The Space:
After parking in the garage marked “C,” attached to the larger building here (home to other short term rental spaces) walk a few feet to the north to the separate cottage. You’re home! Enter through the front and into a clean, bright, modern space just recently renovated. The main living room here is comfortable and inviting, with a big TV and couch just ready for a night in. There’s also a table here for dining, with seating for (4). We have also updated the internet

Further into the cottage is the kitchen, fully functional and ready for your culinary creations. The cabinets, the surfaces, the appliances are all stylish and modern and there’s plenty of space here to entertain, as well as to create! Just past the kitchen is a rear door that leads to a little outdoor space.

The cottage’s single bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable queen, appointed with quality linens, professionally laundered. There’s a desk here too … so work, if you must! With plenty of storage, this is a very practical room, able to support a couple, comfortably. Finally, the single bathroom is inviting and ready for business!

With an exceptional location near to so much Colorado Springs GOODNESS, and an inviting, comfortable new renovation, this home has the location and the interior amenities to satisfy even discriminating visitors and guests. Guest Access:
Guests are granted complete access to the entire cottage unit and one car garage parking. For your convenience, a self-check-in system is in place, facilitated by a smart lock that utilizes an exclusive code designated solely for your use.

We cannot guarantee an early check-in before 4pm as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please message us on the day of your arrival to see if the property is ready no earlier than 2pm.

Check-in Process: All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
1. I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
2. I acknowledge that I will be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card through our online portal prior to check in.

Although restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, parks and other attractions are located within walking distance to this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted our team before check-in.

This property maintains a no-pet policy for the comfort and convenience of all our guests.

Type of Cooling for the Home
AC Mini Split. Thermostats on walls are only for controlling baseboard heat, they do not work the AC. You'll need to use mini splits.

Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.

-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.

The bed was an issue because it was so far off the floor. You literally need a step ladder to "climb" onto the bed. We encountered more than once, the/a guest in unit A, standing on the porch, smoking weed!!! (was very nauseating) The bathroom & bathroom sink was very awakward , small, & outdated. Looked like the bathroom had not be cleaned in who knows how long, especially the black floor. Kitchen was ok. To our understanding, there were renovations done? Not sure where they were. The neighborhood was not the best. We lost count at the number of homeless people seen pushing thier shopping carts on Vermijo street alone.The stackable washer & dryer was the best part, so we are thankful it was there. Good choice for long or short stay

I was pleased to be close to town full of unique stores and restaurants. House is easy to accommodate 1- 3 persons, with great kitchen. Bathroom is quite small, though. Felt safe in the area and night noise level was OK.

Spider infested

I’m from Florida and I’m familiar with spiders but this place was the worst. Spiders came out every night and even thru the day. Mainly in the bathroom but pull the couch out and you’ll find more there. Neighborhood was weird. Right on a trail so you will have random people walking up and down all hours of the day and night. Ac was hit or miss. Would not recommend if you are alone or afraid of spiders

Visiting Colorado Springs area

Totally enjoyed our stay. Unit C was clean and very well decorated, with a large kitchen and lots of storage space in the bedroom. Location was excellent within walking distance to Colorado Ave and the shops and restaurants of Old Colorado City. Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods just up the road. Only issue was the outer glass door outside the front door was damaged and would not close properly. But we didn't need to use that door, we came in through the back entrance by the driveway. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would stay here again.

Nice stay

In town for about 3 days. Location was convenient to get to all the places we wanted to go. Looks like the neighborhood is going through a transition and resurgence. Good to see.

Loved it!

We enjoyed this property so much, we extended our stay an extra night. The owner was quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. The house was clean, access was easy and the location was perfect. We were 5 mins from everything we wanted to do - Pikes Peak, the Manitou Incline (we did it!), Cliff Dwellings and Garden of the Gods. We walked to Old Colorado City (OCC) for diner and could see pikes peak from the house! This property offers a private garage, but our F150 would fit. We didn’t mind because the driveway itself is off the road enough and very private. Over all, we loved it! We felt safe, comfortable and it was very convenient to so many things. I plan on using them again when we go back!

The house is small with a very homey feeling. Everything is updated with a new upper-class feel.1 bed 2 batg was perfect for the 2 of us. Located 2 blocks off of Colorado Ave with shop's restaurants and entertainment. 1 hour feom pikes peak summit 5 min from garden of the gods. I will be staying here again

Great Location

Very clean house and nicely updated. Walking distance to shops and food. Very close to Red Rock and Garden of the Gods. WIFI was a little spotty and bathroom very small with extremely bright lights, but neither inconvenienced us. Felt very safe in the home. Would definately stay again.

Good location, poor quality

The location is good for proximity to the restaurants and shops. When we arrived the front screen door was broken and I suspect it had been that way for awhile. It wouldn’t close so we couldn’t get light or air. The air conditioner leaked in the bedroom, so we kept it off. The unit in the living room did not get very cold. The kitchen is big and well furnished, however, the bathroom is about the size of a camper bathroom. Thankfully we were there when it was cool, I imagine the place could be miserable in excessive heat. We won’t stay again.

Poorly managed when we had a a drain issues with the kitchen sink and laundry service. Reported immediately and still not a sole called back or came by to address the issue which actually made our trip more of a chore than relaxing and comfortable. We had to do our laundry at a laundry mat and eat out every meal due to not being able to do the dishes or washing our clothes.

Great place, true to the pictures online. Location is two blocks from main drag of Old Colorado City - very pedestrian friendly, lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Garage parking! Easy access to everything we wanted. Overall: Excellent. Highly recommend. Two notes: the bed is a good 3 or 4 inches higher than most tall beds. The garage is good for a standard full size SUV, but may not be wide enough for a Suburban-size.

Nice little spot in Old Colorado Springs

We enjoyed our stay here but did have a few things we wanted to mention. WiFi is pretty awful. My husband was working and had to hotspot off of his phone. TV wouldn’t work part of the time because of the poor internet. The dishwasher was not working. Door code didn’t work when we arrived but the friendly lady I called quickly reset it. Also, the baseboard in the doorway between living room and bedroom has a nail sticking up. All that being said, we would stay here again and recommend people to stay here!
