Lovely house

We had a lovely stay. Great location and very comfortable for our mums weekend away. But it would also be good to bring the whole family back to. Faye is an excellent host.

Great set-up for family group getaway

We stayed for 4 nights over the Ultra-Trail festival weekend in May. The house is really nicely set up for a group stay. Very comfortable and spacious and even warm! It has everything you need to be self-sufficient and is also close to national park, shops, cafes etc, so very convenient. Highly recommended.

Great location and clean place to stay

We had a lovely stay at the Wildlife Lodge. The place was clean and very well equipped for all our needs. There was good heating to keep everyone warm all through the house. Plenty of space, toys and games for young kids to entertain themselves in the playroom downstairs. Faye was very quick with responding to all my questions. We had a group of 13 stay at the place (it was pricy to have that additional guest). We did have a slight issue with clogging in the shower leading to water flowing outside the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. Whilst it was easily fixed by removing hair from the drain catchment, it might help to have visibility of drain grate. Otherwise great location, easy check in process, clean and spacious property and great communication from owner.

Comfy, spacious and warm

Lots of room to hang out. The beds were comfortable, the house warm and clean, and teenage retreat downstairs a treat.

Excellent stay

Lovely house in peaceful location but walking distance to Echo point, Three Sisters, shops and cafes in Katoomba. Perfect for families or groups. We were 3 couples with 2 kids each and there was enough room for everyone without feeling squashed in. The games room for kids downstairs meant adults could relax in the main living room or have dinner together knowing the kids were happy. Lovely terrace to sit outside. Hosts have thought of all the necessities and the house is very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Faye was super responsive and lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I live between Sydney and the Blue Mountains, and own and manage several popular properties. We are a modern blended family with 5 grown up children and 1 grandchild between us. We both work in the environment industry. We enjoy hosting respectful guests and their families and making sure they have a comfortable stay.

Why they chose this property

The 4 large bedrooms can each be configured to be single, double/twin or family rooms. Two of the bedrooms have sunrooms which can be used as additional sleeping spaces for larger groups.

There is a rumpus room downstairs which has been set up as a play area for children or a teenager's retreat. The space can also be used as an additional sleeping area for larger groups, using the two futon-style sofa beds available.

A large laundry is also available downstairs for guest use.

What makes this property unique

Each of our spacious bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements and can be configured as double, twin or family rooms.
