding the fishes each day and Splash rewarded us with soft nickering when we went to visit. The sky is beautiful and allowed us to make good use of our fancy celestron binoculars. We look forward to returning for a third time!

Long weekend gateway.

Great property in gated community. Home and property very clean with separate entrance and garage. Back yard with pool, miniature golf, basketball hoop and patio all very clean. Host was GREAT! Will be renting this property again.

Perfect staycation!

It was a great escape for our kids who spent most of each day in the pool and on the waterslide. After swimming we'd walk over to the horses. The next day we'd get up and do it all again. Laura was responsive and kind. Can't wait to return in the future.

Perfect Horse Country Get Away

Very lovely property with beautiful desert and mountain views in a gated community. Host was great at communication and very accommodating. Pool and slide are amazing. Neat little putting area. Great fire pit. Close to great hiking. Some tiny nit picks, I think the pots and pans could stand to be updated, bedroom outlets weren’t working, and my wife could have used scissors in the kitchen. Overall a top notch location and a fantastic experience. Will definitely rent this beautiful place again soon and hopefully often. Fantastic!!!

Beautiful location and wonderful host

What a great place to stay. We had a wonderful week at this home in N. Scottsdale. Laura was responsive and a wonderful host. She answered any questions and encouraged us to have visitors to her beautiful property. My boys can’t wait to go back to “the home of Arizona” which is what they called it while we were there. This property was lovingly created and cared for with families in mind. There is much to do with your idle time: bird watching, swimming pool, pool table, sunsets, fire pit, greeting the horses...it allows you to leave your life far away.

Exactly what we were looking for

We were looking to get out of Minnesota for spring break and enjoy some warmer weather, and this place was perfect. Close to hiking and horseback riding, and with a great pool with a waterslide right in the backyard, our kids were never bored. Laura was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning peaceful getaway

The owner of this stunning property is quite lovely — as lovely as the home. Quaint 2 bedroom with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Kitchen and amenities we’re erythema g we needed to make ourselves at home. Amazing pool, patio and wood firpit gave us a Colorado feel in the desert

Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at this upscale ranch house. The pool table provided easy entertainment throughout the day, when we weren’t hiking or horse riding, and our daughter enjoyed feeding treats to the horses on site. Our host was very accommodating throughout.

Fabulous house rental in North Scottsdale

We absolutely loved this property, from the exterior grounds (pool, firepit, mini golf, garden, bbq, private fenced in yard for dogs) to the pool table and comfy bed - this was a perfect solution for a family of 4 and a dog. We were able to cook, relax and be close to mountain bikes, hiking trails and stores. Laura is an amazing host - and we recommend this rental and will be back in the future!!

Thanksgiving retreat

We are a family of four (two girls 12 & 15) plus a dog. This is a great property and we really enjoyed the remote location in the desert. The owner was very accommodating and attentive, and it was awesome to be able to travel with our dog. The private side yard is very convenient. The guest house has the feel of staying in someone's home, much like an in-laws' quarters. Laura was nice about keeping her dogs out of the main yard so that we could enjoy it. It is a gorgeous property. The only negative was that we didn't know the pool was not heated. The water temp was around 60, so we didn't really get to enjoy it. We took a couple runs down the slide into the chilly water, but we would have had a blast with it if the water was just a little warmer!

Better than advertised

I was looking for a relaxing Place where I could have adequate Wi-Fi for work but also access to outdoor activities as well as town. This was the perfect place, it was very comfortable and direct access to a private pool. The host, Laura, was very accommodating and super nice. I will be back

An Oasis in the desert!

We loved staying at this property. It was a cozy 2-bedroom unit, one that we were looking for. My kids 16 and 8 year old's loved being in the pool with the slides and waterfall. Laura, the owner was very accomodating with our late arrival, and other small requests and was always prompt to respond. We just wanted to get away from our daily busy work-life, cooped in our homes due to the pandemic situation and the kids did not get to enjoy the summer, so this was a special treat for them.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

Laura’s house was fantastic and Laura was super accommodating. We spent most of our time in the lagoon style pool which was exactly how a summer in Scottsdale should be spent! The slide, the waterfall & jumping rocks were a huge hit with my family. We went to see Laura’s horses a few times, played on the putting green and walked through the beautiful garden. It was a fantastic weekend away and we are excited to add Laura’s home to our saved properties for the future!

