About this property

ComfyDome Pond-Side Glamping , Dome

If you're a first-time glamper, a semi-retired camper (and you don’t want to deal with a tent or sleep on the ground), or just looking for a quick overnight getaway, ComfyDome is the perfect choice! ComfyDome is an off-grid glampground designed for those who seek comfort and convenience without sacrificing the experience of being in nature.
Each dome is equipped with solar power, which can run most small appliances. Solar reduces our carbon footprint and minimizes our impact on the planet. Our solar energy system, while significant, can sometimes be unpredictable on cloudy days. To keep our guests comfortable during peak temperatures, we have installed shade traps that can be opened or closed as needed.

We strive to embody the essence of glamping: glamorous camping in nature. Our focus is on immersing our guests in the natural environment and allowing them to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them. Nature is the heart of our existence, and we think it should be enjoyed in its purest form.
Please note that your pricing will reflect our Blue Sheets Club pricing! Here's the scoop: Guests can snag a fantastic discount on their stay by bringing their own bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows, shower towels, etc.) or just a sleeping bag and pillow. It’s however you roll. If you choose to use our full-service feature (which includes all bedding), a $95 fee will be added to your trip for bedding.
ComfyDome amenities:
It’s time for a digital detox! Although the main house has Wi-Fi, we are off-grid to help guests connect with nature.
Great pricing and dynamite customer service!
Fully heated (October-May)
Sunshade that covers the dome (Late May - October)
Comfortable and clean accommodation!
Usage of our private 13-acre grounds!
Fire pit and two styles of grills!
Solar power for small items (charge your phone, laptop, and run a fan)
Outdoor chairs and a small side table
Outdoor umbrella shade
Picnic Table
Firewood onsite (for sale)
Shared bathroom facility and outdoor shower open 24/7 from June-October.
World famous (according to my daughter) homemade Maine blueberry muffins and coffee on the last day of your trip!
Add-Ons available:
- Kayak rentals $40 per guest per trip
- Inflatable paddle boards $40 per guest per trip (Availability limited)
- Camp cooking equipment $25 per night (only two available per stay)
What's included: Deluxe campfire grill, cooking utensils, pots, frying pans, cutting boards, mixing bowls, plates, BBQ Grill Gloves, Cutting gloves, Knives, and dishwashing station. The best part is when you're all done at the end of your trip; we will clean it all up!
- Space Package 127mm telescope, which is perfect for exploring the moon, and the SkyMaster 15x70 Astronomy Binoculars w/ tripod is ideal for the stars! $30 per stay
- Coffee and Cast-iron breakfast cake (for 2 people) $20
- Glamping games: Corn hole, Giant Jenga, and Ring Toss! Have fun all day long with the best yard games ever! $20 per day (only 2 available per stay)
What to bring:
(Summer clothes, bug spray, sunscreen, cooler, food, phone chargers, and toiletries)
What we provide in toiletries (We provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner)
We love and welcome pets! Please make sure to complete the pet waiver before arrival. https://waiver.smartwaiver.com...
- Nestled snugly beside our enchanting frog and turtle pond, the Pond-Side Dome offers a one-of-a-kind retreat throughout the year. Enjoy spectacular night sky views and breathe in the crisp, refreshing air. Gaze upward while lying in bed, and you'll be treated to a stunning display! With natural beauty encompassing you from all angles and ample open space, you can savor your glampsite with complete comfort and ease!

I am Seth Fraser, the Founder of ComfyDomeGlamping, and I am fueled by my passion for the great outdoors, delivering exceptional customer service, and crafting unforgettable memories for our valued guests. My journey with ComfyDome began when I recognized a need for change in the vacation industry. The traditional vacation model often entails traveling to a single location, staying there for an entire week, investing a significant amount of money in a standard room, and if fortunate, having a small budget remaining for an adventure. Throughout my years of traveling with my family, I experienced this monotony firsthand. Halfway into our vacations, we often grew weary of the same surroundings and regretted spending a substantial amount of money. Motivated by these experiences, I established ComfyDome as a solution to these vacation challenges. I wanted to offer something different and more fulfilling. Our mission is to provide an extraordinary glamping experience that combines comfort, nature, and adventure. We believe that true adventure lies in embracing the beauty of nature and discovering new horizons. Our aim is to offer an alternative vacation experience that breaks free from the conventional mold. So join us at ComfyDomeGlamping and embark on an extraordinary journey where comfort, nature, and adventure converge.

What makes this property unique

We embrace the concept of slow travel! Our emphasis lies not in the multitude of amenities one can imagine, but in the abundance of nature one can experience. Picture yourself waking up leisurely in the morning, basking in the gentle warmth of the sun on your face while the melodious birdsong fills the air. You can begin your day by kindling a fire and preparing a delightful breakfast. Afterwards, immerse yourself in a refreshing swim in the nearby lake or embark on a rejuvenating hike through one of the numerous nature preserves that surround us.
