Wife and I stayed here this past weekend. Location is ideal and duplex has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville.
Loved the location. Hard to see house numbers ( peek thru the shrubs) but loved being able towalk to restaurant. Many restaurants close by with a car. Would love to rent it again.
We wanted a spot close to downtown and this fit the bill. We walked back home both Friday and Saturday nights. Close to lots of great dining and breweries.
The unit was very clean however the bathroom needs a remodel. Enamel peeling from the tub leaves tub looking dirty and the tile grout is bad flooring in bathroom looks bad etc.
Rest of the unit was clean but metal kitchen drawers need maintenance.
This was a nice place to stay for a short trip to Asheville. The neighborhood was quiet but still within walking distance of restaurants and downtown. Taco Temple was excellent and is a block away. It was small which isn’t a big problem for two people. But a smaller size bed would be preferable. The king size gave almost no room to get in and out of the bed on either side. The bathroom was also quite small and the shower curtain was so long you ended up standing on it. Again, not really big problems and certainly the pros outweighed those few issues.
Bedroom so small unable to walk around bed. Only 2 small flat pillows. No hangers and unable to hand dresses anyway. Bathroom small and rusted. No place to hang towels or wash cloths or place anything. There was hair stuck to wall. Kitchen was well equipped but also small.
Loved the place. Just two opportunities: one the washing machine sound like a train especially when on spin. The washer also smells very moldy. Yuk
Second, wash the the mattress cover please. It is discussing. Or get one without stains
Thanks
Mary
The bathtub was decrepit, peeling and filthy. So were the tiles around the tub. Upon arrival, we went out to purchase a tub mat so our feet would not touch the tub.
The furnishings were barely adequate. The living room rug was filthy.
The bedroom was so tiny that there was as barely room to get into the bed.
We checked out three days early.
We do not recommend.
We were disappointed with this Condo. Bathroom was very tiny and shower had mold growing. Seems like bath tub was painted and paint is noticeably wearing off. Condo just wasn’t very functional for us. Kitchen was old. We had difficulty getting network tv stations and news. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are down the street about 5 blocks which was great very easy access to highway. Office was very responsive to our request for fixing some issues and repair person was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Very tidy, quaint, and private. Small space great for a getaway close to downtown AVL without breaking the bank. Enjoyed easy parking, short walk to downtown, and nextdoor coffee shop and butcher shop. Comfortable for 2, more than 2 would have been tight.
Place was clean. The location was excellent. However, the bathroom is very small and dated. We are senior citizens and the bathroom was uncomfortable. The tub floor needs to be resurfaced. The microwave in the kitchen did not work well and the drawers and cabinets were noisy and stiff.
Bedroom door would not stay closed at night.
Half of the grout lines in the shower are moldy. The chipped ceramic in the bottom of the tub and soapdish was poorly repaired and needs to be reglazed. The long shower liner did not allow for proper water drainage while taking a shower.
We emailed Town Property and did not receive a reply.

Cute….But very small
Overall, the place was nicely decorated.
The place is very small in the description it does not list it is a two family home, you will be sharing a wall with someone else and there were a few times it did get loud. (Hearing there TV in the evening hours.) I was also concerned about being to loud too.
The bedroom was difficult to move around in. The kind size bed was okay, not luxury linens. I couldn’t store my suitcase in the room had to keep it in the living room. There was a blanket hanging on the wall to cover up a door to the other side of the house, I thought that was creepy feeling. You had to walk sideways to get in and out of the bed. The door doesn’t stay shut. The only place you can safely get undressed or dressed was the bathroom. Don’t try to sleep, in the bedroom window looks out over the shared parking lot and a dumpster that gets emptied very early in the morning. Bring earplugs and some type of white noise.
The bathroom desperately needs updating, the bathtub has chips on the bottom and almost looks dirty. Doesn’t have a lot of space to store your toiletries and the inside vanity it needs to be cleaned. I was only given one roll of toilet paper and I stayed for entire week. The toilet leans to one side and feels unstable. No bath mat to step out onto either, I used a washcloth.
The kitchen was okay it was hard to move around in and lacked a few kitchen items.
The living was the largest space but the entry door needs a shade over it for privacy, I draped a coat over it.
The location of the place was nice, very convenient to grocery stores, close to downtown Asheville and Biltmore.
This property is in the perfect location to explore Asheville. The house sits just outside of downtown and has a historic feel to it. It is a smaller house but perfect for couples. We enjoyed our stay.
WHAT A PERFECT HOLIDAY GET AWAY. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING , INCLUDING FAMILY.
RESTAURANTS, GROCERY STORES AND THE CITY BAKERY.
THE HOME HAD ALL AMENITIES. COMFORTABLE BED AND LINENS
