This is a great little mountain house for two couples! Easy to get into downtown, but also secluded and close to hiking spots.
Although, for the price, having a fire pit, hot tub, hammock, clearing for walking trails, and topping a tree that’s obstructing the view, or some other amenities (that could easily be added to this location) would compare better to other listings in this price range. Otherwise, we loved it though.
Great location. Nice accommodation and mountain views. Short drive to the stores and restaurants. We relaxed on the porch and watch a storm provide a lightning show over the distant mountains.
We had a wonderful stay! It was clean, comfortable and easy to get to so many places! Our first night we even had a bear and cubs down below. We would stay again!
The place was adorable and just far enough out of the city for all those great mountain vibes, but super close to everything.
Perfect for 2 couples, we even saw a couple of bears as we were driving to town which was amazing.
The property was nice and clean and an ample space for our family of four. The views from the balcony are excellent and we had 4 bears in our yard on the second morning! Definitely recommend the property!
Loved it. Really key location right in the thick of the mountain, but only a simple Uber ride into town. Cozy accommodations were perfect for two couples that spent most of the time outside. Saw five bears (!) two came right through the back yard then three the next day on the road. Didn’t have to make any meals or anything, but kitchen is nice and has everything you need. Bathrooms good and we managed the one shower effectively. Good spot!
Sunset Views were amazing! Plaice was clean and enough space for 4 comfortably. Had an issue with the heat while we were there, but the management company responded very quickly with space heaters. Very peaceful.
Great house. Had to share the bathroom with the shower. 2nd bedroom has 1/2 bath. Beautiful views. Parking could be a challenge with 2+ cars. Road is tight but you can drive through as it loops back to main road. Overall very comfortable and would recommend this property.
We greatly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book this home again! The house was a little difficult to find at first - we also found that Ubers had a little difficulty finding but a call to drivers when close solved that issue. That said, we quickly fell in love with the forest setting (the deck views from the rocking chairs are amazing!) and closeness to downtown Asheville and proximity to great hiking. We had a minor issue when checking in but customer service was so responsive and accommodating. The house itself was immaculately clean and had everything we could need from kitchen supplies to bathroom items. Hands down a great stay!
What a place to make a first impression. 4 Hope Lane really was an AMAZING place to spend our first time visiting North Carolina. A beautiful cabin/home with an equally breathtaking view! We will most definitely be back! We were very comfortable, Close to pretty much everything. The management went above an beyond for us. They were very communicative and responded very quickly, and were extremely helpful . It was fantastic! Cannot wait to return.
Very nice property and setting. 1 minor issue - the turntable in the microwave didn’t fit and wouldn’t turn. Otherwise the house was very clean and comfortable. We will be back!
If you want to be close enough to downtown Asheville without being too close, consider this place. We were downtown in 10 minutes. Finding it is a little tricky, and definitely recommend checking in before dark, but once you do, you’ll feel right at home with breathtaking views and comfortable furniture. We enjoyed our little getaway!
The beds and furniture were very comfy, but the kitchen was lacking. There were many empty cabinets! Could add some containers for leftovers, only 1 baking sheet!? The smart lock outsmarted us. There's no deadbolt, and you can open the door from the inside but it's locked to the outside (after pressing ##). A note inside the house would've been helpful.
