Akita and Rei were great hosts. Their house was fully stocked with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The house was located at a quiet neighborhood. You could walk to the beach and fishing port. We met locals who were really nice to lend us fishing poles for our stay. You could feel the real Japanese daily life and hospitality during the stay. Highly recommended for travelers who love experiencing the Japanese culture.

Wonderful rural experience and Rei and Akira where such fantastic hosts. A real treat to get to stay in a traditional Japanese lodging. Private beach front with incredible sunsets!! Thank you!
Amazing hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome! Guesthouse is located just a few minutes ride from one of the bridges on the Shiminamik Kaido bike route. Lots of beds and a nice warm fireplace to help dry our wet shoes and clothes from riding. No restaurants or grocery store nearby so bring food. We had taken longer than anticipated to get there due to rain and the hosts were gracious enough to take us to the grocery store! Wonderful little shrine just a few houses away too
