Magical Retro house

We really loved our stay here but I’m thankful for the reviews that I read before we arrived. Be aware that if you stay here in the winter that the downstairs (where all the bedrooms are) is going to be completely unheated when you arrive. We arrived on a 20 degree night and it took 24 hours to get the bedrooms to a liveable temp. The property manager says that she has asked for more space heaters. There are also some electrical issues resulting in some of the rooms losing power. We reset the main breaker and it started working again. Aside from all this, we absolutely loved the place. Yes, there are many things that are not updated, and if you’re a clean freak, the carpet will freak you out. We didn’t care about that and just loved the huge living room, card room, and kitchen. The view is lovely and we saw heaps of deer and even some bears. There was ample soaps in all bathrooms and laundry. I will absolutely try to come here again, but will bring space heaters!

Charming older mountain home

This home is older but it has lots of charm. It is well stocked with wood for the fireplace and it had everything we needed for large amount of snow that fell during our stay. Bring chains for your tires if you stay here while it snows. You definitely need them. The kitchen was stocked with nice pots and pans and everything else we needed to cook meals. The only negative thing was the downstairs was quite chilly. We would definitely stay here again.

Family skiing holiday

Amazing views and location, cabin is spacious and well equipped, close to the resort and a short drive from town. Manager has good communication however attention need to be paid to cleanliness as upon arrival there was a lit of litter from previous guests including used socks and a number of discarded bottles (specially on deck) and dirty glasses in cabinets… this forced us to was all silverware glasses and dishes and quite a bit of grease in cooking area. Carpets while vacuumed are old and ragged in a number of places and heating in downstairs secondary bedroom, bathroom and washing room do not work which was a but if a bother when the nights were in the teens outside. Additionally a number of lamps need to be tended to as they do not work either because of blown light bulbs or other issues. Overall it is a good property where we enjoyed our time specially after long skiing days. Fireplace in family room is amazing and the views are incredible. We would love to stay there again if attention to the cleanliness is paid and if the carpet and electrical issues are fixed. Overall an OK to good rating but not outstanding
