Great house for 6 people or less

This is a lovely place to stay, with 4 bedrooms and a massive garden plus shed with table tennis etc. The only downside is the living space, which is very small for a 4 bed house. Pros: - Shed with pool table, table tennis, bikes etc - 2 toilets - Massive garden - decent sized bedrooms - modern, well equipped kitchen - outside shower with warm water Cons: - despite having 4 bedrooms, the indoor living area is best suited to about 6 people - There's only one 3 seater sofa in the living room and nothing else to sit on except the plastic dinner table chairs - the deck is in full sun from about 5pm to 8pm which makes eating dinner outside difficult. A sun sail would be a game changer - the inside dinner table can comfortably fit 6 people. 8 is a squash - Paid a lot to stay here for a week at Christmas and there were only 2 toilet rolls, no dish washing tablets

Don’t stay here

The property was ok but very poorly setup and prepared. There were a number of light bulbs not working. The kitchen was not cleaned and many of the dishes had not been cleaned but just put in the cupboard. The supplied dishes and cooking utensils were cheap and inadequate. Coffee and tea cups need to hold more than 150ml. There was only 1 roll of toilet papar. There was several bottles of hand sanitiser and soap bottles but they were all empty. Kitchen knives that would be hard pressed to cut butter! No dish washer supplies. The house sleeps 8 people easily yet only seating in the lounge for 2. The rubbish bins stunk of rotten raw fish. You could smell this 10 meters away. It could not have been missed by the cleaners if there were any. The decking had some dangerous jagged edges which would have been a risk for children, clearly never checked. The sandwich maker was so dirty I tried to clean but gave up. We purchased a new one to use, we also purchased all the items that should have been supplied as a minimum in a high priced holiday house. The kettle looked burnt and in poor condition, we bought a new one to use, toaster was ok. TV worked and internet was good. The vaccum cleaner was full and in poor state, no bucket and mop to clean the floors, yet we were required to clean the house prior to leaving. We left it a lot cleaner than when we arrived. Sorry took all the items we purchased. We love Inverloch and been visiting for the last 20 years, most likely retire there. This was the worst stay and the most costly. Value for money is nil. If the choice is stay there or not go, not go is the better option.

Pictures don't do this beautiful home justice

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this home. The pictures absolutely don't do this house justice, it is so much better in real life! The house is clean and spacious- plenty big enough for two couples but could easily have had another couple with us. The back garden was great for our dog and we sat out on the deck in the sun all evening long. We made use of the BBQ too and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We will definitely stay here again!

Getaway!

Glen-Anne on Toorak was a lovely, welcoming property in a great location! My daughter and I had a wonderful break, and it was great that we were able to take the furbabies with us - they loved the big spacious yard as much as we loved the house! The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in - I wanted to take mine home with me!!
