The place was nice enough and kept clean. It was conveniently 13 minutes from Universal - which was great for the one day we visited. And you could tell the kitchen had recently been remodeled - it’s beautiful and doesn’t look like the pictures show.
However, I was told by the guest contact (John) before our trip that we would be allowed to check in as early as 1000 - since we were arriving on Thanksgiving Day. When we got there at 1100, the cleaning lady was there, and she said she needed two more hours to clean the place. So why were we told we could be there at 1000? Our code also stopped working the first day, so the guest contact had to have his nephew come out and give us a different code to use because he couldn’t get ours to work correctly.
Also, the fan in our bedroom didn’t work, none of the lights in the bedrooms worked, there’s no locks on the bedroom doors, and our bedroom door also didn’t stay closed unless you purposely push up on the doorknob (the latch mechanism doesn’t catch correctly). And my nephew scraped himself on a screw sticking out of one of the dining room chair cushions.
On top of all this, there was a list of cleaning things we had to do before checking out or we would be charged extra. Why did we pay over $200 for a cleaning fee then? That seems redundant.
The guest contact and his nephew were very friendly, but we would not stay here again because of all these inconveniences.
