Great Value & Location for a Studio Ski In/Out,
This was a decent studio room, that was clean & comfortable, just a few steps from the Quicksilver lift and downtown Breck. It is an older property but well maintained. It was an excellent value for one or two people and I would give it five stars based on the value. It would be tight with a couple kids in the sofa bed, but doable. The bathroom was clean and big enough for two people. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and functional, with nice granite countertops, coffee maker and all the necessities. There were no extras besides paper towels, soap & salt/pepper, so be sure to bring what you need. Parking is limited, but I had no problem finding a spot this trip. Check in /checkout was reasonably painless, except having to stop by the office on Main Street to check in. Overall, this is a really good ski in / ski out location with a decent hot tub and pool facility. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. It is a better value than other hotels in the area, at least on this trip. Especially if you're going to cook your own breakfast or other meals. other meals.

The village at Breckenridge
Short walk to ski lift , nice pools , hot tubs , steam room , and sauna . Kitchen and bathroom nice . On the negative side , the room was pretty cramped for three people , also parking garage was very limited for spots available .

Everything is very old! I don’t cook in the kitchen so I don’t really care much about the kitchen…I book 6 nights. But I only Stay two nights there , cause is very smelly and I can hear everything from my next door neighbor…I went over to Marriott mountain village and stay with my mom… the location are the best!

Beautiful view great location!
Very close to everything you can walk everywhere great location especialy if you are here to ski. I believe ski rentals are across the street and the lift is close you can see it from the window. The Breckenridge ski class for kids is soo close you can see the kids practice out the window if you have little ones thats something fun for them to do. There are many other activities to do as well if you dont want to ski. There are other things to do you can go snow tubing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, go on a horse drawn sleigh ride, or walk to all the places on Main St. there are places to eat or shop. The condo is a nice efficient condo with a beautiful view of the ski mountain. The kitchen is updated with granite countertops beautiful view from the kitchen as well it has everything you need full size stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher that way you can buy groceries if you like and have some meals there. We only went out to eat once a day saved alot of money that way and still enjoyed going out to eat and enjoyed warm cozy meals at the condo as well enjoying the beautiful mountain view. Bathroom has a very effecient layout each space has a separate door inside the bathroom a seperate door to tub/shower combo, separate door to toilet and 2 sinks so 2 people can get ready at the same time and dont have to wait on 1 person to use the bathroom at a time thats a plus with one bathroom. There is one sofa and a chair and 3 stools to eat at the kitchen counter. The tv swivels so you can watch from the kitchen or living space there is cable so plenty of free movies. The bed is a queen size I believe and it is tucked in a nook as you walk into the condo facing the living area and the view of the mountains is very nice to wake up to. The condo was cozy and warm to come into after our long drive in. There is temperature controls inside the condo if you get too toasty and a box fan in the closet if you need. There is a laundry room on the same floor just need to download an app posted on the washing and drying machine to use it. The only thing is the bed has a topper on it that I believe was put on top to make the bed more comfortable it wasnt bad just have to be careful it makes the bed much higher. The only thing that would make the condo perfect is updated furniture it wasnt bad though. A new sofa with headrest and a rocking reclining chair next to it and a new firm memmory foam mattress would make the condo perfect!

Same Song, Second Verse
After I located this listing, so I could write this review, I noticed the existing review from December 2016. Would it be plagiarism if I simply re-wrote it word-for-word to describe my February 2016 stay?! I completely agreed with the writers comments about location and view; both are great. Agree that the place is very dated (more on that later), but my main complaint is also the bed and bedding. Since we skied ALL day and ate out at night, most of our "condo time" was for sleeping, which was hard to do, given the ANCIENT and TERRIBLE mattress and bedding, including cheap sheets, horribly old pillows, piled-up blankets, etc. IT'S ALL AWEFUL, just as prior reviewer noted. The only call out I have with respect to the prior review it that I don't know how his wife managed to sleep at all on the sleeper sofa, as that "mattress" was, even to my 11 year old, AWFUL as well! It, too, had to at LEAST 20 years old. I don't think there is such a thing as a "good" sleeper, but this was the worst of the worst that I've encountered. I also agreed with limited kitchen-ware, as well as noise and cooking smells that drifted into the unit from the connecting condo. Come on, for $10 the owner or manager could buy two decent wine glasses, the contents of which could dull one's senses as to the fact that you're stuck in this particular unit. I realize it seems like over kill, but other negatives to the unit: Cleanliness was sketchy at best. The plastic shower liner was GROSS at the bottom (rust colored, yucky something... again those plastic liners are a whooping $10). While the "shower room" and "toilet closet" were tiled, the "sink area" was carpeted and again had a high "yuck" factor. The dish washer was loosely set in the cabinet, but not really secured or aligned with the cabinets, which were very old and in need of repair. Cheap and very dated furniture. The decor, while not affecting functionality of the unit, is a ghastly mish-mash of styles (think wall art of still-life vase of roses; a rustic, western motif lamp, mauve colored kitchen accent tiles (unlike many of you, I'm old enough to remember when mauve existed and was popular . . . Trust me, it was a LONG time ago and a bad idea then). Bottom Line, it appears that every thing in the unit is original to the condo, and Village at Breck is at least 20+ years old. Renter Beware!!! There are much better studios to be rented in the Village at Breck.

I would only stay here again if it were the only place left in Breckenridge.
The location is great and the view from the unit is nice. The overall condition of the place is dated but ok. The issue that my wife and I had was mainly with the bed, IT'S AWEFUL!!! I don't know how to stress this enough. We stayed in the unit for five nights and after the second night my wife started sleeping on the couch. The mattress is so worn out that the bed sinks about 8 inches from the center to the edges when you lay in it. Also, for some weird reason, the bed is on an angle so your feet are always about 4 inches higher than your head. The pillows provided no support and the sheets were very cheap. I woke up every hour through the night and never got a good night's sleep. The bed is just a full size so the cost to replace this would be minimal so I'm confused as to why it wasn't replaced years ago!!!! If I had to estimate the age of the matress based on its condition, I would say it's over 20 years old just like everything else in the unit. Also, there was only one drinking glass and only a four sets of mismatching utensils to eat with. The unit also has a connecting door to the unit next door that gave us the pleasure of hearing everything conversation that the neighbors had as well as being able to smell everything that they were cooking. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
