We are excited to invite you to stay at the Silver Plume Ski Lodge. Our home is easy to get to and close to so many Colorado activities such as:
- Skiing - the largest house near Loveland Ski Area--7 minutes away!, 25 min to Araphahoe Basin, 30 min to Keystone
- Hiking - only a few miles from Grays and Torreys Peak trail heads and miles of other trails in close proximity
- Biking - beautiful mountain biking off of Guanella Pass and surrounding area, road biking from Loveland Ski area all the way down to Georgetown and beyond.
-Rafting & Ziplines - Take the plunge down the Class-I to IV rapids on the Clear Creek. There are several nearby outfitters who can guide you downriver or provide entertainment for all ages at their adventure parks.
- Fishing - our home has 275 feet of Clear Creek frontage so you can fish right out the back door.
- Motorcycling - our home is a perfect home base for touring through the Rocky Mountains on your motorcycle. All roads are paved to the house.

- An incredible great room with an HDTV (including NFL Sunday Ticket), a pool table, a wet bar, and a wood-burning fireplace
- Gourmet kitchen with 6 burner range & commercial hood. PLUS an additional kitchenette set up.

- Apartment common area with a pull out (2-mattress) trundle bed

Easter Ski Trip

This place was perfect for our stay to go skiing at Loveland Ski area over Easter weekend. There was plenty of space, and we loved the family/rec room with a pool table and TV. The large deck and hot tub were also a hit. This was a wonderful experience for our family!

Great home base

The Silver Plume Ski Lodge was the perfect home base for our group of two families. The house is large, everything is stocked, the kitchen is well equipped and there is even a heated garage.The location is perfect if you’re planning to ski/snowboard at Loveland. It’s right off the highway but the house is well sound proofed and you don’t hear much road noise.All of the rooms areon the top floor and there are ample bathrooms to give everyone privacy. The apartment bedrooms were sought after by the kids!It was really nice to have two sets of washers and dryers. The hot tub was great after a long day on the mountain.Aaron was a fantastic host and was always available when we had questions. We definitely hope to stay here again!

We had 6 couples, the property is organized in a way that we all had our individual space plus multiple group areas to hang out. Works well for large groups!

Great for a big group. Some minor house keeping issues that the owner resolved quickly. Grill is in rough shape probably at the end of life. Overall excellent property.

100% the best cabin rental I've ever done for a large group

This property was freaking AWESOME. There were 10 of us total for 3 nights here and this cabin had more than enough room for all of us. A few members of our group were single so all of the bedrooms were taken plus the day bed because those group members preferred having a bed to themselves, but if you double up in each bed there is room for 14. There are two full kitchens plus a bar area, a very spacious living room/sitting area with the pool table, and plenty of nooks and crannies to curl up and read a book or take some time to wind down after activities in the mountains. Plus the hot tub!! The cabin was also a prime location for getting to Loveland and Arapahoe Basin. Winter Park is a little further away, but it shaves down the time spent in traffic significantly. It's also just a couple miles from Silver Plume and Georgetown. Aaron was very friendly to interact with and prompt with responses and was so nice to let us check in a little early. On top of all of this, the prices for the stay were incredibly affordable. I can't believe we nabbed such a nice place for what we paid! There are so many little thoughtful amenities like coffee, popcorn, oatmeal, games, etc all laid out for guests to use. We had only good things to say about the place and not a single complaint. We have already bookmarked the Vrbo listing for future use if it is open, as well as recommended it to a couple of other friends who are looking to book a cabin for large groups. Useful info for future guests: there is the sweetest black and white pup from the neighbors who came to visit us a few times a day for some pets (and we all ran outside as fast as we could to give them to her!). Her name is Lucy. If you see her, just know that the neighbors (who are also very nice, by the way) have a dog door so she comes and goes as she pleases. It was cold one night and I called the number on her collar because I didn't know if her owners knew she was out adventuring!

Beautiful home

We were so pleased with the property. Large kitchen area with everything you could need and large family area to accommodate everyone. We were able to enjoy multiple attractions with this as our "home base". So glad we found it listed!

This was the perfect place for our large family group of “10”! Our itinerary had us going in all directions and this was a great hub! Lodge itself was spacious and comfortable for us all! Would definitely stay here again!!

Friends Trip to Colorado

This place was great for our group! We decided to hang out here at night and play games as a whole group instead of going out and this house had enough room for our group of 12. Erin was super easy to get ahold of when I couldn't find something. We would look at this house again when staying in Silver Plume!

Has Everything!

Stayed for Thanksgiving week with family. This house truly has absolutely everything you need for time in the mountains. The multiple bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great! We skied Loveland which was only 10 mins away! Highway was not a bother since the house is surrounded by trees and the creek running behind is just beautiful! Will save this property for the future!

This property is excellent for multi-couples. 4 ensuite bathrooms is wonderful. But be forewarned, all outside areas noisy from highway and no nearby restaurants. Small kitchen too. Host very very responsive with answers to questions and gave us early check-in

Colorado’s absolute best host.

Two Families, 11 people total 56-21 year olds. We had the best times of our lives. None of us had ever been to Colorado before and Aaron, our host, had us set up like we could never have imagined. The home is the most guest ready vacation home I have ever visited. He told me it was well equipped but I’ve heard that one before. I’m not joking when I say that every single room in the house had a bottle of hand and body lotion in it. Not sure if can say the brand but a quality lotion. Every shower in the home had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Again quality products. He supplied us with a huge stack of fire wood for the wood stove inside as well as the outdoor fire pit. Every spice and/or oil, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, cereal, literally everything you need is already there. There were enough plates, glasses, cups and flatware for all of us to eat our meals at the same time. The views are amazing. From every window you can see beautiful snow capped mountains and/or the Clear Creek, which runs through the property. He even had the hot tub hot and ready to enjoy. Anytime I had a question for Aaron prior to our arrival, he gave a prompt, very informative and detailed answer. He gave me his personal number and told me that if we needed anything while we were there to contact him immediately and he would take care of it. We didn’t have to test that out because there literally was not one thing we needed while there. I’m sure if we had needed something he would have been there for us. Thank you Aaron, you easily are the best vacation host I have ever had. If.... no, when we return to Colorado, I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else but in your home.

Brian is a realtor in Golden, Erin is a corporate event planner-turned-stay-at-home mom and Aaron is a small business owner in Denver. In our spare time, we love to enjoy the mountains in every way possible - particularly skiing!
