It was a cute little Cottage. It is small. Seating was limited even for three people. The main bed is very uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on the couch. Overall it served it's purpose and it is in walking distance to the main part of town. The beach isn't that far to get to either.
This Cottage is located in a very convenient location in Lincoln city. It's just half a block off of the main road but the street is very quiet with no noise from the highway. If you need coffe there is a coffee shop a few steps away. If you want to hit the beach there is access within walking distance. A variety of shops and restaurants are within walking distance as well.
The cottage is nice and cozy. Ideal for a couple or smaller family.
We were quite impressed by the location and cleanliness of the property. We decided to extend our stay by a day because the beach felt so good, as this is our first extended trip after two years of pandemic restrictions. We definitely will come back in the not too distant future.
It was great for a getaway for my wife & I. The only thing I would like to see is get a different loveseat that would fit right across from the TV instead of to the side of it or have a pull out swivel for the TV. Everything else was great. I.

Creeped out
Didn’t particularly like the house when we got there and was smaller than we thought. After spending the afternoon there we went to dinner. Upon returning that night we decided we were uncomfortable staying in this house. While we were inside gathering our stuff someone had showed up and was inside the detached garage by our car. We promptly loaded the car and went to stay at a hotel. Were we overreacting, probably, but we already had a bad feeling and weren’t gonna be proved right.
overall the stay was good! we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the cottage each day as we had other plans around the coast. the cottage is a little smaller than i anticipated but it worked for our family of 3. the bathroom as well as kitchen was well stocked, my only complaint was that there was no coffee provided but we made due with the amazing coffee shop at the end of the road!
The house was smaller than I expected, but was a perfect fit for a Mother/Daughter getaway. It was an easy walk to the beach access, but lots of steps going down and a litlle bit more difficult coming back up!
Pluses: The house was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking our meals. It was comfortable for just the two of us.
Minuses: The TV was in a difficult place to be able to have 2 people sit comfortably on the couch and watch it. (Size and shape of the house would make it difficult to have it anyplace else.) You had to walk through the main bedroom to get to the only bathroom. The loft got pretty hot.
Overall our experience was good. Thanks so much. :)
This property is definitely cozy. The couch/tv situation is as described. But if you are here to be close to shops and the beach, the location is great. The walk to beach access isn’t far on the way down (although getting up the stairs or the hill is a bit of a trek when you’re done). Our kids enjoyed the bed/trundle in the loft but the steps led them through the only bedroom to get to the only bathroom during the night. The shower was not great (low pressure, low height for the faucet, no tub) so the adults went without. The temperature control was great during a hot weekend. Worth the visit. Know that it is small and privacy is limited.

I won’t stay again had many issues!
The hot water didn’t work. Luckily on day 2 they sent maintenance and it was fixed. We saw lot of dead bugs. The heater/ AC unit was highly confusing to operate. The tv didn’t work due to internet connection the internet was very unstable and spotty. Don’t rely on the internet working. Fair warning the upstairs is meant for kids the ceilings are low down so you bump your head easily. The kitchen was ok there wasn’t many extra supplies to use but that was expected. Overall all not totally miserable but pretty uncomfortable and things weren’t very clean. The “clean” dishes had food left on them.
It was a lot smaller than we thought. Could use some new mattresses and toilet needs fixed. It was pretty clean and liked how close it was to the beach.
This was a last-minute selection on a last-minute trip and we were delighted. It was clean, cozy and perfect for us and our two small children. The walk to the beach was manageable with two kids along streets without high traffic. We also opted for a home this time instead of a hotel so we could avoid social contact during COVID and it was tucked away as we like. It was easily in walking distance to Reed's - the candy shop I've spend my whole life going to.
With another high-profile booking agency on the coast we've had to provide nearly all our toiletries - from toilet paper to dish soap to laundry soap. This was all provided with plenty of amount and helped us avoid the stores. It was nice not to have to worry about dealing with that with two small kids in tow.
In addition, it feels like somewhat of a new rental so there were a few things that it lacked such as drinking glasses and wine glasses. The rental agency checked in on us and I asked if that was possible. The maintenance team made a quick trip to the dollar store and delivered the times. A small investment made a big difference - it is the little things. It felt above and beyond.
I would make one simple change and rearrange the living room to have the couch on the entry wall to face the TV so to make it more comfortable and not sideways watch.
Otherwise the home, location and decor was lovely and we will be coming back. The home and agency quickly became our go-to pick for the coast.
