About this property

Summary:
This beachfront home boasts phenomenal views of Rabbit Island and the beautiful Mount Beach. With the beach reserve across the road and shops & cafes a short walk away, it is easy to enjoy everything on offer in this very popular beach destination.

The Space:
A 1970's dwelling, renovated in 2010, the home has the capacity to sleep up to 12 guests in total. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms that sleep up to 8 guests with one of the rooms having air-conditioning. Upstairs there are another 2 bedrooms that can sleep up to 2 guests each. Both bedrooms upstairs come with air-conditioning there own ensuite.
The spacious living area is a great space to spend time in with its foodie’s dream kitchen and a good flow out onto the large deck where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views across the Mount beach. The property also comes with a plunge pool for relaxing or when you just want to cool down and is available for use between Labour weekend and the end of April.

Getting Around:
Main Mt Maunganui Beach, Mauao ( Mountain) and downtown are all within walking distance.

We can provide quality highchairs and porta-cots with clean fresh linen, these can be ready at your property in time for your stay.

Family get together

We had a wonderful stay and the property location to the Mount was awesome, ease of access to the beach was brilliant, we stayed with 10 adult family members and the house and facilities were brilliant.I would have no problems in recommending this house for a family get together / holiday.

Gorgeous beach views

Everything was clean and comfortable— the main living area and deck was just as pictured and a beautiful place to visit with friends. The location is convenient to shops, dining and beach. Beds are comfortable— lovely stay for us 2 couples and four singles.

Extended Family Weekend away

Our yearly extended family weekend away. The property is in a great location with a fantastic view. Property is good for large groups, lots of space and beds, enough parking inside the property for 4 vehicles which is handy on the busy road. Walking distance to the shops/cafes etc and across the road from the beach which the family spent a lot of time at swimming.

Great Spot

This is a beautiful home. Was really nice having multiple bathrooms. It was rainy while we stayed there so nothing dried in the house (bath and hand towels) but having the double washer and dryer was AMAZING. It definitely wasn't super thoroughly cleaned in a few spots (like the blinds along the stairs were mega dirty). But the layout of the kitchen living room is perfect for a big family holiday spot and having that massive fridge and lots of space was really wonderful. And being so close to the beach was perfection! The property manager was great to deal with and made check in/out really easy.

Amazing views, very relaxing and beautiful home

It was raining when we stayed, but the property has amazing views which made our trip very relaxing and special. We really enjoyed eating and lounging around while watching the Panaromic view of waves crashing in the sea. Check in process was easy, there was ample car parking, kitchen was equipped with lots of utensils, spices, and dishware, rooms were big and beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was smaller than it looks in the picture, the blinds next to the stairs do not shut very well which led to wind coming through (it was very heavy rain and wind when we stayed) and a couple of the bar stools were broken. These are small issues and did not affect our comfort and enjoyment staying in the property. Thank you.

Ultimate Family Getaway

We loved our stay here! The location and view to opposite the beach is pretty special. This place offers so much space that even with 10 of us staying there was so much room for us all. Was a great choice for our family get together weekend.

Promised view did not lie

Fantastic view, you will not need TV! We had 4 children with us aged 0,0,3 and 4. Would not recommend this property for little ones like we had. There are stairs to the livingroom and mostly tiled floors. Great property for adults though. Shops in walking distance, beach across the road, Pilot Bay not far away, great for children. Nice big dining room table for together meals or games. Plenty of crockery, doesnt sound important but had many experiences where there was only just enough. Highly recommend this property.

A superb location

Everything was very good except there were dirty oven dishes left in the dishwasher. The house was a great space for our Mother’s 90 birthday dinner & for accommodation of family.

A lovely house which met all our needs. A great location within walking distance to shops, cafes, etc., and still be away from the busy areas. Being on the beachfront gave a great view of the ocean at sunrise. Would book again for a family stay.
