Beautiful Cottage

We visited the area for a family wedding and had the most beautiful stay in Georgetown. The house is in the perfect location to shops and we enjoyed the bikes on offer to explore the area. The beds were so comfortable and the house was great for our family group. Janmaree was a great host and always on hand to answer questions and offer local tips!

What a gorgeous cottage right on the river. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Janmaree is very helpful with great tips on where to go and where to eat. We would definitely come back to York Cottage.

Wonderful location, beautiful house.

Loved being able to see the boats on the water, close to everything. Had dinner at the pier hotel, right across from the house. The house itself had a good feel to it, with each room having something different to it almost quirky. Host was great with communication and happy to help with any queries or to give a recommendation.

This house was perfect. Great house, location and gardens. The deck overlooked the grasslands and water. So relaxing. The bed were comfortable which is not always the case. Janmaree was so helpful with everything including what to do on the way to the house. I highly recommend this house. Great value.

A beautiful house

When we first walked into this beautiful house we were amazed as to how beautifully decorated it was! Everything that we could wish for was there, the 3 main bedrooms that we slept in was super duper comfortable and we loved all the finishing touches. We pretty much lived out on the deck as the views were amazing and it was so peaceful and serene. Our host was absolutely exceptional with his communication, particularly when answering all of my questions!! It was just what we needed, a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings. Thank you!

Georgetown Gem

Fabulous little cottage with very comfortable beds (main has a king bed so gotta love that). Great location with amazing views over the Tamar River. Just a few minutes drive from Low Head and their fabulous beaches. Great new bike track nearby for the bike enthusiast and not forgetting the nearby wineries. This lovey historic cottage is the perfect place to position yourself as your explore the very lovely region of Georgetown. Great communication with Jannelle (host) who was quick to respond to any issues or queries. Clean as a pin too, and I'm a clean freak. Thanks for a great week in your lovely cottage.

Who knew George Town was so special?

What a delightful property. Such a stunningly kept and restored historic home, with every modern touch you could ask for, mixed with cleverly applied eclectic touches all over. None of that does justice to the location and just how special the deck and fire pit are to congregate around, looking across the magnificent Tamar. Thank you to Janmaree for looking after us for our last minute decision. Next time it will be for much longer and better planned on our part… though with such a convenient location and everything at your fingertips, well… a little spontaneity can probably be forgiven.
