We had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic and the view spectacular! everything was easy from the check in process to the getting loaded in to beach access. We all really enjoyed the walk ability and location. Definitely recommend!

Great location. Close to shopping and the boardwalk. We did have an issue in the condo with lights not turning on in the Second bedroom and bathroom. Also, the VRBO extra fees for this condo were kinda high. The elevator was also really slow.
Power went out the morning we were checking out. Luckily we were ready to checkout so it didn’t affect us much. Perfect location!!! Wish checkout time was 11 instead of 10. All in all Sandy Shores in a perfect location.
We do a girls weekend every year. This year was the best! The view. The location. The condo itself. All outstanding! Only bad thing I have to say is the FEES for this place are way way way way out of line. They literally DOUBLE the cost of the condo. This will be a deterrent when we are looking for next year.
We loved the condo and location. It’s a large space with plenty of room. The view was beautiful, you can see the sunsets from your balcony. So many things are within walking distance, especially John’s Pass Boardwalk right across the street. The pool is just big enough and the beach is perfect, not too wide so it was easy for the kids to walk to the water without getting worn out.
The mattresses are firm memory foam which I liked but my husband hated.
A few chairs and an umbrella are in the condo and we’re great to have for the beach. Be sure to bring your own beach towels!
Only cons: you have to have a code for everything. The elevator or stairs, gates and door (all different codes). So make sure to take a screen shot so you don’t get stranded! The tubs are showing a lot of wear and dinginess, the master sink had some minor repair issues.
Otherwise, a wonderful condo! Very friendly residents as well.
Close to John’s Pass. Great views from the master and porch. Unit was as expected.

Not worth the $$
Dirty, poorly appointed - no beach towels, no wine bottle opener. Unit I booked online was unavailable at last minute for repairs- moved to room w no view. Disappointing all around.
I noticed that a previous guest left their toenail trimmings on the balcony. Day 2 I woke to find a palmetto bug in the dining area. Day 3 palmetto bug in kitchen. Day 4 palmetto bug in kitchen. I killed all 3. Other than that the place was very nice, great view. Sad that there was a smoker close by polluting our balcony air. This was our 2nd stay and would consider staying again in spite the issues mentioned.
Have stayed on Madeira Beach for many years now. This condo unit was nice. Beds/mattresses were excellent. Almost as good as my tempurpedic at home! Had all the amenities that were needed. Actually a few left behind beach items in one of the closets. That was nice! Management staff responded quickly to a slight towel shortage - just had to wait till Monday but still quick. Pool larger than most we have stayed at. Beach awesome to walk. Plenty of restaurants close by. One of our favorites is The Frog Pond for breakfast in North Redington Beach - just a few miles north. Also Sweet Brewnette great for breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.

Sandy Shores Condo
The location is directly across from John's Pass which was great. We enjoyed the Seafood Festival daily without needing to worry about driving/parking.
It's also an oceanfront condo which made for nice beach walks.
The condo is nice and supplied with all of the necessities. We had plenty of space and it was comfortable.
The elevator was a bit of a challenge as sometimes it wouldn't go to the 5th floor so we used the stairs from the 4th up. Other times it didn't work at all so we huffed the stairs.
The parking is assigned and was never an issue.
We would definitely stay at Sandy Shores again.
Condo was fantastic! 5th floor gives perfect views of the pass, beach and SUNSET! Condo was spacious and well appointed. It was nicer than expected. Location, Location, Location!!!! Being able to walk to so many restaurants and ice cream establishments was "icing on the cake". We will be back!!!
Overall great location. We got a call 45 mins before check in that our place would not be available because of something wrong with the power. They did put us up in a very nice suite fairly close to where we were supposed to be, but it was still a huge inconvenience to have to unpack and repack and move a day later. We also payed for beachfront, and missed out on two days of that. The place could use some
Updates. Dishwasher does not work, so most dishes had to be rewashed by hand. We did find some cockroaches in the condo as well. We had a couple problems with the key pad, it’s lengthy to remember and once it would not work, and we had to call as we were locked out of the condo. Pool and beach were great, so this is what makes the place worth staying!

Will Not Return to Unit 503
We stayed at this condo for a week and found at least 7 cockroaches throughout the unit. It was extremely out dated and all the kitchen dishes and utensils were very old and dirty. The condo did not come with liquid dish soap but had two dirty sponges at the sink and did not come supplied with any paper products other than toilet paper. Regardless of covid, this condo lacked cleanliness on many levels. The check in process was easy and the woman helping us at the office was great. The view from the balcony was amazing however.
Overall this was the most run down property I have rented through VRBO. The condo overall was very poorly unkept. There were lightbulbs missing and burned out. Broken patio furniture on deck and ripping and tearing kitchen chairs. Knobs were very loose on cabinets and this was the least stocked kitchen I have stayed in with chipped up plates and very old kitchenware. The furniture was very worn in to sit on. The vertical blinds in both the bedroom and living patio has broken blinds and didn’t open right. Our tensions rod shower curtains were older and fell down every time we went to open the curtain. The elevator for the unit was not working the first day. We had to call maintenance for an emergency water issue and we had to manually turn our water on and off until they could fix it later the next day. I have paid less to rent larger condos for longer stays in much nicer and larger units and this was just very disappointing to rent overall. We loved the overall area, beach, and John’s pass village were this building is located but would not rent from this building again.
