The place was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there. The location was centrally located to many venues in Ashville. We would suggest this place to anyone who visits. My only suggestion is that the bedrooms need a mirror. Also, the closet in the one room needs to be lowered.
We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville.
Location above Chop Chop Butchery and next to awesome restaurant and bakery was too good to be true. Heart of Asheville minutes away by car with plentiful parking. Just easy access to all the delicious and creative charms of Asheville. Property clean with contemporary decor and spacious for two. Third floor walk up keeps your heart healthy.
We were visiting Asheville in order for my daughter to tour UNC-A. This apt was absolutely perfect! We loved the decor, we loved the location, we loved the accessibility of the restaurant and bakery downstairs. I can't recommend this place highly enough and now want to stay there every time we visit Asheville in the future! Thanks for the wonderful accomodations!
Our accommodations were great. The space was comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated and clean. We had everything we needed. The location is close to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. We had a great time! Thank you!
This was a perfect little apartment for our family of 4. Location was great, with quick access to downtown Asheville but not in the heart of the city. Only flaws would be the old windows which allowed for a lot of outside noice.
Our stay was fantastic and the unit was perfect. The location is superb and a plus to be above a great restaurant and coffee shop/bakery!! Easy walk to downtown. Highly recommend this place. Roomy, clean, nicely decorated and the 2 king size beds are always a plus!
Very close to downtown. Excellent bakery next door. They give discounts to condo renters! Restaurant downstairs is good, but you should make reservation for dinner. Would definitely come back.
We enjoyed staying in the apartment, location was close to downtown, enjoyed the restaurant and bakery on the ground level, apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We would have liked it even more if we didn’t hear the noise of the cars passing by.
Clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment conveniently located to downtown and highways.
Booked apartment as central location to explore Pisgah National Forest and Linville Gorge hiking areas. The actual apartment is pretty nice, but quirky as the bathroom door has no lock and neither of us could figure out how to turn on the kitchen light. There was ample parking and the check in process was straighforward.
We loved our stay here. The front porch was wonderful - being able to see out the window and enjoy the sunshine. Place was very clean and comfortable. There was a coffee pot but it was a regular one not a Keurig. Nothing wrong with this - just mentioning as someone who carries pods with her. ;-) Only minutes from everything! High recommend!
Great near downtown location and very cute little spot over an amazing bakery and wine/meat shop and restaurant. Apartment had great views and comfy living room for family hangs and nice kitchen but only note is that it was sparse so needed to buy all the basics that would have been nice to have on hand (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.). And no games or books or anything but as long as you’re properly prepared for 3 flights of stairs, it was lovely.
Pros:
-loved the location
-bedrooms, living room and sunroom were all perfect for our needs
-Everything was clean
Cons:
-third floor walk up, so if you have mobility issues, keep that in mind
-bathroom was really lackluster. No counter space at all which made it hard to do anything in there, shower has low water pressure, toilet runs almost continuously
Heads up: we had to set the A/C to 62 degrees in order to get the temperature down around 72 inside. The AC works, but not very well so crank it all the way down.
Overall it’s a solid option in a nice location.
The apartment was exactly as described! The amenities were great as well, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, etc), plenty of towels for showering and such. There is also a full washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable with clean linens.
I really didn’t have to communicate with the owner/management company much bc they sent very clear instructions right after I booked, which was great! The location is awesome in terms of proximity to everything, but it is quite noisy! It’s above a couple restaurants, and on a busy intersection. So if you’re a light sleeper, take your ear plugs! Oh and, you will be walking up 4 flights of stairs to get in and out of the apartment!
I’d def recommend this location if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in Asheville!
The location of this place is great, as far as convenience and walkability go. It’s a mile to downtown, and the coffee shop and restaurant downstairs are terrific! But the flip side is, it’s a busy street, on a corner with a street crossing that has verbal cues, so you hear that all night. Luckily I had my headset, but my friend didn’t. The restaurant uses the lower floor of the building, and the front door is slammed a lot as they go in and out during the day (napping is almost impossible). The apartment is nicely decorated and clean. The commode runs until you jiggle the handle. No bath mat in the tub, which is a bit scary. And the mattress has seen better days, I think. All told, it was a decent value for the cost.
I lived in Asheville for 15 years. I know the town quite well and was excited to stay in this building. The location is really primo for access to downtown without being right in the middle of it. City Bakery downstairs is delicious and offers 10% discount for guests.
Unfortunately, the A/C was not working which made sleeping a bit difficult. That might have been OK except the fan in the master bedroom was also broken as well. I left a message for the property manager who did not return the call. On the last day of the stay, I called again to alert them not to put other guests in the unit until the maintenance issues were addressed. She acknowledged the issues but did not offer an apology.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay. One star deducted for accuracy of listing due to AC issue. Other than that, everything was as stated.
