THE SPACE

The Homestead & Cottage can accommodate up to 16. The optional Caretakers Lodge (additional fee applies) brings this up to 20 adults.

Homestead Sleeping arrangements:

1 x Bedroom with a Queen Bed and a Full Bathroom ensuite
2 x Bedrooms with a Queen Bed
1 x Bedroom with 2 Double Beds.

The Cottage offers a private retreat 20m away from the main house, and is self contained with a bathroom, lounge & kitchenette.
2 x Bedrooms with a Queen bed
1 x Queen bed in the lounge - perfect for extra kids or a couple.

Caretaker's Lodge:

1 x Bedroom with a Double Bed and a Full Bathroom ensuite
1 x Bedroom with Single Bunk Bed

COVID-FRIENDLY CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand the uncertainty of the current times and the unpredictable nature of travel restrictions at the moment. Our COVID cancellation policy is based around changes made by the NSW Government. For bookings made as of 22 Dec 21:

If regional travel within NSW is banned, i.e. travel to the Hunter Valley from within NSW is banned, then we will reschedule your stay to an equivalent set of dates, or provide a full refund. We cannot account for restrictions placed by other state governments, or the individual circumstances of each guest (e.g. if they are located in what becomes a hot-spot, or are required to isolate) please take this into account prior to booking.

NOISE:

Our house is perfect for families get together!

The property is located in a rural residential area and the council regulates noise after 10pm, to ensure the valley stays quiet and neighbours aren’t disturbed.

SECURITY:
We have security cameras monitoring the external areas of the property for security purposes.

There is a host of outdoor play equipment, including a climbing tree, zipline, art and games shed, swings, ninja line, seesaw and 2 storey playgym. Usage is at the guest's risk and children must be supervised at all times by adults.

Amazing stay. Loved everything about it!!
Honestly the best service for a holiday home we have had. Host was available to help with taking my calls instantly anytime of the day or night for any help we needed. So many activities available withing the property that kept all the adults and kids entertained for our stay. No need to leave the property for entertainment. Also had animals surrounding that the kids loved.

A Spectacular Property & Super Helpful Host
We stayed at the property the night before and of my wedding. It was absolutely spectacular and suited all ages. For the kids it had a pool, soccer nets, a see-saw, and some very impressive play equipment. It’s a huge space with two seperate buildings (perfect for us, as we had one for the bridesmaids and one for family). Our host, David, was extremely helpful and accomodating. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic place, exceeded expectations and owners were incredibly easy to communicate with!
Would highly recommend this property for the perfect getaway for groups of couples / families. House was so clean and has everything you could utilise and more! Much bigger open space than I could have imagined so whilst we didn’t have kids there, would definitely consider coming back with the kids to enjoy the outdoors!! Owner was lovely and incredibly easy to communicate with as well which always makes for a smooth holiday you can plan in advance!

Everything you could hope for and more!
Las Palmas Hunter Valley is the most amazing property. It is exactly as advertised with a few surprise additions that were very welcomed, including a small soccer field in the yard and a large outdoor fire pit. We were a bridal party that stayed at the property for the weekend and we couldn't be happier with our stay. David helped us throughout the entire booking and check-in process to make it a seamless experience, and the property itself was very clean, tidy and well maintained. David also assisted with returning some items that were left at the property after we checked out! All in all, a great experience and would definitely recommend for large groups.

Wow! Beautiful property!
We stayed for 2 nights here as a group of 20 women and the property was perfect. It’s in a great location with Emma’s Cottage and Stomp wines next door. The property was ideal for our group as there was enough space to relax and chill out with the large main living area perfect for a catered dinner cooked on premises for us. David was great to communicate with and made our booking so easy - thank you! We highly recommend & would love to stay again in the future!

Great family getaway!
Great for family, we had 8 adults and 7 grandchildren 1-8 who enjoyed the playground as they called it. The pool was a big hit. The house was well stocked for a family with toys and games for the grandchildren. The kitchen well thought out and had everything we needed,plenty of plates glasses, kids plates cutlery etc. The main living area and kitchen is a great huge space for a large family group. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time we visit.

We had an amazing week at this property in Lovedale The house was so clean on our arrival. The location was really brilliant with many wineries very close by. The house had everything we needed to cater for 15 people and there was ample space. David was lovely to deal with and very easy to contact.

Amazing property with beautiful views
We were a family of 12 including kids. We all had a great time. Pool is amazing. House is really spacious with all you need there. Property was really neat and clean. David as a host been amazing with always responding to your queries straightaway. We will definitely go back.

Great house, perfect location
My family and I, plus partners (9 adults total) stayed here for 4 days to celebrate my 60th birthday. Weather wasn’t fantastic, but we were still able to enjoy the pool, bbq and fire pit. The house is very private surrounded by bush land and the owner was very accessible and friendly. Loved the stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great place!
We really liked the set up of the main house and cottage given there were 4 couples and only 2 of us had kids (who wake up early so 2 couples had some peace and quiet in the cottage!). Kitchen is great and we cooked most nights for 8 adults and 4 kids which was easy and the kids loved the pool. The firepit is also great and not too close to the house when you want to have a few wines after putting the kids to bed. David was a great host, easily contactable and responsive. We'd stay again. Thanks David.

Amazing stay
We had a awesome time staying at this property with friends and their kids over the Australian Day long weekend. Perfect for families and friends. Amazing pool to swim with the kids and just relax by the pool or in the water. Great large property with privacy, except for the visiting kangaroos early in the morning. And Stomp Wines is literally a 2min walk up the road! Definitely will consider staying here again . David and friends

A great getaway for the whole family
Large sprawling place with plenty of ‘zones’ for everyone to relax and kids to explore. Loved seeing the Kangaroos hop past during an afternoon swim in the pool. David was quick to respond with any questions we had. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
