Beautifully decorated with everything you need at hand, including a well stocked kitchen and premium linens. Completely contact-less, no elevators or shared spaces and sparkling clean. Comfortably sleeps a family of 5, with Queens in each BR, and full futon of the LR. Quiet street, hosts on site, easy walking distance to shops, grocery stores, waterfront paths, parks and commuting.

Five-Star Family Getaway to New York
This is a beautiful second-floor apartment in a picturesque neighborhood. Our family of two adults and three teens were very comfortable for four nights. Daughter said the futon was very comfortable, and the folding screen created a private sleeping area. The view from the back bedroom was wonderful.The apartment included everything we needed. We brought our own laundry supplies, but found some provided. Many businesses in Hoboken are within easy walking distance. We enjoyed Morelia's Paletas and Paris Baguettes. There is a park with playground at the end of the block.It was so easy to get to and from NYC for sightseeing. The closest bus stop is two blocks, with the 126 bus direct to the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd Street. Tip: Make sure you have the NJ Transit Authority app to buy tickets. One user can get tickets for everyone. One day we rode the PATH train to the World Trade Center, which was also very convenient. There are ferry options, but we didn't choose that.Diane gave great parking advice. Street parking is very limited. Despite having daily permits, we ended up at the Independence Garage on 12th Street (four blocks away) for two days (35 for 24 hours). If you plan to use transit to/from NYC, then I recommend simply parking at the garage rather than searching for street parking. Communication with Diane was great, with helpful recommendations. Check in/out was easy. We loved our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment.

Superb apartment. Host Diane was super thoughtful and helping. There was a boil water advisory when we arrived, and she had already left a lot of bottled water before we arrived. The listing picture do not do justice to the premises. It’s much nicer in real life. Kitchen is well appointed,, including a quality range. Good utensils and dishes. The beds are comfortable. Really a great stay. Would return any time.

Love this place!!!
It was a great stay, we will definitely will be back to Hoboken. It was perfect to see the city every morning and then take the ferry over to NYC. We didn’t have a car so we either walked (which everything is within .5 miles) or took a bus/taxi/uber. Very fun and great experience, only one bathroom which was a little hard with friends but overall great. Besides the dog barking on the last night, it was very quiet and would book again. I would say really not for small kids though, the house is very old but really well maintained. Kids might have a harder time with the stairs and space.

This is a great area to stay. Easy access to NYC by bus, PATH, ferry. Good local shops for food, drink etc and plenty of restaurants nearby. Spacious, warm apartment.

Immaculate, very comfortable and great location
This was our second stay at this very charming apartment. It checks all the boxes for a vacation rental that we will always return to. For starters , it is in a nice walkable neighborhood with beautiful trees, historic homes and an awesome view of the new york city skyline from the bedroom window.. it was impeccably clean upon arrival and well stocked . You can walk to several restaurants and grocery stores and delis! A longer stay next time is a must!

Fabulous apartment in lovely location
Fabulous spacious apartment with great ammenities and in a lovely location with easy access to central.Manhattan. The property is beautifully maintained and really comfortable and homely as well. We loved the Hoboken area with plenty of areas to eat and close to the sea/river front overlooking Manhattan island. Lovely to walk down during both day and evening and very safe walking around. Diane was a great host we would thoroughly recommend her apartments for a stay and will definitely return if we come back to New York. Thanks Diane.

Simply Amazing!
We had a group of 4 women over 50. We have never stayed in Hoboken, wow what a beautiful city, with many amazing restaurants !! The house was on a beautiful street and so spacious!! The photos don’t do it justice! The owner and the communication was excellent!! Also, We enjoyed a quick ride over to NYC a couple times. I would definitely recommend!!

Charmantes Apartment mit Blick auf Manhattan
Eine ganz wunderbare Ferienwohnung in Hoboken. Ruhige Lage in Hoboken in einem charmanten Haus. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Wohnung. Manhattan ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln perfekt zu erreichen. We stayed for 3 nights. Diane’s place lived up to the pictures. It was bigger than I expected. Perfect for a family with an adult child and teenager. Also the location is excellent. It is close to shopping and lovely restaurants. The walk to the PATh was short and also picturesque. It was nice to come back to Hoboken after a hectic day in NYC.

Excellent Stay
The location is absolutely perfect. Hoboken is a great city to walk around with great restaurants. The views of Manhattan are amazing. The train station to get to NYC is close by. We drove there one day and parked very conveniently. The other times we took an Uber. Also very convenient. You could walk, but we happen to be in the area during the hottest days of summer. We needed to conserve some energy!! The apartment is perfect. It was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A few more bath towels and blankets would be helpful, but no big deal. It is super comfortable and homey. The owner is great to communicate with. We had plenty of questions about parking and she was super responsive and helpful. Check-in process was a breeze. I would highly recommend staying here.

Entspannte Tage in Hoboken
Wir waren absolut zufrieden mit der Wohnung und hatten entspannte Tage in Hoboken. Man kommt mit dem Bus oder der Fähre schnell und problemlos nach NYC, und abends kann man den Ausblick auf die Skyline von Manhattan am Pier genießen. Die Kommunikation mit Diane war unproblematisch und immer freundlich.

Un super séjour
Au calme, dans un quartier très agréable, nous avons passé une super semaine dans le logement de Diane. Communication très facile, Diane est dispo si besoin et sinon tout peut se faire en totale autonomie. Le logement correspond parfaitement aux photos et tout est très propre et il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin dans le logement. On recommande!

Fabulous appt in Hoboken. Close to all amenities and easy access via bus to Manhattan. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. I much preferred stopping here than in Manhattan itself. The appt was well equipped and beautifully decorated and laid out. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Checking in and out was easy and communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Appartement très grand, très propre, fonctionnel et confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Literie très confortable. Vue magnifique sur la skyline de Manhattan ! A proximité d'un bus direct pour le centre de Manhattan (en 20') et des principaux commerces à pied. Ville de Hoboken résidentielle et très agréable à vivre. Propriétaires pas loin si besoin. Jay and I have been married since right after college, and are among the 'founding families' of Hoboken, staying here while our three kids grew up in a unique and urban walking town. We love to travel, and are big VRBO vacation renters, renting houses as far away as Washington state, Maine, New Hampshire and California. Jay works in Manhattan, and I work in Hoboken at a publishing company, which moved to Hoboken from NYC in 2002. Our two older sons are in college, and our daughter is in High School.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this house in 1999, when our family was really young. Over the years we've renovated almost every square inch of the place, while trying to keep the original, historic charm. The house was built in 1901, along with 4 other 'mirror-image' houses on Castlepoint. We love the street, the neighborhood and the fact that it's a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Hoboken. We've recently decided to convert one apartment so we could expand a little over the holidays, and enjoy the city view.

What makes this property unique

This home has a history, and living in it has been a very happy experience. We're a half a block from the park, and in the summer, our kids were in and out, off the basketball courts, on the playground, biking, roller blading. We've watched the Hoboken waterfront transform from broken down industrial into an absolute gem, where people walk, bike and fish, and simply sit outside with a book. Hoboken is a neighborhood extension of Manhattan.