Relaxing and Secluded

Beautiful and very pet friendly place. The owner was exceptionally friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, plus more. I would be happy to stay again and would recommend this property for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet.

A beautiful, relaxing property

We came to do hiking in the area. Laura's place was a great place to come back to. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the kitchen and dining area! We bbq'd one night and sat out by the pool beforehand. It's not the warmest in the evenings in late February but it had been a beautiful day. Each morning, it was lovely watching the sunrise over the mountains. We went to the Wave Cave and also hiked the Elephant Mountain hike near Carefree. On our first full day, there was a heavy rainfall but then the sun came out. We decided to hike in the nearby Granite Mountain -- it was only a five minute drive away. Laura's property is lovely and we enjoyed looking at her two horses. One of our daughters was here for the 4 nights; the other daughter joined us for 2 nights. It would have been nice to have more comfortable seating in the living room - there are two lazy boy chairs and two dining room chairs for watching DVD's. We were aware of this beforehand, though. Just wanted to give my feedback! Thanks, Laura!

Great spot for a short or longer term stay .

Our host was great! The check in process was easy and she had fresh fruit waiting for us on arrival. We got to meet her two horses too! The home allows for beautiful views or the mountains but is also just a short drove to stores and restaurants.

Beautiful, quiet spot w sunrises to wake up for

This is a private 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment adjacent to the owner’s home. It was clean,well organized, and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for full meal prep and the owner even took the time to show detailed kitchen items and fresh eggs she stocked in the fridge. The apartment has its own garage and laundry included and access to a large backyard. We didn’t swim but the pool looks beautiful and would be lovely in slightly warmer weather. Watched the sun rise every morning from the private side patio. Any questions we had and our host was super helpful. She already had commonly asked questions and info readily available and printed up, but she’s very responsive. We were eager to rebook for our next visit, but not surprisingly, the spot was already booked! If you are looking for January to March - book early!! Enjoy!

Wonderful equestrian estate getaway

This place was wonderful and so was Laura. The home is exquisite and the home had a great old world charm to it. The entire place was well designed and was a very fitting NE Scottsdale experience. NE Scottsdale has such an upper class country feel and this home depicted it perfectly. Laura made sure the place was stocked and made us feel at home. My mom was able to visit the horses and experience a little taste of NE Scottsdale living.

Clean, well maintained. Very secure. complete privacy. Like staying at home.

Laura was very accommodating, gave us our privacy yet was only a text away if we needed anything. Upon arrival she made sure we were settled in and asked if we needed anything additional. Supplied us with remote openers for gate and garage upon arrival. Gave us a personal tour of property. Our wing of the house was completly private and secure. She had brochures of restaurants and other attractions located in the area with directions, which was valuable. She introduced us to her family pets, made sure we were comfortable with them. They were a absolute pleasure and my wife and I enjoyed visiting with them. Back yard was professional landscaped with beautiful pool, (a little cold for our visit in april) putting green, fire pit, and viking outdoor grill (which we used often) Covered patio, table and chairs made relaxing easy. Large flat wall mounted TV With satellite coverage and she had a abundance of DVDs to watch if you desired. Pool table was in great shape and very enjoyable. Kitchen had all ammedies you would need for your personal use. Bathroom was clean and accomadating. Private garage was nice for car or storing personal items. Guest bedroom was fully furnished with twin beds which we did not use but very accomadating. The surrounding area was extremly quiet. Golf in the area was fantastic. Great courses and were in perfect condition. Grand Canyon National park was a 3 1/2 hr drive but was worth it. Pappian helicopter tour was amazing over the canyon. The drive to Sedona was approximently 2 hrs but also well worth it. We stayed for two weeks and never once felt uncomfortable. Great resturants in area as well. Be as adventurest as you like or just stay at the house and you will enjoy your stay. Jackie and Bob M.

Beautiful property

The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Wonderful pool and patio area, close to hiking areas, restaurants are just a few miles away or you can grill out. The owner has dogs, but Laura made sure we knew the patio area was ours to use and that was not a problem. We will stay there again.

It is loaded with upgrades like thick, solid wood doors, triple edge granite, and stone floors. It is immaculately clean and as you would expect to have at a 5 star hotel it has very comfortable beds. A good night's sleep in a comfortable bed in a quiet part of town can make all the difference for enjoying yourself on vacation.
