Lovely 2 bedroom cabin on the waterfront. Very private and quiet. Just the right place to relax for a week. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. Solar power and propane services worked well. Definitely would recommend to others seeking a place off the grid.
Such an amazing place for a Christmas getaway. The cabin was quite well equipped. There were many things provided that had we known we wouldn't have had to bring (seasonings/oil/coffee, to name a few). It was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. We are so grateful to be able to find a place that allowed us to bring our dogs, I think they enjoyed it at least as much as us!
My partner and I (and our large dog) spent a wonderful week at the cabin. Cabin is well appointed with everything you need to cook and relax. The lake was frozen (unfortunately not solidly enough to skate on) while we were there, but still great views and lots of nice walks around the area.
Also solid internet and cell service in the cabin, should you need them.
The road to the cabin was being updated while we were there (so this may not apply as much anymore) but if you're going in the winter, a vehicle with a little bit of clearance (and winter tires) would be recommended.
This is my first time staying somewhere that the location was actually better than the pictures. The cabin is beautiful and very clean and the lake was idyllic. Only a few cabins on the lake so quiet but with warm waters and good fishing. We will definitely be back
Our family of 5 and a pup, absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin!
I loved so much how clean, equipped and convenient the Scarelett Antlers cabin was.
I was very happy that they allowed pets and was set up for them too.
Also, it was perfect how the lake was steps away from the cabin, with many things to do.
The hosts, Daniel and Aaron were wonderful when we had any questions and getting in touch with them.
We are already planning our next getaway to the Scarlett Antlers cabin.
Thank you so much for letting us getting back to nature!
The cabin was so nice and well equipped. We did a little fishing in Wilson Lake, went on walks, swam, had a campfire, BBQ'd, and explored nearby lakes. The hosts were great!!
The six of us couldn't have asked for a better setting for our getaway. It was peaceful and secluded, and the cabin was perfect for six adults. We snowshoed, ice fished and played pond hockey all from our cabin. The stars were brilliant every night! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
This is such a cute cabin, seriously in the middle of nowhere! It was a bit tricky to find, especially in the snow. Make sure you look out for the wooden “cabin signs” on your way, and if you feel like you’ve gone too far, you probably haven’t!
The lake was frozen with a little hockey rink available to use. We would have loved to have had the opportunity to rent skates or snowmobiles but sadly we couldn’t. Definitely suggest planning all your rec activities out in advance and bringing everything you need since there’s literally nothing there and the closest town is 45 min and is super tiny!
We loved detaching in this winter wonderland but probably could have planned a bit better considering how remote it is!
New cabin, clean and well equipped. Off grid but ample power for daily use. Has backup generator too once the solar/battery dies down. Would recommend, A+!
The cabin was nice and clean. The grounds need a lot of work. The path to the lake is super steep and lots of roots to trip over. We didn’t know this was an “off the grid” cabin rental. Also it is on Wilson lake, not bridge lake.
