holiday with pets

away from the crowd watching the morning mist and cows is value , even though a lot of rain we were comfortable and pets were safe. we felt at home with Danielle & Kim

Property poor and communication with owner was lacking.

This stay was booked in may 8 weeks in advance.I received a booking conformation on booking it. Then 1 day prior i received another reminder from stays about the stay but no arrival instructions from the owner. On arrival the owner was cleaning the flat and didn't even know about the booking and that was at 5 pm.( check in was at 3pm) They asked for about 1 hr to get it ready so went to wyong and bought chinese but was going to cook our diner and when arrived back at 6 .30 pm all looked good. However, no instructions on how to operate the TV (Foxtel only) or oven or fireplace. No wood for fireplace and had a pot plant on it? Obviously they didn't want us to use it but was advertised as a feature of the place. So there was no way to heat the place up! The owners dogs had dog poo every where. We cleaned up after ours and spent 15 mins cleaning up after theirs! The grounds are unkept. Yes it is a farm but everything looked overgrown and unkept. Their was a courtyard we couldn't use due to plants overgrown and mossy pavers you would slip on. The place was cold and with no heating we decided to cut our tip short by 24hrs. The only correspondence i had with the owner while we were there was by email? She never took the time to pop in and see if we were comfortable and needed anything? Additionally the floor in the bedroom and main area is 3 inches out of level so you're always walking down hill and because of this i almost fell over twice

Lovely place to stay for a countryside getaway! Seriously roomy living/kitchen/ dining space, well appointed bedroom and a lovely lagoon pool to take a dip in! Absolutely perfect for what we needed!

Perfect farm stay

I had my son and doggo on this stay and I was blown away we had such a great time Dani and Kim are so warm and inviting it felt like we were apart of the family going above and beyond We are looking forward to being able to make this our regular family stay making us feel like a home away from home 🥰 We enjoyed the families golden retrievers and feeding the Highland cows Totally felt refreshed leaving this stunning property ❤️

Cute, Fun & Delightful

Such a great time was had in the Cottage. The secluded location added to the adventure. A refreshing dip in the Pool, was followed bybthe unexpected find of an acutal Pool table! Wish could have had more time there! 100% going back in the future!!!

Disappointing .

Basically you get what you pay for , however that said this accommodation was over priced . Outdated , absolutely filthy floors & generally not clean . The owners who live adjacent to the accommodation have dogs , which we were aware of prior to booking , however there was a lack of transparency on the website about how annoying the dogs were with continual barking extending into the night . Would not recommend this accommodation .

Country getaway

Lovely remote country property with so much room inside and expansive areas of fields that made it so peaceful and serene. Good parking area provided, and a lovely, slow combustion fireplace that was prepared and ready to be lit, which warmed the place up within 10 minutes. There was fresh juice in the fridge and milk, fresh farm, eggs, fresh bread and butter, plus lovely, touches like a capsule coffee maker and condiments that you needed to cook. Really good size and very big TV that also had Foxtel, plus there was a small fenced courtyard that we could let our dog go to the toilet in as she wasn’t able to be let off the lead because of the roaming chickens and ducks. There were some lovely resident dogs, but the owner was very understanding and only let one out side and she was a lovely retriever and ever so friendly and seem to get on with our dog while she was leashed when outside. The big cottage also had a lovely picnic table outside with the fire pit and the salt water pool is really lovely and my dog even had a swim in it. I really feel like you have got away from everything when staying at this property but keep in mind that it is a country property so make sure you wear covered shoes or boots with the grass and wild animal and dog droppings on the grasses areas. It’s not that far from the freeway, so nice as a stopover or when visiting the Central Coast, but that said it is completely quiet but do remember that there is a rooster.

Just what we needed. Quiet, plenty of space for our dog to run. A warm welcoming fire and the fresh eggs a bonus. The cottage was well prepared and equiped with all we needed for our stay.

Comfortable, well appointed, country stay. The hosts were available and lovely and not intrusive. The cottage was perfect for us and very roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the furnishings are comfortable. We will be back.

After navigating around large basket ring we found area to park need to have signage to find door into property,as there where many comments on the farm fresh eggs &bacon in fridge on website l wondered if l booked same place empty fridge ? no paper to start fire ,,which was full of ashes ? Next morning woke to No water contacted owner 2hrs later got reply .as we had to leave having no wash or shower no cup of tea not very happy .Could have paid a lot less for camp site

Jillibi Cottage has a complete farm stay feeling about it. The hosts; Kim and Danielle are just wonderful. We didn’t see a lot of Danielle since she was working, but Kim was around more. He is an out of the world chap. Helpful, courteous and generous. He gave us some honey ( which I loved ) and barn laid eggs ( which my wife appreciated ). He even lit the fireplace twice for us. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Our property is situated on 16 acres with creek frontage. It is peaceful and quiet and you might even spot a platypus. It is a great space to enjoy serenity or group gathering where you can get together with friends and not have to worry about neighbours.

What makes this property unique

There is a beautiful resort style pool surrounded by stone with pub size pool table and dart board. The property offers different types of accomodation to suit different guest requirements. Plenty of offstreet parking for cars, trucks, caravan and trailers. Situated opposite national park with great walking trails. Pets are welcome.
