Overall, place had a beautiful view. there are plenty of places to chill out. The dogs wake up early.

A place with potential if it get fix.

Is not a bad place it just need some fixing. The fist thing this is the second time I stay the first was in the RV. About the RV was not clean and ready at the time of the check in, the stove don't work to good and the little oven take forever to heat. most Vrbo that I stay have everything in the kitchen this was was not good equipment. The apartment I this is a good apartment is just need some stuff to fix. The first thing the bathroom have just 1 toilet paper that was not even full was almost done and it was not a new one in the bathroom in the last day we needed to clean in the bath. Second in the kitchen was a cup with some alcohol drink I think was margarita or something of someone that was before us what it tell me was not clean good. Third the fridge was off and it take 12 to 24 hr to get cool what it mean most of the food we bring for 3 day almost get bad if we didn't buy two bag of ice and was some bad eggs in the fridge already and the kitchen need to have be more stuff to be able to cook the point of Vrbo is be able to don't bring to much . In my husband and mine room we found some rose pedals and a Vaseline in the bed what it tell me our bed was not been clean either. Fourth the BBQ outside work but we needed to connected in the room since the outlet outside didn't work. Fifth the place don look nothing like the picture there are old pictures they need to put new ones. The last thing I don't mine charring my space but sometime you looking for a place with privacy and just be you family. Is a lot of more Vrbo around is like 5 or 6 and everyone is there was not space on the outside in front of the pool because the other people have all the BBQ, fire pit and a lot of stuff I don't find that far if is almost 5 to 6 how is just family taking all the space and pool in the descriptions have to say is multiples Vrbo so you can go with that in mind. I think is a place it can be a lot better since the view is beautiful and the pool is not bad is the only thing we enjoy a little. If get fix I thing it have potential but in my personal opinion I feel disappointed and is been the worse of the Vrbo so far. I feel the charge of $30 for cleaning was not far since was not clean properly for us. My family and me will never stay again.

Dog Rescue Kennels on site

I don't know why the previous reviews did not mention the owner and property is the site of a dog rescue. There are 60 or more dogs in ouside kennels to the side of the lodging, and more dogs in the area under the lodging. The result is dog barking that sounds like a visit to the local shelter. Any time you make a noise on the porch or walk a few steps from the stairs, a wild chorus of barking erupts. This barking from so many dogs gets tiring, disrupts sleep (one bedroom window faces the kennels), and ruins the otherwise peaceful scenery. Even our pet dogs became scared and nervous to go to the bathroom outside because of the deafening barking when the kennel dogs spotted them. On the positive, The owner is very sweet and helpful. The inside accommodation is exactly as cute as pictured in the photos.

Would not recommend!

My husband and I opened the door and were hit with intense urine smell and pet odor. It was so strong we could not even bring our 6 month old baby into the unit. We could not stay in the unit for more than a few minutes. We were stuck trying to find alternative accommodations for the night. The last review stated similar issues, but the owner replied that they had addressed all of them. They urine smell has not been addressed. I cannot recommend this property to anyone. The unit was tidy and cute, it’s a shame that it has had such terrible odor. We have requested a refund for the night since we didn’t stay.

Horrible Experience

I wouldn't suggest anyone stay here. The room has a strong smell of urine. I don't think the septic tank has been serviced because the smells like sulfur she provides bottled water but who would want to shower in that. The property has trash piles around the house. The room didn't feel comfortable at all. Rugs have stains or just dirty not sure the same with pillows on the couch. I didn't even get in bed all night it was so uncomfortable. She did refund me for four nights because I left the next day. I have never given a review to any place but I feel this placed needed it.

Great place to fet away!

The view from the porch and the observation deck made the stay. The bed was ultra comfortable and clean. The owner was sweet and very accomadating. We enjoyed our stay!

Quiet, scenic peaceful getaway

Very peaceful, quiet getaway. Great outdoor deck enjoyed by our little puppy. Owner very nice and attentive, went out of her way to make sure you were taken care of. Place had everything you needed along with a very comfortable bed and direct TV plus she recently added an above ground pool which is a nice addition especially in the heat of Texas. Place stayed very cool which is nice as temperatures were in the mid 90s. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Anca.

Great place and very clean. Felt like a home away from home!

Amazing place with amazing views. View quaint and private. Perfect location to town but felt like you were a million miles away. Very clean and host was extremely friendly and was very tentative. A perfect getaway for the weekend and is pet friendly. Walking down to the creek was beautiful and not very far. So serene and peaceful. I will definitely be staying here again.
