Beautiful home
We had a great stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t use half the house, it’s massive! It’s in a really beautiful area and a few minutes drive to the beach. Very easy check in and host was accommodating. Thanks!!

Beautiful property.
We loved staying at the property, the interior and exterior of the house were amazing. It had a truly homey feeling. The appliances in the kitchen were amazing, everything you would need was there, it was just like cooking in your own home. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful home in all ways. Only problem was the fencing is not dog friendly as discussed.

Weekend away
The house and property offer privacy, peace and class. The house is beautifully furnished, has everything you may need for a short or long stay and more than enough room. It’s located a minute drive from the town centre and few minutes from the beach. Thank you Nina for allowing us to have this experience.

Magnificent!
This property is a magnificent piece of living history with its high ceilings and large rooms. It is immaculately maintained with an excellent modern kitchen. It is just as presented in the photos. Just a stroll to cafes and shops and a little further stroll to the beautiful Normanville beach. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. We loved our time at Weldbank and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!

Lovely location
Lovely old house sympathetically modernised. While pets accepted I am glad we didn’t take our dog as there was no secure fencing. Cleaning spider webs and nests needs doing as well as other pest control. Also towels could be renewed as several were stained and well used.

Everything we could think to need was there.
We simply packed clothes, computers, food and fur baby supplies and everything else was there. Loved the old furniture etc. felt like visiting my great grandma on the farm :) So glad there was extension cords/ power boards and long HDMI. Made our electronic entertainment easy. We didn't use lounge or dining as there was no TV in there. Would could imagine having fire burning and watching TV while playing a multiplayer game on our computers on a cold winters night. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/living area. Having some kind of shade on the doors to the decking would have made it more comfortable as the glare of the wall outside is very strong. We found the master bed bit small (with two fur babies) but we pushed singles together in last bedroom and all was good. Toilet seat in main bathroom desperately need fixing/replacing. Light near lawn area would have been nice. Would have been great if the lawn area was fenced so we could let fur babies out when kangaroos/wildlife are visiting. They stick around for several hours making it hard to allow dogs to go toilet. Just a suggestion for people with small dogs (they easily fit through all other fencing making it hard to relax when outside) Garden around house has so much potential. Was sad to see so many big weeds. Was very disappointed in the Chinese and was so looking forward to it. Would have loved to go for a walk but as the driveway was so uneven, husband could not wheel down it at all.

Lovely property on great location
This is a lovely house with new kitchen and main bathroom easy walking distance to Normanville shops and local sites. Great garden location with established fruit trees and local wildlife. Barry and Nina were very helpful and welcoming. Our teenage son and his friend would have liked wifi but had other means of internet access and were able to get to the shops and beach easily. Our cats loved the grounds and were bemused by the kangaroos. My husband and I found our stay relaxing. Very comfortable house with lots of space for 2 adults, 2 teens and pets.

Stay at Normanville historical home.
This comfortable historical house, that would have been a substantial country home and working farm in its day, is well set out for larger groups with two indoor eating areas and an outside deck area also with table and chairs. Lots of old furniture in situ. Well set up and modern kitchen. There is a shearing shed to wander through. 10 minute walk into town shopping centre and pub. House is set well off the road. Quick responses from owner, Nina.

Great family holiday
Wonderful old house with brand new kitchen and large bedrooms. The kids loved the size of the yard and riding their scooters on the concrete drive. Only downside is no pergola over the deck but other than that everything’s was terrific.

Why they chose this property

There are 4 acres of land available for you, your friends, family and fur babies to enjoy. The ability to bring your horses and ride them, also having access to the nearby beach makes this property unique.

This property was first built in 1865, was one of the first homes established within this area.
