Bluebonnet Suite | Private Hot Tub & Large Patio

Built in 1923 by Edward Stein, the Magnolia House was consistently voted one of the top B&Bs in Fredericksburg since 1991. It has been converted from a B&B and is now a premier vacation rental in which you can rent the entire five bedroom house for a gathering with friends and family or as spacious suites with separate sitting areas, fireplaces and private entrances. The Bluebonnet Suite is a 1 bedroom and 1 bath suite that is ideal for couples. Like all of the rooms at Magnolia House, the Bluebonnet Suite is spotless and well appointed with high quality linens, fluffy towels, signature toiletries and luxurious spa robes- all selected with your ultimate comfort in mind. After a long day enjoying the beauty of the Hill Country, relax with a glass of wine next to the koi pond or enjoy a soak in one of the 2 hot tubs. Come see why the accommodations at the Magnolia House are some of the finest the Texas Hill Country has to offer!

LOCATION - 7 blocks north of Main St
HOSTS - Suite all to yourself. There are two other suites on the property but they will not be occupied during your stay. There is also a separate cottage at the rear of the property where the groundskeeper lives but your privacy is always respected.
SLEEPS - Up to 2 people in 1 king bedroom
BATH - Full bathroom with a tub/shower
KITCHEN - Coffeebar with a Keurig, microwave, and small refrigerator
BREAKFAST - No breakfast; coffee and teas are provided
AMENITIES - Wi-Fi, Smart TVs w/ Roku, patio area with hot tub, outdoor dining & seating, a fountain & a beautiful Koi pond, large front porch with comfy seating

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

Charming Suite

We stayed in the Bluebonnet Suite on the South side of the house. The Suite has plenty of room and is very charming. We enjoyed the private hot tub which was clean and already up to temperature. Note: it was private in that it was solely for use by the Bluebonnet Suite guests, but not much privacy. No one was staying in the main house so I can’t speak to how much noise transfer there might be. There was a locked door in the bedroom separating the two units. Great location but not walking distance to Main Street for me!! We enjoyed this stay the most of the 4 properties we’ve used in Fredericksburg.

Beautiful property! We loved the suite we stayed in. It was peaceful and very quiet. A few notes - unlocking the door needed more clear directions, it wasnt intuitive to hit the lock button after imputing the code - the coffee bar could use basics like silverware, bowls, a toaster etc.. doesnt need a full kitchen set up but those basics would have been nice to have. - Hot tub area needs a bit more lighting and pathing around the area. - An air freshener would be a good investment as the property smelled a tad vintage, it wasnt BAD but we were a younger couple and it was a little off putting. Overall would absolutely recommended this property to others in the area

Bluebonnet suite @ the Magnolia house

This suite is welcoming, comfortable, and peaceful. The hottub was hot and ready, and the bathtub is just a wonderful. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here, and I loved it.

Very difficult to check in. For that price, we are not happy with it. Very difficult to use the bathroom. Contacting the host was difficult for us.

Nice getaway

Very nice property. Only issue was the neighbor’s dog barked nonstop until 9pm and started up the next morning at 8am

Cute and comfy suite. Easy checkin process. We had everything we needed for our stay. Only negative comment is that the shower was too short and small for my husband.

Great Little Place

The location is not too far from Main St, but I wouldn’t walk it during the Texas summer. The unit was clean and hot tub worked great.
