Why they chose this property
The incredible natural beauty on and surrounding Mckelvey Island that British Columbia is world famous for will make a lasting impression.
With stunning sunsets that set the sky ablaze ahead of star filled nights.Trout and char breaking the waters surface as eagles and ospreys try to make meals of them from above.
Wildlife viewing offers abundant photographic opportunities including a nesting pair of bald eagles and peregrine falcons right here on island.
The eagles were successful in the 2021 season with raising two eaglets to flight and fledgling independence before our eyes. AWESOME! Moose ,elk ,grizzly and black bear are occasionally seen on mainland shore(from safety of the island). Although Mckelvey Island is in a remote wilderness setting it enjoys the absence of dangerous predators affording enhanced safety as well as piece of mind.
Away from the grind of society and all its pressures ,Mckelvey Island will help to restore life balance while creating lasting family memories that will be cherished for years afterward..
