About this property

One-bedroom house with historical tunnel. Has a full equipped kitchen. It has a private spacious courtyard and garden. It has also private parking area for your car. Ground floor, no stairs to access to the rooms. Modern bathroom. 1 kilometer away from Urgup town center. 5 minute walk to best restaurants of Urgup.

My house is highly recommended to the honeymoon couples and to those who are looking for privacy! From its private terrace and garden, you enter through the cave-kitchen of dramatic darkish volcanic stone flecked with white to a master bedroom with a high arched stone-cut ceiling and an adjoining cave sitting area. The room has a king-size bed. The house has a spacious cave bathroom with twin rain fall shower heads. Behind a "mystery door" is the entrance to a 17th-century water tunnel carved through the volcanic rock for a distance of 16 km (10 miles)! (With a flashlight, you can penetrate the tunnel for a few dozen meters.)The house has a full equipment kitchen and its own private terrace, wireless Internet.

Hi, I am Suha Ersoz, your host! I graduated from a law school but decided to stay in Cappadocia after working in tourism in the area. In 1987, I bought my first house in Urgup, and over the past 25 years, I have bought, renovated, and restored the adjacent 15 other houses with stone and cave rooms. I combined some of these houses to make the first cave hotel in Cappadocia, and renting 7 of them as entire houses through Vrbo..
